I think for voting economical knowledge and how country as a institution is functioning is mandatory. Many dont know about that and vote for wrong people thats catastrophy.
I love Britain. Went to visit London back in 2017 and Pink Floyd had a huge impact on it. Their music has always drawn me in and I just had to visit their country. This American will always love Pink Floyd
I can’t stop watching this like every single day at least once. Pink Floyd is like magic that I crave! Mesmerizing every single time. They are so special to me, it would take me hours to explain the ways. They have saved my life when I was at my lowest and I owe a lot to this spectacular band of genius. Any body else out there feel me on this? It’s so inexplicable to me, cause I just don’t have the words to place how they make me feel. Especially the soaring guitar, I am admittedly in LOVE with the amazingly talented David Gilmour 💚
It's like his voice was specifically created to match with the music he makes. It fits with the dreamy, smooth and ethereal vibes so perfectly. It just wouldn't work if he sounded like Tom Waits or something.
After being born with 2 ears, a brain, a mouth and what my colleagues claim “a soul” along with a masters and doctorates degree in Epistemology, I can indeed remove the the use of the words “one of” and officially declare the objective truth (to the most knowable and agreeable belief of what is “truth”) that David Gilmour is in fact, the greatest musician/composer/guitarist of all time. We are still doing conformational studies at the university, but we believe he will end in the top 100 human beings of all time.
For years I used to think why on Earth this song was not a part of P.U.L.S.E. Live, but now I see; when you get a masterpiece like that you don't try the odds. Let people always remember this song like this and I'm sure they always will.
When the backing singer goes high.. sends shivers.. This is a Masterpiece. There's Guitarist out there like Hendrix, Young etc classed as great guitarists but which i never understood why but when you hear Gilmour play solo's. He tells a story you can all relate to. He puts you in the moment. Is there a better performance then this from any other guitarist... I think not!!!
Same here! She NAILED that high A. Then David matches it SEAMLESSLY and carries the note as she fades out.. I listened in awe several times to that note hand-off.
Same here. I like the singers from the Pulse album but my favorite lineup is Margaret Taylor, Durga McBroom, and Rachel Fury. Wish I could have seen them live.
@@plantdesigns7889 I saw them from the nosebleeds in Cleveland. The camera should be on that little singer half the time. And Dave the rest, of course!
I am 77 years and still love this song. David Gilmour, Richard Wright, and Nick Mason, made this band continue to even greater heights. Gilmours solo guitar playing is outstanding perfection!🎸🎼🎹🎼🥁🎼

Huge respect for you Michael. I was a gas turbine engineer at RR. And physics is my favourite subject. Not that I understand all the complex mathematics and equations. But I love cosmology almost as much as I adore pink Floyd.
I started engineering in the fall of 1985, I was 18 years old, and when I asked about the dormitory of the polytechnic, I was told "the one from which you will hear Pink Floyd". Here I am at 55, already a grandfather, still listening to their songs.
Excellent point. I vividly remember listening to PK Dark Side of the Moon in my car, on my cassette player, thru my Jensen speakers in 1977. BTW, the car was a 1965 Chevelle 2 door station wagon. No A/C.

I'm 64 and first fell in love with the sounds of Pink Floyd in 1973. To this day... THIS SONG brings tears to my eyes The lyrics changed me 50 years ago and I never looked down upon a homeless person or a person in need throughout my life and I offer what I can. Floyd's legacy live on in so many Floyd fans both in their 70's and now new young generations are falling in love with the lyrics and sounds of Floyd, and David Gilmour carrying it onward. May Syd finally be at peace and he and Richard playing in eternal life.
I worked the evening shift at Montgomery Ward after my other nine to five job way back. I sold home theatre equipment. This entire concert was played on laser disc on the latest hifi components of the time on a constant loop. I never got sick of it.
I was born in 1995, I discovered pink floyd from my father, who is a huge fan. David Gilmour is a gift from nature, from a world nobody knows except him. He is a personification of Jesus, a man who can change your life in better through music. He speaks about love and pain through his music, teaching you that in life you have to love and stay in armony with the great gift of life given by God, even though sometimes life can stress you. Stay safe brothers and keep listening to real music.

This music is the soundtrack to my youth! I grew up with this music. It doesn't matter what the younger generation thinks. No one can take this creativity from us and there will never be this kind of music ever again because it was real, honest and from the soul! All our musical contemporaries are gone now. Just know that when you hear them on the radio they helped pave the way for every other type of music that followed. But the youth doesn't care. I miss those days of my youth.

In Britain 2023 its hard to say what makes me happy to be British.... But my god Pink Floyd fills me with pride
I love Britain. Went to visit London back in 2017 and Pink Floyd had a huge impact on it. Their music has always drawn me in and I just had to visit their country. This American will always love Pink Floyd
for some reason, Britain bred inexplicable amount of geniuses . especially in music, but in all art forms...be proud :)
Que envidia saludos desde chile .....
Certainly not the new dog laws.
You are rightfully proud, mate. Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.
Wow 8:20 folks, this man is a magician 🎩

Everyone knows David is a legendary guitarist, but his voice has this smooth, dusty, atmospheric quality that I think is just as beautiful.
This is the pure truth!
It was almost like he was born for his brand. Everything from the musical score to the vocals is perfect
It's like his voice was specifically created to match with the music he makes. It fits with the dreamy, smooth and ethereal vibes so perfectly. It just wouldn't work if he sounded like Tom Waits or something.

his guitar solo is EPIC!!!!!
Absolutely in one of the greatest bands ever.
I prefer these backing singers to the ones in the Pulse tour. Great voices, but the dance moves of the Pulse singers are OTT and distracting.
those same singers absolutely nailed Great Gig in the Sky on this tour as well
Spellbinding
He'll yeh l agree 👍 👌 💯 👏 😉 they and the loudest one she's excellent

I graduated in 1977 with engineering and physics degrees. My education was brutal at all levels. My career a blessing. This music got me through it all. God bless everyone that loves Pink Floyd. I can assure you it helped me through.
If transcending so much time doesn't distinguish good music from the truly great music, I don't know what does.
Huge respect for you Michael. I was a gas turbine engineer at RR. And physics is my favourite subject. Not that I understand all the complex mathematics and equations. But I love cosmology almost as much as I adore pink Floyd.

I've been listening to them since 1975. I'll never stop.
I wonder how many people have passed on listening to Pink Floyd grateful they get to experience such beautiful music.
