They seem to maybe imply it or flirt with the idea but then never commit to any other position that he actually did The most obvious reason that he couldn’t have did it would be the fact the he is still allowed to operate in the CIA and even be in the same room as the president (Raegan) in BOCW
@@dariusdafigga Considering that JFK embarrassed the Soviets during the Cuban missile crisis and that Lee Harvey Oswald was associated with the communist party which had ties to the soviet union, it's very likely that they had JFK killed. @@phallicusoblonguswell the simplest explanation would be he’s just remembering the mechanics for modern warfare where you do have animation that put on the suppressor
@@redwiltshire1816 That isn't the simplest explanation because it requires assuming the accuracy of recall and the accuracy of memory encoding of an individual you do not know. The simplest explanation will always be an event that is likely to happen in-game, which in this case is the accidentally picking up a weapon on the multiplayer map. If you walk over a pickup icon and use the interact button, you can sometimes pick up the weapon before the pick-up prompt even pops up.
@ ah yes because the probability of picking up a gun on accident that just so happens to look exactly like yours attachments camo and all and mistake that for a feature is more than mistaking the silencer you can put on in another game that’s also called call of duty and looks exactly like call of duty, by your logic mine would be more likely.
Tulsa more than likely is supposed to be a mission before Loose ends or it could've been an early version of the enemy of my enemy, as it sounds like Shepard was feeding 141s location to Russian special forces, something that would follow the campaign storyline as we know it.
No its from future warfare. The mission was found on a dev kit idk if it says on this video or another but it's definitely from future warfare but it's built from mw2s assets
@@stuartkitchen7688 you're misunderstanding. The reason it's in future warfare is because future warfare was built on MW2 assets. I feel mason being the assassin is pretty much confirmed, it's HEAVILY hinted at to the point of there's nothing really to discuss? I mean if it was a background clue or off hand comment sure it'd be skeptical. But the fact they made JFK slow down and we see the aftermath of assassination AND MASON literally points a gun, and a whole ass cutscene at the end of the game showing he was there and eerie music plays over it. I mean how many times do they need to hammer it in? Mason did it.
The new CW/BO6 "writers" are gonna hit us over the head with it for the next 6 seasons like how they suddenly forgot Hudson was the CIA mole not the new CIA guy in 6 (he's the actual mole not adler, but it's supposed to be Hudson guess the new "writers" never really played bo1 or 2)
Yeah, him calling this a fan theory was a big reach, the game writers literally meant for it to be like that, they hint at it all throughout the game, it's just not explicitly shown. It is a really cool topic to discuss and it's very eerie how it's hinted that Mason was made to assassinate his own president unbeknownst to him. Very dark and cool, just totally not a fan theory

Another thing about connecting the black ops franchise with the reboot modern warfare franchise is how MW3 (2023) takes place in 2023 and that’s only 2 years from 2025 which was the year black ops 2 took place, yet the technology in MW3 is NOTHING like the technology in black ops 2.
1:07:45 the roof breaking in kino when you turn on the power is the nova crawlers. You can see them climbing down the walls from the roofs when they spawn in.
the narritive director left the studio after mw2019 thats why the overall storyline collapsed, the current narritives scrapped everything what was planned with Alex, Hadir, Zakhaev and Al Qatala out of the main storyline...
That part about call of duty being military propaganda is interesting and it reminds me of how the marine corps used doom 1993 as a training sim for their marines. Like they contacted ID software and asked them make a version of Doom 1993 called marine Doom. In fact you can actually play the wad for marine Doom on the console ports for Doom 1993.
I think it's kind of half true. It doesn't have an inherently antiwar message and I know people who joined the military partly due to COD but it's also Call of Duty. I don't expect Black Ops to cover the My Lai massacre or Modern Warfare to cover the Highway of Death, though I do know of the controversy about in the 2019 game. This isn't Spec Ops: The Line or other games that try to deconstruct the military shooter. It's the video game equivalent of a crappy popcorn flick.
@@roughrambo1000000 Basically every CoD game gives thanks to the US Military for giving them support for development - using references and things like that. Not to mention the US Army’s Esports team and their whole effort to influence teens/young adults into wanting to join the military. The government pays Activision a _lot_ of money to paint the US in a good light, which is why they’re never technically the villain in their games, and why you’ll never actually fight against American soldiers, or play as a bad guy anymore. At least in the campaign, where it matters. It’s not half-true, it’s THE truth.

