  • This video is Part II of our review of Vevor's Adjustable Welding Table.. we go into more depth on gotcha's we found with the Vevor adjustable welding table. More importantly we show how we fixed them quickly & for only a few $$ more (less than $20). By doing these modifications you get all the features of a Nomad/Eastwood but for the price point of a Harbor Freight.
The modifications shown will definitely make it a great DIM DIY projects table at a great price! I still wouldn't rate it a 5 yet. One more upgrade to be done but for now it can wait. We'll show you what it is in case you don't want to wait to make that improvement.
PS.. This table can be used for lots of DIM DIY projects. It is height adjustable, tilts to several lockable angles, can support a fair amount of weight, collapses, has slots for clamps, back stops for aligning, and can easily be carried or rolled on its own casters.

I just purchased it and for the price it does the job. At the end of the day its a 100 table. For the price I rate it a 4 1/2. Thanks for the mods. I will definitely be doing them!

Have used mine a lot since made small upgrades to it.. Definitely was a great buy and am very happy with it. I often use it with a heavy vise on top of it or just as a nice welding table.

Im not seeing the need for notches for the angle of the table. Your going to set the table to whatever angle feels good to you anyway.

The notches LOCK it in position. If you lean on it, or put a lot of weight on it, or both they keep it from moving. It is IMO safer and easier than having to really crank down on the star knobs. It also helps prevent gouging of the adjustment slot by cranking down on it. Instead one is tightening down on the adjustment washer..

@@lars-dimdiy-howtos464 well, ill know soon as I ordered one. From reading others posts they have all dealt with this issue as I expect I will.,but none found it necessary to go to the trouble you did. But that is your prerogative. I hope those notches are at the angles you need.

Do you have a link to the knobs you used?

I didn't order them on line. I went to our local hardware store that we support (not a big box). They had 8M Star Knobs in their nuts/bolts/etc section.

Thank you.. Tons of work goes into making/editing a video so knowing that they are viewed positively and/or help others is appreciated..
