@@weirdlittlesister I haven't caught up with the new RTD episodes yet, but barring them, I've thought for years that the show should have ended with Series 5 (the one with the cracks in time). The newest RTD episodes might change my mind on that if I catch up to them.

@@ecthox-1mork909 If you haven't watched those episodes yet, accept an advice: DO NOT (unless you want any remaining bond between you and Doctor Who not only broken but violently bastardeised too)
"have a good life, do that for me rose, have a fantastic life" This line hits so much differently when I saw this episode almost a decade ago. The line originally hit to me as a goodbye to rose but now it's like this reminder of those that I've lost and the fact that all they would really want for me to honor them is to just have a good life without them
I know many love David Tennant, but for me personally this is my favourite story written by Russell T Davies and the best season finale since the show came back. I know many dislike Christopher Eccleston for leaving after one season and deciding not to do the 50th. But having him play the 9th Doctor (effectively the first for much of the audience) was such a coup, and he's a terrific actor. Having an actor of his quality and reputation helped Doctor Who be taken seriously. Look at his eyes as he sends Rose and the TARDIS away. He doesn't shout or cry, he doesn't even say a word and yet that moment tells you everything about the depth of his pain at what he has to do.
Imagine how heartbreaking it would have been if the Doctor had rigged the door to permanently fuse shut the second Rose exited it so as to prevent her from attempting to save him...
I guess you're right but still - an exception He couldn't predict (or didn't think about it back then) that somebody would open console to telepathically control Tardis
This is the reason this was my favourite finale. No other episode ever puts the Doctor in a situations that is truly as hopeless, where there is no sign, no chance of victory without at least serious costs. God, I wish we get something like this again.
Well despite all the British girl fans, I absolutely hate David Tennant. His personality is like a complete joke. His face looks too goofy and comical for a time traveler accompanied by a dark past. Nine was perfect.
kale That's not fair technically as Christopher Eccleston did the first Series and before that kids who were born in the 90s would've only heard references to Doctor Who in Pop Culture. Of course the ratings would be low for the first series as no one knew about it yet.
This is why Christopher Eccleston is my favourite doctor of the nu-who doctors. Sucks that he couldn't get along with some of the big wigs at the BBC at the time, that he couldn't stay on for more than one series. This was also my all-time favourite series ender too.
A lot of the classic dotor actors see the role as a curse, that it's too iconic of a role and that they become type cast. The 5th doctor left after a few seasons because he was worried this would happen, it's kinda ironic since he really pushed for the radio plays when they started. But Christopher sees this role as a massive low point as a actor.
+Owen Dean he doesn't see it as a low point at all, he has said he loved the role and enjoyed making the series he just wants to keep it varied and not just be know for one thing so doesn't talk about it much
@@JoshiVlogsOfficial No, he didn't. He's been to cons/panels lately and has specifically said that he loved playing the Doctor every time. It's just that his "relationship broke down" with three people/producers (RTD is one) that's why he left.
I hope I don't sound cliche but looking at this scene you can tell how in love they are with each other. He was willing to give her his Tardis so she could live. She sucked in the time vortex to save his life. I'm a Ten/Rose fan but this hits me in the feels I think Nine would have said I love you before Ten would've. This scene was the perfect build up for a regeneration though I like Tennant's also I think this was far more emotional but it was my first doctor so I'm biased. Everyone is always Ten/Rose but let's face it, if Rose never believed that Ten was Nine she would have never given him the time of day regardless of looks. She LOVED nine and even though the relationship with Ten was more of a couple than a companion was because she didn't want to lose him again like she thought she did before. Everything in this scene is incredible and Nine will always have a special place in my heart even more so than Ten though he's my favorite if that makes any sense haha
***** Have you forgotten about Bad Wolf Bay? Even if you want to argue it was cut off, the producers have since confirmed the words left unsaid were I love you, even if that wasn't blatantly obvious anyway. No need to be in denial.
I agree. somehow though the materlisation effect for the TARDIS started off really great in series 1 and then it started to worsen to just a fade effect by the later series.
