I reckon the texturing on the plates of the more expensive version is probably there (at least partially) to disguise wear-and-tear. You won't notice scuffing so much because only the raised portions of the plate are subject to it, and those portions are broken up into thin lines that won't show the scratches. Just a theory, but seeing how worn down your 'lite' looks after only a week or two, I reckon that's a benefit even if it wasn't intended. It may also help smoothness by trapping air pockets, I guess.
DUUUUUUDE! you gotta warn me there's a kid making sounds in your house! lol. I kept running out to check on my two kids - like - who's having dreams? who's peed? who needs papa? oh wait, that's fidget bro's kids! lol. PHEW!
I like my Rapt Lite but I had to add a bumper to replace the insert...it takes care of all hotspot issues and is a stronger insert so I don't break more inserts...
I love my Rapt Lite, I never leave the house without it. Thank you for the review. 💯