1:08:02 - kino der toten's map layout resembles an opera house that got retrofitted into a movie theater, complete with stage curtains and lighting rafters. whenever the opera house was first built, in stage-plays/musical theatre, there probably would have been an entire platform up there serving multiple purposes... 1) instead of trying to bring in a crane or giant ladder when hoisting up (heavy) lights into the sky (and assuming it was built 1920s or so, this would have been before they had motorized scissor-lifts), they would just go around back and use that door, 2) in theatre productions where they have two-story sets and backdrops built and extended to the back, this would be one of the stage entrances for talent to enter (such as a person suddenly floating down from the "sky", or spontaneously appearing on a second story window), and 3) it also counts as a fire exit. when the opera house turned into a movie theatre proper, they would have torn down the platform and blockaded the door, potentially even sealing up the other side.
1:31:04 it's a glitch, it's because he's considered out of bounds by the game so it kills you like in the campaign, you technically don't die in zombies.
mason actually killed jfk in that “hallucination” and then everything after that scene is just a reenactment so mason doesn’t lose his marbles and his brain implodes, on some 51st date type shit. trust me bro, i’ve researched.
The only possible correlation between aiming in game and aiming in real life would be like, maybe the ability to recognize sight pictures and pick out targets. Maybe.
Zombies is actually the best lens to view the timeline/multiverse shenanigans through. In the final DLC map of BO4, the characters destroy the multiverse, creating a single new universe. Samantha Maxis and the child version of Richtofen were the only things that walked through the portal into the new universe. As they both exist in the new timeline, this could explain why the universes are connected. It’s important to note that the original zombies timeline starting in WaW can’t exist within the Black Ops timeline. BO2-BO4 can’t exist since the earth is nuked in the final DLC map of BO1 while those games take place in the future. The reason that WaW and Black Ops can seemingly fit into the new continuity with the MW reboots is because BO4. Because the zombies timeline and multiverses played in a loop, it makes sense as to why the continuity was mostly the same up to a point. Richtofen and the location of one of the release BO6 zombies maps are shown in the final MWZ cutscenes. Which it has already been shown to us that MWZ was connected to the MW3 campaign. Seems like the plan from Activision was to streamline the games into being connected. Likely inspired by the MCU.
1:41:20 hear's background song switch to a Nightwish song, man and the timing is nice too with what's being said in the video at that time. I absolutely love these videos, continue making them!
imagine were playing as mason in BO1, we have to assassinate a russian leader. The second you shoot him, woods breaks in and briefly snaps him out of it, revealing what you thought was a lokcation in russia, was actually in the states, and you just shot JFK
1:04:10 the 8 step escape plan actually appears in zombies before that theory reddit post that is shown on screen about BO3 zombies being the same steps. On the final BO2 zombies map origins as you complete each step of the easter egg, if you have an active zombie blood power up you can hear Samantha say the name of each step in a demonic voice when the previous step is completed.
Call of Duty’s modern timeline is so bad, seasonal story cutscenes ruined it. They just randomly reveal that certain characters are alive/even exist at all. Also them trying to connect Zombies to Warzone/Campaign is just plain stupid, zombies has always been its own thing and making the players play all of the modes to understand the story is very dumb
