This is a complete guide on how to setup and install an indoor grow tent from start to finish. Grow tents create the perfect environment for home gardening and indoor cultivation of vegetables and mushrooms. We show you the step by step instructions on how to install them from years of experience with assembling them. This video is literally comprised of at least 6 different tents which were setup and his shortcut shows you the easiest and most efficient way to set them up. This setup applies to practically every brand including vivosun, mars hydro, ac infinity, spider farmer and all the generics that exist. It’s broken down into parts so check the description if you already have some parts setup.
The video is broken down into the following time stamps:
Part 1 - Assembling a Grow Tent - 0:42
Part 2 - Installing Hanging Lights - 3:12
Part 3: Installing Airflow (Carbon Filter, Inline Fan and Duct) This section is broken down into 3 parts and you must first measure the temperature of the inside of your tent with the lights on.
Try to measure near where your plants would be and based on that, go to the following timestamp:
A. Above 78 Degrees - 6:26
B. Below 78 Degrees - Limited Space in Tent - 12:34
C. Below 78 Degrees - Adequate Space in Tent - 14:25
Part 4 - Everything Else
Installing Internal Fans 15:45
Setting up Timed Surge or Outlet - 16:04
Addressing and Preventing Light Leaks -16:27
Out of all of the products in the video, the equipment we recommend based on actual use are:
The BEST All in One Kit: amzn.to/43U86zk 4 x 2 Perfect for 3 Plants (Make sure you clip all coupon). Reason why is because Light is MVP and that light is my All time Favorite.
General Hydroponics Nutrients: amzn.to/3SpeVUg (DO NOT get it from Third Party Sellers on Amazon, I have had bad bottles before)
CaMag: amzn.to/3SmbJJ6
PH Meter, 3-in-1 TDS/PH/Temperature Meter: amzn.to/3YHVOHt
pH Up down: amzn.to/3xNJcm5
Tip: Buy Soil Locally, it's usually half the price because shipping a 20 lb bag costs a lot of $ and is baked into the price.
Surge: BN LINK 8 - 4 timed 4 untimed: amzn.to/3HLrTW2 Timed Outlet: amzn.to/3345MLf - Навчання та стиль
I wish I saw this guide before setting up my tent. Would have saved me a lot of hassle. Great quality production, very clear demonstration, and beautifully narrated 10/10.
Appreciate it, I spent a lot of time on it and comments like this let me know it wasn’t in vain.
JHC....i am not a newbie to growing but i am at a grow tent....been looking for a video so informative like this....i get crap in my feed that i could care less for but yet spend days looking for what I need....just subscribed....thank you, thank you
Great Help!! Everyone doesn't explain why inside or out..Glad I found this page!
This is the best instructional ever!! Covered everything. Thank you.❤
this was a great video with clear directions. first video i actually understood. thank you 🙏

3:38 Man just chillin and living his life 😂👌
That helped a lot thank you
Than you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!
I am seeing this before my tent even ships. It is the Spider Farmer SF 1000 2x2 kit. We just got the green light (see what I did there?) here in Germany. And I am so excited, humbled, nervous...all different kinds of feelings.
where did you buy it ? i cant find a good shop in europe
@@mrshootingsteel9292 I picked mine up directly from the Spider Farmer site. Since I placed my order, there has been a 160€ price increase on the same kit. It is however confirmed to be shipping soon, SF has great customer service, as I wrote them and asked a few questions. I would also tell you to check out the major suppliers, especially NOW. there are still 420 specials going on. Good luck and happy growing! 😁
what about active system with inline fan ? there is zero guides for that i start to give up
Put frame together up right but separate in the middle and lower it 10 inches , finish putting the top on and stretch a little into each corner
Isn't outtake ventilation supposed to be mounted on a top hole? Seems counterproductive to connect the outtake duct to a lower hole
Mars Hydro doesn't even send directions. 😂 I appreciate this video and wish I would have been able to find it when I needed it.
I’m setting one up now. Same issue no directions
@@rossdempsey726 yep! It's ridiculous!
keep tent at 84f under LED light?
The best explanation, thank you very much!!!!
What lights are those?
i feel like even with the weight of the fan, you want that part to be air tight for pulling or pushing because it could get a lil smelly otherweise
pro tip use shorter cords, also the seal between the filter and the fan MUST be perfect or smell gets out!
I ordered a 2x4 grow tent and a led lighf. New to this so question might seem rediculous but do I need to order the ventalator, carbon filter, inline fan and controler too? I thought I just needed tent & light and I could put my little fan set inside for them to grow? Frustrated now and dont know where to get advice! 🤔😔
Carbon Filter is for the smell, if isn't a problem for you, you don't need it, the inline fan is for humidity and temperature inside the tent, the plants don't like too hot or too humid, the led heats the tent, you could open the door every day, but is a hustle.
So if setting up in a garage, I dont have to have a fresh air supply from outside? The air inside the garage would be ok? I saved this video BTW.....
everytime i turn my light on, my temp goes from, 76-78 up to 82ish, the inline fan kicks on but the temp NEVER drops. idk wtf to do. i feel the hair coming out the ducting tube, so idk why its not going down in temp like it should
Then your lung room isn’t cool enough. You needed to place it in a cooler room
@@HowWeedGrow Thats the only spot there was for it, i guess il have to have the ac on when the light its on
I have a 2x2x4 set up what’s the best for odorless
4 inch inline fan is enough with a carbon filter
What causes moisture inside the tent especially around the bottom? could moisture be entering in from the outside rain. or coldness? we have a small heater inside, it stays on low at 80 several hours a day, a fan from above and the exhaust fan that turns on at 82.
Cold floor against warm air Condensation
It's weird because when people have good/better sex is actually because electricity in all guys dicks # apparently someone stepped on ants bums and went in the ocean and now he has only got 1 leg because the shark took his leg off is crazy
3:40 ayooo my boy jusst recording the setup butt naked
🤘🏻
whats the problem with temps going over and staying over 80F
How low should you light hang
Depends of what you're growing and what stage its in.
I'm new to this world but one thing that is driving me nuts is why aren't most people installing the ventilation outside of the tent? I understand if people have space limitations but if they don't. Why not put it outside? Because my thought is I want to maximize my grow space and these things take up including the light a lot of room that could go towards taller plants. I must be missing something. I've got a 36 inch by 36 in because of the spot that it's in. However I have two and a half feet of headroom above the tent that I can install. I'm just curious if there is anybody with advice as to why I shouldn't?
The odors are inside the tent. Therefore the carbon filter needs to be inside the tent because the air is sucked through the filter first, then the fan blows the filtered air outside the tent. Also heat is inside the tent from the lights so it needs to be exhausted outside the tent. So the system needs to be inside the tent.
Beware of crappy plastic corners on generic and budget tents. These will cause more damage than you can imagine when they fail.
So true
Tent can be built.... Fan
.. lights... Dehumidifier... Humidifier.... And controller is all that is needed.... Save some cash where you can
And my experience, once you have your tent, set up, leave it set up. If you have to take it down for any reason, it will most likely break. Make sure it’s going to be there for a long time and you won’t have to move it.
🧢 I moved mine 3 times so far.
@@Only1JuHef cool, what size was it?
❤John 3,16 ❤

Why bro why
That Light is useless.
