I see rapt lites come up every now and then on the secondary market. I have a few sliders but none of them are “curved plates.” Do you think its really worth getting a rapt lite or should i just wait until hopefully Jonas puts out another batch of Rapts, whatever new model that may be. For reference i do have a SOB V2 coming in but i heard those curved plates are a different experience from the rapt/rapt lite.
Curved plates are really great! I think the rapt Lite is pretty great now that there are options for different tops so you can customize it how you want it, with OtterEDC putting out lots of different types of tops there's lots of cool stuff available right now. Sakura EDC as well. The SOB V2 plates are pretty different, very slippery, very smooth. I often chuck half the slider across the room lol. But I like both sliders. Is it worth getting a Rapt Lite or should you get a new rapt? That depends on how much money you want to spend, really. I have no idea how the new Rapt is. I only know it looks cool lol.
This one looks rough 😅. If it weren’t for the brand name, I’m not sure anyone would give it a second glance at this price point. Btw thanks for the KukoEDC recommend. Got my Ergo two weeks ago and it is top tier.
Yeah, you might be right about that one. The brand name gives it that boost. Ooh, yay! Glad to see support for KukoEDC! She seriously makes some incredible stuff for attainable prices.
a friend gave me a SS one. Its okay. I'm not particularly fond of the curved plates. It makes some of my goto moves not work right. I have not owned a V2. The bumper plates I got make it feel a whole lot better imho. I also added a CF wraps to the tops of mine.
I wanted the SS more than the brass, personally, but whatevs. That sucks that some of your moves don't work right with the plates, though, I didn't even think about that. I need to get some better inserts that take away the hot spots. Also, CF wraps sound super cool!
Yeah it's not excellent lol, but I think I'll keep it to showcase the inserts that people are creating. It's good for that, at least. Wish I had an SS or titanium one for that though, so the inserts would be against a neutral color background.
@@FidgetGirlEDCTitanium top covers are now available for purchase on MW website. Personally I love the Lite more than my Ti SGS. The Lite’s plates are smoother, glides beautifully and sound is snappier. Most of all, I can cover all exterior metal & hotspots with aftermarket 3D-printed bumpers & covers that give it grip. Love your reviews ❤
My first is brass and the second one im thinking between copper and titanium. I like the heft on sliders but i also wanna try titanium. Hybrid always and 3click@@FidgetGirlEDC
@pante2002 Ooh nice! So we're both brass and both hybrid and 3 click, lol! I really would love a titanium one. I hope you get the one that you want, whichever it is!

Disregard my complaint about that accessories pack! I'm an idiot that can't read 😂 I got everything I was supposed to get
I feel like the KukoEDC stuff is WAY more worth the money than this is.
In my opinion, I'm inclined to agree. I'm absolutely in love with my V3 Web, it's just amazing. I use it way more than the Rapt Lite.
Montevalles are not as good as sgs
God, I wish I could afford a Montevalle. They certainly are beautiful. But waaaay out of my price range. They aren't as good as the V2 you're saying?
@@FidgetGirlEDC correct, I paid 2600 for one and traded it for an sgs
Rapt lite is pure garbage. Don't waste your money I even think magnus is better. Stick with v2 rapt or forgetta bout it

I really like the rapt light actually. Not hotspots for me at least, to be honest, i cant get enough of it, gonna buy a second one for sure!
That's awesome! What material is your first one in? What material will your second one be? Do you like to run it as a hybrid, or something else?

I got the copper one!❤ i hope you get the ti
@pante2002 that's awesome! The copper one looks cool, love that color! Hopefully one day I'll get the ti lol!
