  • In this video we unbox and then assemble Vevor's adjustable welding table. We do an in depth review while assembling it. We compare it to other similar ones aka Harbor Freight, Nomad, & Eastwood. We show modifications we needed to assemble it. We share areas to improve upon in the future to make it better. We rated this a 3 our 1st low Vevor rating. We still think that for the price it was worth keeping. Plus in part II we will show how for less than $20 it can become a 4 or 5. A great little portable adjustable welding or other DIM DIY projects table
PS.. This table can be used for lots of DIM DIY projects. It is height adjustable, tilts to several lockable angles, can support a fair amount of weight, collapses, has slots for clamps, back stops for aligning, and can easily be carried or rolled on its own casters.

I bought the same table and thought the same thing, that they switched the levers for wingnuts on me but I figured out that they did not.
If you look at amazons page for the table the smaller sized table we bought has the wrong pictures. The larger size we didn't buy has pictures of the table we did buy and take a look. It has wingnuts!
I guess that is one reason it was a lot cheaper but I found a simple solution using your video as a guide I drilled the holes larger in the plate and simply bought "Clamping Lever Handle m8 female" on amazon and they fit like a glove! nice easy to use safe table now. I did not have the other problem you had though with that cross piece being to short, I did have to adjust the 1/2 moon brackets though to the other side of the plates but they matched almost perfect.
I will say that Vevor customer support is top notch when I contacted them but there is a language barrier though but in all the confusion they ended up sending me a whole other table no charge as I thought it was missing the levers and knobs originally so I have an extra table now!

When I ordered mine they didn't have other one showing so didn't think that they just might have wrong picture.. Glad fix worked for you.. I am still very happy with them and with this table.. I've used it for welding but also for lots of other fabrication.. I was surprised how easily it carries the weight of my 7" jaw vise plus not moving while I was sawing pieces of pipe I had in it.. I also love and use the height adjustments and/or tilt to be able to get comfortable to weld things..

Yes I also discovered the basic issues with this table. The length between the legs was fixable to a point by adjusting/tightening the stretcher holes to be at their max length.
Biggest gotcha really is the tiny wing nuts on the angle adjustment. You can tighten with pliers but I subbed put ratcheting handles (m5 or m8)
Regardless of how tight you can make the angle adjustment I still find it pretty flimsy. But for under $90 it is adequate for my needs.
Maybe the Dewalt table would be a better choice but it’s 3 times the price

I've been using it for months after I made some modifications to original.. I use it for a welding table and its tilt and height adjustments work great to allow getting into a comfortable welding position.. I also use it as a multi-purpose work bench.. I've used it with my vise on it, to cut sheetmetal using the slot openings for the blade to protrude through, to drill on , etc.. It has held up to all of that and could not be happier with it.. Especially as you noted the price point is great.. If you haven't watched my video on the mods I made (part 2) .. take a gander they certainly made a difference to me.

I did see part two. I didn’t have as much an issue with the horizontal spreader so just loosened the bolts. I added the ratcheting arm and two knobs so that works. I didn’t entirely see the mod with the washers and you didn’t show how that worked in action. I wasn’t sure how the washer would move when going between detents.
For under $100 it’s adequate and will suffice for my needs.

Added a short ..least hope it ends up as one if not a 27sec video showing how done and how it supports.

@@lars-dimdiy-howtos464 ahh I see. You need to remove then turn then re insert. Did you think of some sort of locating pin. Retractable? Then all you’d need are a few holes. I’m sure you’re handy enough to design one.