They're not Canon ffs stop being dumb. They've confirmed they're dead and MP takes place before campaign. Nobody complains when black ops does it but as soon as mw does stuff like that all of a sudden everybody has a problem with it. Black ops CW literally brought back like 3 or 4 dead characters in MP
@@stuartkitchen7688 Who did they bring back in Cold War? Bo6 isn’t even out yet, so how would you know if those Cold War revivals are confirmed or not? Alex and Graves returned in MP cutscenes and the explanation in the campaign literally doesn’t exist, only explanation we get is “I wasn’t in that Tank” like bro what? Basically what I’m saying is that they are canon and that them being canon is dumb 😭
From memory the writer for Black Ops 1 and World at War Zombies left before Black Ops 2 thus why those two games feel confusing in the timeline because the new writer had to basically reboot a story that went unfinished.
No, Zielinski was there from WAW to the end of BO2, he just wasn't involved with Mob of the Dead or Origins. Those were made by Blundell who took over completely starting with BO3. The reason BO2 felt sort of detached from the previous games is because it basically launched unfinished (development wise) and they didn't have the time needed to make the launch maps how they wanted
Yeah for the ghost things in mw there was a glitch that makes a player weaponless I remember it being called the zombie glitch. Also I thiiink the reason the player wasn’t getting hurt when shot was the game set to headshots only
What do you mean he "randomly has a prosthetic leg" he was literally blown up. I'm sure he tried to escape and didn't just sit there waiting to die. He could be this universes version of roach. Don't forget his operator bio in MP talked bout how his real name is special and it might be someone we'd know from the OG series. They haven't even mentioned it since MW19 I don't think but still. He looks like a Gary sanderson tbh.
A little over looked detail of Campaign Connections to Zombies in BO2. In the map Die Rise, there are zombified SDC soldiers. The same SDC Chinese soldiers from BO2 Campaign and MP. Maybe the campaign story did play out in WaW to BO2 until the Moon Rockets hit the earth, thats where the biggest fork comes into play.
Taking off the silencer I’m pretty sure you were playing the campaign because I’m pretty sure I’ve had that happen with one of the suppressed guns on the snow mountain map in campaign
Did you not remember that Dragovich, when Mason was beating him up at the end of the game, they had this conversation: " You tried to make me kill my own President! " - " Hah.... 'Tried'? "
Ikr. These guys fundamentally don't understand that entire sub-plotline in BO1. Then they go on to suggest that Treyarch might have been making Mason the game counterpart to the real life Oswald? Absolutely not! You can literally see pictures of Oswald behind Kennedy in the Pentagon level and there's a part of the game where they say "Oswald is compromised." It's VERY VERY clear that Mason takes part in the Kennedy assassination. It's not a "fan theory," it's literally the story.
As far as the unaliving yourself in last stand, I'm almost certain that in the WaW campaign if any enemy went into to last stand they would preform the animation if you left them alone.
The makarov supressor memory might have been spliced from Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, as that game was that generation and you could do that. Also with the dbno thing, it was from a popular game around that time but and I definitely remember the screen saying ‘take the easy way out’ but I don’t think it way CoD, maybe BF?
Imagination is a crazy thing. I remember the cowards way out, but I think we get so emotionally connected that we fill in the blanks where our brains say this must be how it was. So crazy.
CoD WaW sniping at Stalingrad is right out of Enemy at the Gates, hence the mannequins. Seeing how they were fighting in a department store in the motion picture. At least that's my take on it. Love WWII

