Freeing excellence affects reality is the best one, after that line, free expression as revolution and fantastic expectations amazing revelations, in that order. This song gives amazing lines.
I have all Ian Brown's solo stuff. Love him! I know he's not the best live singer but his studio releases are superb! Btw in Ireland "the Fear" is a different thing entirely. It's used for when you've had a whale of a night out. As you recover the next day and begin to sober up, you feel feckin terrible and you get flash backs of shit you done the previous night and think "what did I do?" "oh shite what did I say?"...The Fear!
Great reaction guys. It is genius! Only Brownie could pull this off. For Ian Brown recs, I’d say “Keep What Ya Got”. Great song, but make sure you watch the music video, Noel Gallagher is a feature on the song, and makes a cameo. Go back to The Stone Roses! You haven’t done them in ages, and your videos on them was actually the reason I subbed. Recs for them, “Made Of Stone” (unbelievable song), and “Breaking Into Heaven” (another song off their second album, the guitar solo from Squire here is quite possibly the best I’ve ever heard). Hope you do some of these soon!
Ian Brown is quite simply a genius songwriter and, whether with the Stone Roses or not, he wipes the floor with much of the competition. "Final Execution And Resurrection"...I mean come on that line alone is worth the price of an album. Thanks so much to you guys for the appreciation that you show for so much of our Brit indie/alternative music. Unlike so many others who react to stuff on You Tube, you actually sit back and listen, and more importantly, take in and digest the lyrics and music which can be a rarity on these channels. Glad you like our humour too. Please try and watch and perhaps react to the IT Crowd, perhaps one of the funniest Brit comedies ever following a couple of IT nerds in the computer department..Could you please give a few moments to a German Shoegaze band called Sea Surfer and their songs "Dragon Song" shown with amazing lyrics on You Tube and "Stay".
I stood on the stage with Ian Brown at the V festival in Staffordshire years ago and he rode past me on his Chopper bike. There are some benefits to having a sis who's the event coordinator.
The GOAT Ian brown… words are unnecessary. This is one of the best songs ever made. The meaning of each line and the fact that is just fucking brilliant how he could make this song with lyrics that actually make sense only using the F.E.A.R. Very underrated artist. The man that Liam Gallagher would like to be.
Want to be blown away by an Ian Brown solo tune check out Shadow of a saint from Music of the sphere's and keep what you got from solarized which he co wrote with Noel Gallagher
I've been listening to this song since it came out and Today I learned something new about it. Every time I hear it I learn something new about music, and lyrics...great tune.
So glad you appreciated this guys! One of my one of my favourite tunes. He got the idea for the tune whilst staying in New York and reading the autobiography of Malcolm X and hearing the kids in the streets making up raps using acronyms. Keep What Ya Got with Noel Gallagher is also good and My Star, Love Like a Fountain and Stellify are decent tunes too. Keep up the good work guys 👏👏👏
There's a sequence of about 3 songs which flow into each other on Music of the Spheres, held together with bleeping noises like a kind of heart monitor sound. Adore that ❤
Hypnotic...think he wrote it while in prison.. saw him live in a forest of all places. Great gig.. he came out and met the fans before he played.. legend
Lol I really enjoyed this! I've been listening to unkle, Ian Brown, and I watched the stone roses live in Tipperary in the early 90s but never put 2+2 together that every line spelled out FEAR 🤣🤣🤣 Cheers Spencer!
It's beyond cool to see Americans reacting to one of my all time favourite musicians, and one who tends to really only be known in the U.K, and liking it! Good stuff guys, subscribed!
DJ Shadow is a legend creating the Unkle albums, they was some of the greatest compilations of so many great artist and groups of the 90s 👍bro you got taste ✌️ And hearing The Scratch Perverts live at Homelands has to be my best live set of there's.
@@pizzyp Lavelle worked with some good people Shadow on Psyence fiction, Richard file/Pablo Clements after shadow left and most recently Matthew Puffet of Future Beat Alliance (old school UK Dance project). After Shadow left UNKLE just before a tour Lavelle hired Scratch Perverts to do that tour with him, the live footage is amazing.
I would like to suggest for you to react to: The music collective that is Massive Attack’s “Unfinished Sympathy” (the official music video). as it is a benchmark music video as well as the song being a “National Anthem” from the 1990s (according to BBC Radio 1 at some point in the late 90s-early 2000s. The music collective’s name gives the wrong impression and the song title is right (for years I thought it was “Unfinished Symphony”.)
Ian brown is a unique singer, he’s doesn’t have a great voice and isn’t a great singer, but he’s a great frontman and artist, the natural swagger attitude etc more than makes up for it. Keep what ya got , written by Noel is very underrated
Saw Ian Brown in Cardiff Uni ...... proper geezer ..... he kicked someone out for spitting! Check out Damien Rice The Blowers Daughter .... Live AOL session .... it'll soothe your souls
I love Ian Brown, I do think musically he's a bit of a genius. However, he's not the best singer and never has been. But his voice works on the tracks he does. That album 'Music of the Spheres' is brilliant
Ha me too bud. I don't even know how many times I've heard this song and I've just been told this too. First time I've seen the real lyrics to be honest.
Now you have to get to Timperley's other big hero Frank Sidebottom. Prepare to be confused..... Frank's shed show or his cover of Panic by The Smith's ((Panic on the streets of Timperley) Mike Joyce drummer in The Smith's also lives in Timperley..... (South of Manchester...)
Daniel said he couldn’t write 5 lines to the word fear… But if you count the letters in fear… it’s only 4. So Daniel my friend, you would only have to write 4 lines. 😁 From England 🏴 Always Raining. ☔️ 😁 Love the show guys. Much love. X
Hey guys, want to make a suggestion, I don't think you have it on your channel yet but I'd like to see a double reaction first to the Cranberries - "Zombie" song and then in the same video Bad wolves "Zombie" the cover of the original Cranberries version. thanks a lot peace out
Strong echoes of Massive Attack to me. Also I wonder if he was taking a dig at the song of the seasons in Proverbs - the part which goes "there is a time for every purpose under heaven and for everything a season; a time to reap; a time to sow" etc. That's a series of four word statements too. I don't know. Just where my mind goes.
You guys haven't done Arctic Monkeys for a while, a really underrated song of theirs is "Perhaps Vampires Is a Bit Strong But…", starts off pretty mid but it just escalates to an incredible finish, has to be listened at full volume to get the best experience. Keep up the good work!
The Arctics are my favourite band of all time. I remember watching them in Glastonbury festival. They have evolved with each album and I can’t wait for the next
If you can't react to the vid it's worth a watch in your own time boys it helps with the flow of the song , ................ kT Tunstall on jools Holland singing " Black horse and cherry tree " its a must watch get it done ! Lol 👍
Lads, get on his first solo track he released My Star (TOTP version), Corpses, Time Is My Everything, Stellify or Always Remember Me. All brilliant tracks
Random one, but PLEASE do a reaction video to the song and music video 'What am I fighting for' by Unklejam. It might not sound it, but it was a short lived British group.
You guys need to listen to some Richard Ashcroft solo stuff, break the night with colour, music is power, a song for lovers, c’mon people. All that stuff!
You really need to react to Ian Brown, Keep What Ya Got. Features Noel on the Guitar and in the music video. It's great.
Agreed, belting song.
Agree
And if poss the video cos noel’s in it👍🇬🇧
Live on the Johnathan Ross show is a good one, Noel singing with him.
Tune!
So happy you found the right one. I was sad for a long time after the first effort🤣🤣 now you need to see the video coz that's ace