"How are you even doing that… I'm not really here." "You're always here to me, and I always listen, and I can always see you." The Doctor was doing that before he did it with River.
he has the most principals of any actor ive ever heard of. he wasnt in the anniversary special because he refused to be a part of the destruction and nullification of the ninth doctors storyline because all his episodes had to do with the time war and how the doctors was dealing with his guilt but the time war was basically erased from doctor who universe history so he told moffat to shove it. moffat put the nail in the coffin for RTD's four seasons. think about it. he literally changed everything that was new about new who and acted like he was the one who revived the series. the tardis, the logo, the music, the doctor, the companion, the intro and the only thing of RTD's that was left was the time war and he managed to erase that too. he erased all those good moments for the ninth doctor, like the "there was a war and we lost" line basically never happened because there was no war, "My planet's gone. It's dead. It burned, like the Earth" never happened either. that was my favorite moment for rose and the doctor when she realizes why he took her on the worse date ever to watch her planet burn and when she realized jackie has been dead for 5 billion years and she understood why he had to show her all this. moffat ruins everything. ugh why wont he just leave! respect to eccleston for calling moffat out on his shit. respect to him for calling everyone out on their shit. the man has principal.
a way to fix it is have the doctors (11 and 10) go back to try and fix it before realising that they cant and with war (or 9 if he got interested by this) they kill gallafrey sure it would be somber and depressing but that's just life maybe they save 1 time-lord (ace after being dropped of by 7 all those years ago preferably) and they become a companion to capaldis doctor then they can be happy that their are now 3 time-people in the universe (also to explain regeneration the 3 doctors ending the time war instead of just one causes a small rip in time happens going into smith or maybe 3 tardises leaving at a close time does a similar thing)
Ani0227 First of all, it happened. It's like Rory Williams as the Last Centurion. Technically, he was never a Roman and he never kept safe Amy for hundreds of years, but he would have, and he will. The Doctor never pressed that red button which would burn both Gallifrey and the Daleks, but he would have. Even after the 50th anniversary, the Doctor is still that man who burned his own race to save the universe. The regrets and fury aren't gone. It will always be part of the Doctor and will probably haunt him continuously to his end. Second, it's "principle." "It's the principal's principal law to run the school as smoothly as possible. That is her main principle." Third, Doctor Who has been, and always will be about, change. Everything changes. Everything ends. But new things are born, and sometimes the old things come back, in ways we've never imagined. But the Doctor is always the wanderer in the fourth dimension, and that part of the story never changes. I'm sorry if you are not happy with how Moffat's Doctor Who turned out, but it's over now, so I hope you could enjoy Chipnall's show.
Julius KIm I don't think it's him not enjoying the show it's just getting a bit pissed that something that defined the character for the entire time from the start of the new series was retconed because Moffat thought he know better
All this for thinking that the Time-Lords shouldn't be killed off & The Doctor has to be old & goofy and not a young bloke. But then again Chris Chibnall in a way kinda restored RTD's 4 seasons thanks to the Master, and at the same time the time streams are locked, War, 9 & 10 couldn't remember if they saved gallifrey or not.
What an unforgettable scene, the turn of his head still gives me chills to this day. Sidenote, is the hologram aware of where Rose is in the tardis, or did he somehow predict she'd stand there? Always wondered xD
Fifteen years later, this is still one of the very few things in all of the movies, TV shows, plays, books, or songs I've ever been exposed to, that can make me cry. I still remember sitting there, with my DVD copy because I had only gotten to see 2 episodes on SciFi channel before they stopped airing it, and when I got to this scene, I was done for- I could nolonger say I had never watched a show that made me cry. Took me a long time to even attempt watching the next Doctor, cause he wasn't Nine (he wasn't my-Doctor), and honestly never cared for most of the doctors that came after Nine. They just didn't have his heart or his exuberance about little things.
BEST series ever. Love series 1... Sad to think it is nearly 10, wish i could go back to 2005 and see this series for the first time ever and know this was amazing and there won't be a better series than 1, followed by 2. It's weird to think I was only five years old. Best soundtrack Best companion 9 & 10 by far the best Best companion family Best stories The best doctor Fantastic
Completely agree. Murray Gold's soundtrack was as defining to New Who as John William's music is to Star Wars, and while Segun Akinola's music for Series 11/12 is fine it just never captures the emotion of a scene in a way that Murray Gold often did.
He did the right thing by sending her home, he knew they were fighting an enemy that could only be defeated in mutually assured destruction and he tried to make sure she didn't have to go through that. You can totally sense his guilt from the Time War in that at least if he was going to have more blood on his hands, he wanted to make sure it wasn't his best friend's ♥
One, if not the best Eccleston moments as the Doctor. I know he no longer wants anything to do with the show but I think he knows that once you are the doctor...he never leaves you and from then on your always recognized as the Doctor. After I saw him as the Ninth Doctor I couldn't help but think It's Nine! Every time I see him pop up in a movie.