49:05 something similar happens in MW2 too with the spec ops missions co_hunted/overwatch, which takes the map from the CoD4 mission hunted. In the farmer house (the one where they shoot the farmer) there's an extra room in MW2 that's locked with a door in CoD4.
I didn’t know enough about gaming back in the day so i just bought waw for my wii instead of buying a better console😂. My 12 year old self absolutely ran those lobbies though with the wii remote and nunchuck. That first clip brought back so many memories. L take on skill based matchmaking bro. I'll use your same lebron analogy and flip it on you. Imagine every time Lebron wants to play basketball it can only be against the 2017 Golden State Warriors. No pickup with his family or friends, no summer league, olympics, nothing. Only the absolute hardest opponent every time. Then imagine his teammates shuffled every game and the leagues purposely put the worst players in his league on his team. Thats the problem with sbmm. Not that people "dont want to play against their skill level" Every game is the same. Might as well be difficult bots youre playing.
Sierra 3-2 could be the voice actor for Griggs, just as a different character. I can't remember his full name but he is or was a developer as late as 2019. Considering Ghosts VA is also Gaz, I wouldn't find it to be a leap that he'd have a new role too. This is especially in consideration of his reference to Soap. The subtitles seem to write 'So' but that's definitely 'Soap'. 'Keep comms chatter to a minimum" and the initial lines from 'Griggs' sounds like he and Soap are working with someone, potentially armour or a separate unit in an urban environment, like Tulsa Oklahoma. The lines don't sound like they'd be a stealth mission, they sound more like the tone of 'War Pig' from Call Of Duty 4, or 'Honey Badger' from MW2. Perhaps having a mission like 'Wolverines!' already showed the invasion in a domestic setting well enough that perhaps it wasn't needed. Or maybe the presence of Soap indicates TF 141 were fighting in the same way Sandman and his team fight through New York in MW3. The presence of english evacuation warnings tell me that it wouldn't have been a joint mission in the beginning of the campaign, but probably in Act II. Could also be that the actor is filling the placeholder, but it seems a lot better quality than usual placeholders, and it just sounds like Griggs to me. Also, the artbook that came with the hardened edition of MW2 features concept art of the motorcycle sequence.
As for the writing on the walls in zombies, from waw-bo4 that was all Dr Monty (who was introduced in bo3 and essentially plays god except he isn’t totally nice) like he made the perk machines and shit too
I cant believe i finally connected the dots that rocketsloth and rocketelijah who does Animal Crossing content is the same person 🤣 Halo and AC are 2 of my favorite game franchises as well!!
Not talking exclusively about COD While SBM was in older games, IMO It felt like it was a lot more balanced back in the day. Instead of just taking into consideration of the results of one game of Team Deathmatch, it felt like it was taking into consideration multiple matches and slowly put a player into different increasing skill levels based on overall performance in those matches. Where nowadays if you get MVP in one match SBM will put in games with players way above your skill level.
I did think that the sign was added in the second version of standoff glad you cleared that up, maybe metas have just changed and the sign interferes like nade spamming and sniping
For the one about rubbing the grenade off, if you stood in a way to which the grenade clipped through the wall, it would not kill you, so someone might have rubbed against a wall and it clipped through without them knowing
22:45 after playing BO6 campaign, this is one missions where you are "hallucinating" zombies bc of the bioweapon your trying to secure and stop, so maybe theyre going to use that as a way to tie zombies into campaign, which is dumb af imo, just keep it all seperate.

