Nice video. I have the same table and use it the same way you do. I may do a little more welding than you so it works out perfectly for me. Price is good, table is built with thought in mind for the project welder and the outside project builder. The assembly instructions sucked and I had to rethink and reverse a little, but a little common sense and patience and most anyone can put it together withjust a couple tools. Good job involving your son in projects. One day, he'll be putting these kind of things together for you. 🙂 So glad I involved mine with building projects when they were young. They've been a huge help to me now that they're grown men and women. Stay well!

What's old is new again. Harbor Freight sold a similar table. It was junk and it appears this is just a regurgitation of that.
Mine had 2 holes on each side instead of 3

I'm considering getting one of these as a holder/stand for my adjustable dumbbells, a total of 160lbs. Does this feel sturdy enough for holding heavy objects like that and replacing dumbbells?

This thing looks just like the harbor freight to me? Same Chinese factory?