The way he plays her, lying through his teeth to her so casually is haunting, but incredible! Too bad she didn't have River to tell her rule one: The Doctor lies...
he wasn't my favorite doctor, but his eyes were the most expressive. it says A lot when an actor can make you feel through his words, but to bring you to tears with a look (when he stopped running and turned to look at the tardis), that's the mark of true gift. I miss 9.
9 may not be in my top 3...but his era sticks in my mind like glue. Even after watching all of 1 to 13. There is something about 9 thats just...its like his speech in the first episode about feeling the rotation of the planet....its stunning in a way.
#9 had the most expressive eyes. he didn't have to say a word or even move. his eyes told the story. I'm an 11 fan through and through, but 9's eyes forever imprinted him in my top 3.
Doctor who at this stage was like a pandora's box slightly open. RTD has a lot of faults but he knew how to keep everything slightly open. The raw emotion of this scene can't be matched by everything after with the awful Chiball
I always saw it as he knew rose so well he knew shed be banging on the door to get out and then run to the controls before the message ended, so he looked where shed be standing
Well as we see in "The Name of The Doctor." The Doctor can "see" or "feel" the presence of the woman he loves even when she's not really there.. River: How are you even doing that? I'm not really here. The Doctor: You're always here to me, and I always listen and I can always see you..
Maybe he just knows Rose well enough to know how she would react to the message and thus where she'd be standing relative to him? It's supposed to be beautiful guys!
Doctors change and that is the norm of the time Lords, but I still can't face the fact that he was there for one season only. Also, if this isn't love, idk what is. Masterpiece! Fantastic!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Christopher Eccleston is my all time favourite doctor. And for all the Torchwood fans this is the episode where Rose absorbs the Tardis to help destroy the Daleks (god I love them aswell). Along the way she happens to resurrect Captain Jack...
i remember seeing it when it was first aired on bbc, i was 7 years old and just hearing him talking about the tardis dying slowly as the world moved on was so emotional
“Have a good life, do that for me”. That’s what he said. In the song ‘Song for Ten’ that plays later, there’s a line: “Have a good life, do it for me”. Just thought I’d share :)) 2:05
"Getting the companion to safety so he can pull suicidal stuff alone" is just generally something he does, tho. He was going to evacuate Donna in case he got killed in the Library (She ended up in the computer instead), there was this time he deiberately started an argument with Peri/ almost threw her out of the TARDIS so he could use it to ram a missile without endangering her, and there's probably further examples if you look for them. I suppose he doesn't want them to go down with him, but knows they'd insist on loyally staying with him if he outright told them.
I just finished watching series 1 and it's my first time watching Doctor Who and the Ninth Doctor now holds a special place in my heart as my favorite Doctor right now. I'll miss him.
I read an article recently. Christopher Eccleston published an Autobiography. He said that he's always struggled with mental health and that his time on Doctor Who wasn't kind to him. He wasn't very well throughout Series 1 and after the way some of the executives treated him, he had lost his confidence as an actor and it took him until Lennon Naked did he begin to believe himself again. I really feel for him and I'm so disappointed that his memory of Doctor Who was left this way. Despite being sent the script for The Day of the Doctor, he wouldn't come back. And when you know how it affected his life, you can't blame him. I would only hope he'd know that he was my hero. He was THE hero. David Tennant may have been my Doctor, but he wasn't the man who took my imagination on the trip of a lifetime, Eccleston was. And myself and lots of us wouldn't be here without him.
OMG the first time I saw this I honestly cried its was so sad and beautiful it hurst me that Christoph Ecilsten thought he’s role in Doctor Who was the worst when really it was the greatest

@@ecthox-1mork909 If you haven't watched those episodes yet, accept an advice: DO NOT (unless you want any remaining bond between you and Doctor Who not only broken but violently bastardeised too)
Best finale yet.
Just re- watched it a few days ago, and it is a true masterpiece.
I can undo that statement in six words. Just six.
"I think you need a Doctor."
VividSauce I don't want to go
Only Eccleston could pull off that line.
Sad's Channel that was tennants line
I was talking about "I think you need a Doctor" lol
To this day:
The greatest series finale.