1:0426 i think asend from darkness could be a refrence to zombies EE. im abhorrently aware that nach doesn't have an EE but the ascend from darkness as you stated was in the BO1 prison mission as your taking the steps to EWSCAPE. its always been universally acquitted that doing the EE is as close to beating zombies. to the point where alot of the EE throughout CoD have you leaving the 'universe' or taking the steps to do so. i fkn love CoD zombies lure
As a veteran of CoD mobile, to make sense the mobile story is to forget any detail from the main CoD (like age or which universe/game they from) and just accept that every character in CoD universe exist there. Mobile world is quite advance and holy they are messed up too... It's complicated but intresting Reaper Unit from BO3 is so common that even it's used publicly
For 16:49, WaW IS the start of the Zombies storyline, at first it was only meant as a easter egg for those players who beat the game, but it became popular so they decided to release another map, Verrückt, with John Banana, “Tank” Dempsey, Smokey and Paxton “Gunner” Ridge, in storyline they are here to rescue an OSS operative named Peter Mcain, he’s already fled to Shin No Numa(The next map) in which Dempsey is captured while everyone else dies(if i remember)
Then in the next map, Shi No Numa, we are introduced to Nikolai, Takeo, and Richtofen while we are reintroduced to Dempsey after his capture, there in timeline reason for being there is for Richtofen’s diary after it was taken from him, then he goes to Der Riese to teleport to the moon but fails as someone overcharged the Matter Transference Device with the Wanderwaffe, sending them to the 1960s
There are a lot of weird things about MW2's story that are open-ended and unsolved, like how the HVI that was never really explained, and Makarov and Shepherd had a couple weird implied dealings, but I don't think Shepherd originally wanted to kill TF141. Soap basically had full trust in him, Ghost was moody and edgy and made some comments here and there but still always followed orders and went along with whatever Shepherd and Soap told him to do, and it didn't seem like TF141 was questioning Shepherd's motives and orders. It was only when Price got back in action that Shepherd started to eliminate them. Immediately after Price was back in action he came up with this grand plan to end the war in America by using a nuke as an EMP, but Shepherd didn't really care about the homefront really and mostly just wanted to find and kill Makarov (he even said something along the lines of "DC has been burnt down before, we can rebuild.") He told Price to drop it and Price in response hung up on him, disobeyed orders, brought TF141's best operatives along with him on his mission, lied to them about what the operation was (I'm pretty sure everyone thought that they were just disabling the nuclear submarine, not launching a nuke,) and blew up a warhead right above DC. This somehow worked out perfectly, but it showed Shepherd that he didn't have control over his task force anymore, Price basically did. And if Price found out about all the details involving Joseph Allen and Makarov, he probably would've been able to piece together that Shepherd was a treacherous war mongering psycho. On top of that, Shepherd went into this war for glory and to be a hero, and Price stole his glory. Shepherd didn't give America the extra help to win in DC, Price did. After Price did that Shepherd got a blank check, so he didn't even need his task force anymore. He essentially had infinite money and already was either forming or had strong relations with Shadow Company, which was wayyyy more morally flexible than his task force. There's also all of the crazy stuff that Shepherd said in the cut MW2 ending about sponsoring the Ultranationalists before losing control of the situation.
Comments around 22:00 tying zombies into the campaign timeline was spot on. If you haven't played BO6 trailer yet, do it and reflect on that section lmao

