    Would be helpful if you provided links for products you talk about :) like the bamboo pads!
    The thing I found surprising was the Evian thermal water. I fell for this too🤣. Glad to know I can just use uhhhh WATER ahaha. Thank you for enlightening us. I appreciate that you have evolved and arent afraid to admit that some of these things (like the evian water or rose water) you used to use. Comes to show that after you researching more you over the years you have come to learn more things.

      @T R most water based cleansers have surfactants that are made to cleanse oil and residue, much like how dish soap can cut through grease on a pan. If the cleanser you are using is too gentle to remove makeup or sunscreen on its own, sure. But there’s plenty of cleansers that can provide a good deep cleanse without an oil cleanse first. Of course it all comes down to personal preference really.

    The rosewater and cotton pads were most surprising to me! Pouring out my bottle or rosewater and refilling with tap water now to use in my moisturizing routine. Regarding cleanser, I've tried micellar waters recently like Bioderma. Haven't been fully convinced. My fav cleanser is Niod low viscosity cleansing ester. So I guess it comes from oils, that's the texture, but does rinse off with water. It does leave like a film so I like to still follow with a drop of cerave cleanser. If I use micellar, and then put a bit of the Niod, I can still see the cotton pad going dirty. I need triple quantity of micellar compared to that one or maybe I am not using micellar correctly.. Also it melts away waterproof eye makeup and because it's thicker than water I can save cotton pads and just go with my hands. Do you have any thoughts or tried similar cleansers? I am also curious about those bamboo pads but I'm worried they won't come out very clean with waterproof mascaras? Thanks x

    Hi Olena! I was so impressed how equipped you are with skincare! When I looked for my facial cleanser, I always look for surfactant glutamic amino acid based and also polyethylene glycol (the ingredient starts with PEG- and number) the same as the active ingredient in Micellar water to remove makeup! Literally I double cleanse with my gentle but effective facial cleanser twice because I have super oily and acne prone skin and work mainly on my T-zone. How do you like that?

    Hi Olena! Thank you for this super helpful video! I love all of your content 💖 have you discussed facial rollers? I don’t currently use one. I stopped when my face started breaking out. I don’t think this was the major cause of the breakouts. I think my breakouts were from using facial oils, thinking I’d never heal, picking at my face, and not being consistent and patient with a skincare routine. Your skincare tips have literally changed my life and skin. Are facial rollers okay to use or should I get rid of it? Also should I be using an unscented laundry detergent when washing reusable bamboo pads? Can fragrances from detergents and fabric softeners irritate/inflame the face?

    • @OlenaBeley
      @OlenaBeley  4 роки тому +4

      SJ14 lol most people are low iron or even anemic because iron is wildly difficult to properly use... I used to be anemic for years and with clear skin. This theory is untrue. Start with your skincare routine - the world is not as scary a place as some people make it seem. ❤️

    What is hilarious to me is that the trend of messy brows nowadays requires gels to make them that way 😂 gels everywhere marketed to give you a boyish brow look (disheveled, long and thick brows)... but we ‘need’ a Gel to do so!? I wake up like that!😬
    On oil cleansers... when I spill oil on my counter cooking a delicious, unrestrictive meal...🤭 I use soap... not more oil to remove it. This trend has always had me scratching my head for the sake of the logic around it.
    Another great video Olena! Thank you, happy Sunday!🙏🏻✨❤️

      Ashlynn Kaplan lol exactly! They always come up with something to sell us - it’s our job to ask, “Do I really need this? Or do I think I need this because someone convinced me to?” ❤️❤️❤️

    I love all of your contents! Hearing you talk about bamboo cotton pads was exciting bc I had recently made the switch since you had talked about it before. It was a game changer. I love the pads and they are so convenient! I am currently using the water spray from your old videos. Only bought it once and still have plenty of it. Once I run out I will switch to a reusable water bottle spray using the filter water we have. I also liked you mentioning bath bombs. I have never been a fan of them and was glad someone else agreed with me! So much fragrance. I’m sensitive to those kinds of smells. Great video!