The greatest soundtrack.
The greatest Doctor.
The greatest performance.
Eccleston was simply fantastic.
Absolutely fantastic lol
far better than 2020 Doctor who god awful
Yes, yes he was.
You got everything but soundtrack wrong but it's all still amazing
Yes he was ; he will Always be My Doctor 💕
Did anyone else notice that the hologram also lost the slightly static-y voice it had had seconds ago after it turned?
Me
Cicily S I always took it as the doctor ending the program and broadcasting live to Rose. It explains why he turned to look at her at the end.
Cicily S that was supposed to happen
"have a good life, do that for me rose, have a fantastic life"
This line hits so much differently when I saw this episode almost a decade ago.
Some of the best acting is without words
The "have a good life" bit gets me every time.
Imagine how heartbreaking it would have been if the Doctor had rigged the door to permanently fuse shut the second Rose exited it so as to prevent her from attempting to save him...
Maybe subconsciously he wanted her to save him!? X
... or didn't think somebody would ever be able to fly his vehicle. because well...
You have to be The Time Lord to fly TARDIS.
Well not really. Take a look a river. Shes not a timelord. But she is the Child of the Tardis so I suppose thats an exception.
I guess you're right but still - an exception
He couldn't predict (or didn't think about it back then) that somebody would open console to telepathically control Tardis
Anonim Anonimowy Yeah, he didn't think he could happen.
My favorite finale in Doctor Who to this day.
Jafninetyfour ii
Jafninetyfour doctor falls , Big Bang , heaven sent/ hell bent .
Hell of A bird doomsday, last of the time lords and stolen earth
Cant be, its the worse because 9 leaves
Mine Too! Underneath Time of The Doctor
"Take me back" -Rose Tyler, The Parting of ways AND Doomsday
Woah there satan
I love that it’s program 1. The drs first priority is and always will be his companions safety. Especially for him and Rose
This is the reason this was my favourite finale. No other episode ever puts the Doctor in a situations that is truly as hopeless, where there is no sign, no chance of victory without at least serious costs. God, I wish we get something like this again.
10th might be the best doctor, there's something about 9th that make me love every single episode with him
Well despite all the British girl fans, I absolutely hate David Tennant. His personality is like a complete joke. His face looks too goofy and comical for a time traveler accompanied by a dark past. Nine was perfect.
Nimo Kali I think you would find there's more fangirls for 11
Its because Nine only has one season, and since its the season that brought Doctor Who back to TV it makes his season that much more special.
kale That's not fair technically as Christopher Eccleston did the first Series and before that kids who were born in the 90s would've only heard references to Doctor Who in Pop Culture. Of course the ratings would be low for the first series as no one knew about it yet.
I used to like 10 more. But 9 ages better. As more time passes he becomes cannon.
Good thing no other companion accidentally set off emergency program 1 that was specifically designed for Rose.
Octo Plays He probably rerecords it every time he regenerates or gets a new companion
ClawedAsh: Or just recorded one of them when he was the First Doctor and the TARDIS just personalised them to the appropriate Doctor and companion...
Some Random Guy Yeah, that makes more sense
DANM HADS… It kills me when Rose starts screaming to be taken back.. because the next time to be taken back she can't come back..
I cried at this part and i don't cry...often
I cried too :(
When Rose comes back, with the heart of the Tardis in her, and kills all the Daliks; THAT is AWESOME!!!!
the effects are SO much better than they are now
This is why Christopher Eccleston is my favourite doctor of the nu-who doctors.
+Owen Dean he doesn't see it as a low point at all, he has said he loved the role and enjoyed making the series he just wants to keep it varied and not just be know for one thing so doesn't talk about it much
turquoiseapple57 no man, he hated playing the Doctor.
Everything in this scene is incredible and Nine will always have a special place in my heart even more so than Ten though he's my favorite if that makes any sense haha
completely agree
***** Have you forgotten about Bad Wolf Bay? Even if you want to argue it was cut off, the producers have since confirmed the words left unsaid were I love you, even if that wasn't blatantly obvious anyway. No need to be in denial.
9 I absolutely love and adore. 💜💜💜 nine
But he and Ten were written by Davies to fall in love with her there's actual proof out there that he said it
I'm assuming people forgot Journey's End where the Doctor full on kisses Rose. It may have been the half human one but the same man still
I know this sounds weird, but is it weird that I was fascinated by the editing for season 1? I mean, it held the feel of classic, but still felt new.
