There still isn't a hardware based device like the GoXLR. All the other more expensive replacements (Procaster II, Procaster Duo, etc.) only give you 3 audio devices on the PC (while adding a bunch of inputs and outputs I don't need), whereas GoXLR had at least 5. RIP having Discord, Music, Game, Samples, System all being individually assignable and adjustable. El Gato Wave has this, but it's all software
Tell that to mine that has been sitting in a box in their authorized repair center for 8 months, because TC-Helicon hasn't sent them parts in 2 years. They refuse to let them fix it with the SAME PART that is plentiful and costs $1.21, despite the fact that I'm paying for the repair out of my own pocket because they refused my warranty claim.
@@BaxTechYT indeed. Music Tribe really killed TC-Helicon. I just wish that Beacn had really gone on to build a device that was even better than the original goxlr, but I assume that they are bound but certain non-compete agreements.
Well its not really surprising that there arent any hardware updates, because the Team that made the Go XLR moved left TC Hellicon and made there own company called BEACN. Because TC Hellicon allegedly wasnt interested in supporting more developement in that sector.
Yep, quite strange. The GoXLR that I bought is simply in 'storage' for now. Tried and tested it out and was very happy with what it could do as I prefer to use sliders and have that physical control. I do use the Elgato Wavelink, simple to setup and easy to use, BUT I do struggle with the WaveLink s/w interface. Perhaps, a new v.2/ markII is on the horizon? - who knows.
I'm going to sell mine off. I'm moving to rode. it doesn't display all the frequencies I need to cut, and resets them when i switch between them. the GUI needs a revamp, and well Rode does everything I want and more, and gives me a crap ton more IO. From what I understand the GOXLR was supposed to be dead, but they're bringing it back after major company restructuring and shutting down the NA HQ and moving operations to Global HQ in Denmark
Same problem here, wish there was a product that combines a Rodecaster pro 2 Duo, GoXL, Avermedia live streamer ax310, Elgato wave xlr, Rode Streamer X, Roland bridgecast... made bij Elgato so it goes easy with a stream deck ... probably asking for too much lol
its still an amazing product. i have the full size goxlr, software has gotten updates to the point where it has every feature we could ask for. they may not update it anymore, but it still works and is still great
lmao I own them and from experience either you have luck with the software or not. If it works for you and your system I think its worth the keep. Just a bit sketchy now because of the recent changes with Goxlr@@Saiko_Panda
mine completely died ..turned it off went to bed woke up turned it on and no sound output at all ...did all the troubleshooting ..uninstalled re-installed .checked and switched cables even tried on another pc ..same result ..500 bucks gone ...

Truth! It’s a tough choice when it comes to buying something like this. Fantastic device, just a poo poo company

It makes it even worse that they’re trying to come up with new color ways now. They need to just be more forward with their existing customers

just in case you didn't know, the entire TC-Helicon staff was let go before this was announced.
WTF😳 they need to just sell this company off to someone
@@BaxTechYT They were bought by Music Tribe in 2015 iirc, so it's up to them.

Glad to see your doing good man!
Thank you my dude! We need to get some apex sometime soon!

Just ordered the GOXLR because it went on sale for $280..... seems like a no brainer. The device has been used by the top streamers for years.
Welcome back
Thank you🙏🏻 and thanks for showing love during my time off!!
been thinking of getting a goxlr but i keep seeing people saying its dead, and dont buy it

Am I mad? I’m actually thinking about buying a goXLR.
I have the goxlr mini thinking of getting the white full size version that way I have 8 faders :D and more features and outputs and inputs.
I've been waiting for this version for a while and then this appears after mentioning they will stop supporting it. The hell?
They are a very strange company
Wth! I pull up and random video to see whether this product is still worth getting and lo and behold, I see you! Lol

um the goxlr isn't going to get any more updates though its pretty much going to die slowly.
Hello Bax, i just got one of these from a guy off marketplace. But im frustrated about not being able to download the GoXLR app. What do i do?
The app and drivers are still available on TC's website.
There is a new update
