@@brrrt6666 I mean no disrespect but Toyota has made performance oriented cars that didn't break either. Sadly those days are gone and you may have a rebadged Subaru or a rebadged BMW (or a Gazoo! appearance package to your Prius)

It just depends what you buy. If anything, this channel has taught me, buy British, avoid German. Yes, you'll still need to fix the British car, but it's much less frequent than a German car.

Love your videos keep showing Hoopties and not ones in your channel, I also have a couple of Hoopties an Expedition and a Toyota pick up. I spent 2 years in McPherson Kansas for work purposes and missed the opportunity to meet you in person there. Now I’m in the east coast and sadly is nearly impossible to get to the auto shows there and try to meet you and the Wizard.
As for the plywood above ground creeper: I saw a video of a gadget at a recent car show where it was almost identical, but it was self supporting and you tilted the laydown board up and over the fenders etc to reach the far ends of larger vehicles like pickups etc. It worked kind of like an inversion board where you stood on it, and leaned forward and it tilted up and into the engine bay.
I thought it was quite the gadget considering I think I'm a shorty like the wizard. I had to use a step stool when I did the coils on my F150.
I must recommend competent psychological counseling due to those seats.

When I saw those seats on the Ferrari it reminded me of the cloth they use on the transit buses in my neck of the woods.
That's the ugliest seat i ever seen, especially on a Ferrari.

Hotlog not what I mean... like a Recaro SRD which also has no separate headrest, but only puts the flashy pattern in the center. I would have put a swatch of black on the headrest portion of that seat.

Not so much. It may have been the ONLY sponsor to pop their head up. Hoovie doesn't have hundreds of advertisers like youtube does. But I think it is a decent choice. I mean many guys go bald in their late 20s. And his demographics aren't exactly 12 year old girls....

@@chrisj197438 For me, he is not unwatchable because I think it is a terrible channel but because I think he misses the point of what made these other channels successful. My favorite channel of a guy fixing up vehicles is Westen Champlin. My favorite car mechanic channel is the car wizard. I don't watch Westen to be informed. He provides no information in his videos at all. I watch him because he is entertaining. I don't watch the car wizard to be entertained but for information. If I wan to to know best GM or Ford vehicles to buy I go to his videos on them but I am not going to Westen to find that out. I will gladly watch both but for two totally different reasons. But JR misses on both of those reasons so...
I could care less about his personal life.

Hoovie, how about you install a blaze cut system in the engine bay? It's a plastic hose filled with pressurized fire retardant. In the event of a fire, it melts and blows it's load all over the fire. Because most ferrari fires are fuel related, it would probably put it out easily. Cheap insurance!