Somehow the CGI was worse on the first few episodes of season 2 than 1 but maybe that's just my bias bc I was sad about Christopher leaving too ;-;
I agree. somehow though the materlisation effect for the TARDIS started off really great in series 1 and then it started to worsen to just a fade effect by the later series.
this is why the ninth doctor is the best doctor ever😪😔😀 i watched this so many times i memorized the speech😀😔
same
You can really see the emotion in his posture just before he turns around and pulls out the sonic to send her back.
"How are you even doing that… I'm not really here." "You're always here to me, and I always listen, and I can always see you." The Doctor was doing that before he did it with River.
I really miss you,Chris.
The head turn still gets me
he has the most principals of any actor ive ever heard of. he wasnt in the anniversary special because he refused to be a part of the destruction and nullification of the ninth doctors storyline because all his episodes had to do with the time war and how the doctors was dealing with his guilt but the time war was basically erased from doctor who universe history so he told moffat to shove it. moffat put the nail in the coffin for RTD's four seasons. think about it. he literally changed everything that was new about new who and acted like he was the one who revived the series. the tardis, the logo, the music, the doctor, the companion, the intro and the only thing of RTD's that was left was the time war and he managed to erase that too. he erased all those good moments for the ninth doctor, like the "there was a war and we lost" line basically never happened because there was no war, "My planet's gone. It's dead. It burned, like the Earth" never happened either. that was my favorite moment for rose and the doctor when she realizes why he took her on the worse date ever to watch her planet burn and when she realized jackie has been dead for 5 billion years and she understood why he had to show her all this. moffat ruins everything. ugh why wont he just leave! respect to eccleston for calling moffat out on his shit. respect to him for calling everyone out on their shit. the man has principal.
a way to fix it is have the doctors (11 and 10) go back to try and fix it before realising that they cant and with war (or 9 if he got interested by this) they kill gallafrey sure it would be somber and depressing but that's just life maybe they save 1 time-lord (ace after being dropped of by 7 all those years ago preferably) and they become a companion to capaldis doctor
then they can be happy that their are now 3 time-people in the universe (also to explain regeneration the 3 doctors ending the time war instead of just one causes a small rip in time happens going into smith or maybe 3 tardises leaving at a close time does a similar thing)
That is her main principle."
Third, Doctor Who has been, and always will be about, change.
The answer would probably be "Yes"
without any elaboration
Truly one of the best. Christoper was so good. Heartbreaking every time.
This speech always hits me in the feels
BEST series ever. Love series 1... Sad to think it is nearly 10, wish i could go back to 2005 and see this series for the first time ever and know this was amazing and there won't be a better series than 1, followed by 2.
It's weird to think I was only five years old.
Best soundtrack
Best companion
9 & 10 by far the best
Best companion family
Best stories
The best doctor
Fantastic
I really miss Murray Gold. His music became a huge staple of Doctor Who.
Completely agree.
Murray Gold's soundtrack was as defining to New Who as John William's music is to Star Wars, and while Segun Akinola's music for Series 11/12 is fine it just never captures the emotion of a scene in a way that Murray Gold often did.
He’s back I think
her desperation breaks my heart every single time!!
Eccleston truly was the greatest Doctor of them all. Sad we only got one season with him but still blessed we got that season to begin with.
Clara lives in the same block of flats as Rose and the Doctor sends her back home...twice, just a couple links to 9 and Rose :)
Nine is a MUST!
Doctor who was so good back then
Only 1 series and the mark that Eccleston left on the show just speaks volumes about how good he was.
Nine is the most underrated doctor In my opinion
Yes
Nine's last stand and comfortably one of his best.
I miss 9.
Eccleston was my first doctor and one of the best in my opinion. Wish he would have stayed longer or come back for the 50th.
9 may not be in my top 3...but his era sticks in my mind like glue. Even after watching all of 1 to 13. There is something about 9 thats just...its like his speech in the first episode about feeling the rotation of the planet....its stunning in a way.
Where do you see the classic episodes though? (preferably without having to pay to Disney)

I would be lying if I said this scene didn't make me cry
Have a fantastic life everyone.
