I am always struggling with moisturizers that say they are for acne prone skin, but I continued to get pimples and extra oily skin and I knew something wasn't right. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I am trying your 3SMM right now and can't wait to see how it works. Now, I am a little confused about what the difference is between adding actives to dry skin and the 2nd step of the 3SMM...I'm not sure what to do!! Lol

    Hi Olena! Was wondering since you said to do the 3SMM after actives if you're suppose to actually start over & wash your face again with cleanser or you meant to pat face with water to apply the following steps, which is a humectant and moisturizer. If anyone else knows what she meant please let me know. Thanks!

My skin wasn't really bad, but it wasn't like how it was when I used Finacea. I got some pimples again. Now my question... Is it important to always use an active in your routine or can there be a time that you don't need to use an active? And can skin get used to actives to the point it won't work anymore and you would need a new active? Or is that just marketing from beauty brands? XXX 🙋🏻‍♀️

    Hey Olena! Awesome video as usual, thank you :) I live in Australia and the sunscreens you reccomended (on your blog, stories and videos) are not available instore or online that ship here. Do you know any well formulated sunscreens accessible here? :)

      Hi I live in Australia too, I ordered Bioderma photoderm Ar sunscreen on Olena's recommendation online. There is a website called adore beauty and also one called care to beauty. You can order online

      I’m also in Australia 🌞😅! Unfortunately the Bioderma Photoderm AR available in Australia has hydrogenated vegetable oil- which is different to the European formulations! I know Olena doesn’t like oils! I’m still on the hunt for a spf which is 50+ in Aus but I love the Paula’s Choice resist tinted SPF30 - which Olena recommends! It’s awesome 💖🙌

      @@emilyboyd9846 Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it! 💖I am not interested in anything below SPF 50 since i am outside almost all the time. You already know how sunny it gets.🌞😅

    • @emilyboyd9846
      @emilyboyd9846 4 роки тому +1

      Yeah I’m in the same boat- need a higher spf!! There’s some from Paula’s Choice which are 50+ (not tinted) - they appear as spf15 on the Australian website tho but are the same products as the international version! There’s also the Elta MD clear, which is spf46, but is $$$! I’m still looking for a water resistant sunscreen cause I’m in the ocean a lot but haven’t found anything suitable YET!

      She has plenty of videos but her main advice is that you don't have blackheads or whiteheads. You have pores. But to get rid of this use the Bioderma Sensibio H20 cleanser. The 3 step MM and sunscreen! It will protect ur skin

    Hi Olena, in one of your older videos you mentioned Bioderma scrub as a physical exfoliant so in this video's context, should we use that scrub after cleansing and then follow the 3SMM and moisturizing? P.S your content is so unique and I totally admire your individuality and the hardwork you did all these years! Thanks alot ☺

    My all time favourite active is AHA. It Really works on my skin. It's all rounded active, it exfoliates dead skin cells, it stimulates collagen production, it somehow hydrates, it prevents acne, and also, it can boost the penetration of the other products that you use. How about you guys? Let me know, perhaps I can taylor them to my skincare routine.

    Great video! You can see how much more your wavy your hair is since your 3-Step moisture method video! I was applying actives on damp skin so I will try applying on dry skin now. Any general recommendations on how often higher percentage actives should be used, if at all? I was using one once a week but now trying to do every other week or as I feel my skin needs it.
