This is the best explanation I have seen with proper positioning for shoulders, very easy for me to understand. Thank you, this has helped me in my early stages of practice. Much appreciated 😀
I started doing yoga recently and this is so very well explained, I really do appreciate it, will be taking note to do all steps you mentioned. Thank you, 🤗🙏🌹
Hi! Is this also for men? I am a man and tried this lesson with my mother-in-law but it was brutal! I could not manage at all in the lesson when my arms just failed and my MIL told me to go and rest. My MIL did full lesson powerfully and she does lots and lots of chaturanga everyday! Her arms, shoulder, back, core is rock hard muscles, she have unbeatable strength and endless endurance! I feel really low and very defeated 😔

So many things to remember when you're moving the whole time while doing it... So helpful though, I need to build strength in my upper body... I'm so weak in my shoulders and arms
Respected Mam, while going down in chaturanga , do v hv to give equal weight on pointing finger or Ball of the Pointing Finger ,? Please guide me. 🙏🙏 Thank u so much .....as your video is best in details 👌👌👌
Hi, thank you for your lovely explained videos. I saw your video about the anterior pelvic tilt and it helped me greatly. May you please help me to know how can I do chaturanga with the anterior pelvic tilt?... I am doing the correcting poses that I had from your video about the anterior tilt. When I do the ashtanga or Vinyasa yoga, I feel horrible pain in my lower back badly. I think it's because of the part of chaturanga and upward facing dog. What do you think? What is your advice? Thank you in advance 👑🙏✨🌻👼🌱🌞👑
Thank you so much for your video. What am I doing incorrectly if my wrists are hurting? I am really trying to put the pressure on my upper fingers and index fingers, but still having issues with my wrists
It's not really a tuck of the pelvis though. I know because my pelvis is kinda tucked under regularly and I feel core lifted/supported/lighter by actually letting the pelvis untuck and bringing the thighs back deeper into the hip and using the feet/legs to extend the lower body as the upper body extends the other way leading with the chest, yes.
I am working on the beginner version (in other poses I'm more advanced so it drives me nuts that I can't make this transition from plank). Curious, can the toes be tucked under or flat? Shins raised? Does one option provide more stability? Thank you for the terrific explanation. You make it look so easy. Green with envy.
It's so tough - don't beat yourself up! I think as you lower down to Chaturanga it's good to have your toes flexed, but then you roll over the toes into Upward-Facing-Dog, so you're on the tops of your feet and toes are pointed. When I teach beginners, sometimes I say lower down all the way to the floor in Chaturanga (so shins on the mat) and then roll forwards into Upward Dog and pick your shins back up by engaging the legs. Then gradually as they build strength, try to keep your shins off the mat the whole time! Does that help?
Very helpful and easy to follow explanation. Thank you very much!
I think I've seen thousands videos about chaturanga, but this is the most helpful so THANKS A LOT ♥️ Namaste!

Hi Bonnie, I have a few videos coming out over the next couple of weeks about wrist safety - keep an eye out for those I think they'll help!
Dear ,how can I overcome Backpain, shivering hands during this practice