#9 had the most expressive eyes. he didn't have to say a word or even move. his eyes told the story. I'm an 11 fan through and through, but 9's eyes forever imprinted him in my top 3.
so sad ugh... this always broke my heart he gave up the tardis and her so she could live
Doctor who at this stage was like a pandora's box slightly open. RTD has a lot of faults but he knew how to keep everything slightly open. The raw emotion of this scene can't be matched by everything after with the awful Chiball
What if Rose stayed so that he was facing her? That head turn would have been very awkward XD
Wibbly wobbly...timey wimey...stuff lol X
He was awesome. I loved Christopher. He was my first Doctor.
One of the most amazing episodes I`ve ever seen :O
The Parting of The Ways (parts 1 and 2) are the best Dr Who episodes since its return IMO.
When he turns his head to finish his speech, how does he know exactly where Rose is standing? It's supposed to be a recorded message.
Magic.
I always saw it as he knew rose so well he knew shed be banging on the door to get out and then run to the controls before the message ended, so he looked where shed be standing
time travel
Well as we see in "The Name of The Doctor." The Doctor can "see" or "feel" the presence of the woman he loves even when she's not really there..
River: How are you even doing that? I'm not really here.
The Doctor: You're always here to me, and I always listen and I can always see you..
Maybe he just knows Rose well enough to know how she would react to the message and thus where she'd be standing relative to him? It's supposed to be beautiful guys!
Watching this again brought a tear to my eyes.
I only wish the people in charge loved the show like RTD did.
I miss my favorite show.
Doctors change and that is the norm of the time Lords, but I still can't face the fact that he was there for one season only. Also, if this isn't love, idk what is. Masterpiece! Fantastic!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Number 9 has always been my favorite Doctor.
Whelp... I'm crying again...
Christopher Eccleston is my all time favourite doctor. And for all the Torchwood fans this is the episode where Rose absorbs the Tardis to help destroy the Daleks (god I love them aswell). Along the way she happens to resurrect Captain Jack...
I remember watching this episode on PBS and crying like a baby. Chris is a very underrated Dr Who.
i remember seeing it when it was first aired on bbc, i was 7 years old and just hearing him talking about the tardis dying slowly as the world moved on was so emotional
These are the classic doctor who episodes, the once that give you the goosebumps. It's not the same with the current episodes :(
+Nathan Sutcliffe "classic"
+Nathan Sutcliffe classic?
+Jon Smith yes, Doctor who doesn't have that same vibe anymore
“Have a good life, do that for me”. That’s what he said. In the song ‘Song for Ten’ that plays later, there’s a line: “Have a good life, do it for me”. Just thought I’d share :)) 2:05
This reminded me a lot of what 11 did to Clara.
Of course! 11 did the same thing and they both found their ways back. I love those clever girls (:
yes very true, i do prefer this over clara. I feel billie just gives a better performance to the point where i feel like i want to cry for Rose. (:
"Getting the companion to safety so he can pull suicidal stuff alone" is just generally something he does, tho.
He was going to evacuate Donna in case he got killed in the Library (She ended up in the computer instead), there was this time he deiberately started an argument with Peri/ almost threw her out of the TARDIS so he could use it to ram a missile without endangering her, and there's probably further examples if you look for them.
I suppose he doesn't want them to go down with him, but knows they'd insist on loyally staying with him if he outright told them.
Roanna More like that reminded you of what 9 done to Rose.
I just finished watching series 1 and it's my first time watching Doctor Who and the Ninth Doctor now holds a special place in my heart as my favorite Doctor right now. I'll miss him.
The greatest plot twist in all of Doctor Who series 1 rebooted
One of the best, if not the best, messages from the Doctor to his companion.
i like how at the end emergency programme 1 act7ally knew she was standing to it's right
+TimeAgent Jaki Left... :P
That was Nine live broadcasting, not the recording anymore.
He loved her so much :'(
OMG the first time I saw this I honestly cried its was so sad and beautiful it hurst me that Christoph Ecilsten thought he’s role in Doctor Who was the worst when really it was the greatest
2:22 Rose here when she loses the doctor "Bring me back"
Rose in Doomsday when she loses the doctor "Bring me back"
A really nice parallel not many people notice!
Have a good life, have a fantastic life. Oh, it still makes me cry.

1:39 he is talking about a strong and unsurvivable race and while the doctor is at the centre of the screen the wall behind him the tardis one looks like a dalek shell
I’ve long thought the Doctor needs only one companion. The flow the series works sooo much better.
Right in the feels