14:01 my guess is that soap is the main character you’re playing as. Perhaps the mission took place as an attempt at being covert gets drastically changed as the enemies discover where you are. Perhaps soap and his companion are going through the streets of tulsa undercover with a heli as coms. As we get discovered we’re fighting through the streets of tulsa looking for an evac point. We’re stuck in a house but eventually evac. Companion gives us shit for leaving, etc. that being said everything is speculative, im not sure how this would’ve tied into both the S.a.s storyline and the american homefront subplot
I cant remember the map but on the night time castle map, i decided to play with 9 friendly bots and one enemy bot and the very first spawn the enemy spawned as a zombie with the animations. Could never ever recreate it. If the mandela effect happens, and to humor the theory weve felt, why does it make the current universe just uglier? I get we gotta evolve and get stronger but man, i wanna have fun. This one sucks.
With the evacuation order voicelines and how one of the soldiers is referred to as “Sierra 3-2,” it makes me think it takes place in the US, during the invasion. My guess is that it was meant to take place before Loose Ends or after The Hornet’s Nest - when the 141 would come back to the US and help fight off the invasion or something.

Oh yeah and the reason Arthur is in that painting is because he’s technically a time traveler and originally was from a medieval era where he served under the Wolf king who’s had an entire mini quest on Der Eisendrache for the Wolf Bow.:)
Bundell also said sometimes the eyes really don’t mean anything, and people are just trying to make sense of something that has no meaning

The characters they reference in the voice clips wouldn't make any sense whatsoever.
Im pretty sure for the shadow portrait in kino it was confirmed to be primis nikolai in bo4 classified
Yeah it was
I feel mason being the assassin is pretty much confirmed, it's HEAVILY hinted at to the point of there's nothing really to discuss? I mean if it was a background clue or off hand comment sure it'd be skeptical. But the fact they made JFK slow down and we see the aftermath of assassination AND MASON literally points a gun, and a whole ass cutscene at the end of the game showing he was there and eerie music plays over it. I mean how many times do they need to hammer it in? Mason did it.
The new CW/BO6 "writers" are gonna hit us over the head with it for the next 6 seasons like how they suddenly forgot Hudson was the CIA mole not the new CIA guy in 6 (he's the actual mole not adler, but it's supposed to be Hudson guess the new "writers" never really played bo1 or 2)
Not to mention that when Mason is beating Dragovich's ass and he says "you tried to make me kill my president" Dragovich laughs and says "tried?"
@@stuartkitchen7688 Hudson was never the mole what are you talking about?
Yeah, him calling this a fan theory was a big reach, the game writers literally meant for it to be like that, they hint at it all throughout the game, it's just not explicitly shown. It is a really cool topic to discuss and it's very eerie how it's hinted that Mason was made to assassinate his own president unbeknownst to him. Very dark and cool, just totally not a fan theory

Another thing about connecting the black ops franchise with the reboot modern warfare franchise is how MW3 (2023) takes place in 2023 and that’s only 2 years from 2025 which was the year black ops 2 took place, yet the technology in MW3 is NOTHING like the technology in black ops 2.

the narritive director left the studio after mw2019 thats why the overall storyline collapsed, the current narritives scrapped everything what was planned with Alex, Hadir, Zakhaev and Al Qatala out of the main storyline...
Wondered why they stopped hinting at Alex's real name. I still think he's the new Roach or could be used as a Joseph Allen.
Saved by the helicopter in zombies was ACTUALLY from Medal of Honor: Rising Sun. The memories possibly got mixed from that kid
Love how 90% of these boils down to "you were a child, your brain fabricated that from another (yet similar) game"
Nothing like a multi hour long cod history video after a long day
That part about call of duty being military propaganda is interesting and it reminds me of how the marine corps used doom 1993 as a training sim for their marines.
Extinction would be perfect for the DMZ mode MWZ was pretty much exactly like extinction but with zombies

Treyarch made one of the golden Eye remakes/remasters I think so possibly

He definitely didn’t kill him in the hallucination. The cia would either kill him on the spot, or at least wouldn’t let him work
Does anyone remember when they removed favela from OG mw2 for like a month?
Oh yeah lol
yeah wasnt that like years after it came out too?
1:41:20 hear's background song switch to a Nightwish song, man and the timing is nice too with what's being said in the video at that time.

imagine were playing as mason in BO1, we have to assassinate a russian leader.
These guys are either younger than me or they're not doing any research. Like some of these games were made when the analog age was still around.
Thanks for putting all this work together for us, mystery media is always fun
I played the crap outta world at war on the wii, I can confirm there was definitely no zombies. It broke my heart.

49:05 something similar happens in MW2 too with the spec ops missions co_hunted/overwatch, which takes the map from the CoD4 mission hunted.
In the farmer house (the one where they shoot the farmer) there's an extra room in MW2 that's locked with a door in CoD4.

It's the manipulation that's the issue. I don't want the game to decide if I'm gonna win or lose..
Completely agree with you. That’s exactly what I was saying to myself.

It's complicated but intresting
Reaper Unit from BO3 is so common that even it's used publicly
I have never experienced any of these Mandela effects. Maybe I’m not a chosen one lmao.

The suppressor thing was in WW2 mighta mixed up but I do agree cod has a yuuuuuuuuge Mandela effect
