If you’re into games where you can spend hours or days building up resources and such you should try endless space 2 or total war 2 if you have weeks. A lot of people like Civ but i find the combat lacklustre but there’s still a decent amount of strategy.
It's not so much having to dump time into it, you just very quickly realize how different it is if you're not a streamer and playing "with" a bunch of people. Goofing around suddenly isn't as fun and trying to build seriously is pretty difficult/daunting, even with unlimited money and whatnot.
