Unfortunately it's not exactly satire. In the real world it's referred to as accelerationism. There's a fair few very powerful people and organizations that genuinely subscribe to this ethos.

Now if only there was some subtle way to convince people climate change is real... like, oh say... one of them saying "Gosh isn't the weather so weird these past several years?" and another going "Yes actually, do you suppose there may be a reason for that?" and then none of them going "Naaaah let's keep driving the largest SUV we can find to the airport so we can keep searching for the countries that will teach us to eat, pray and love properly"

Fun fact: weather changes. Some days are in fact hotter or colder than others. Some weeks, months, and years even. And sometimes, get this, the weather can even be BAD. Yes, sometimes it rains, snows, and storms. Believe it or not. And you know what? That it natural, it is how the world works, it is always how the world worked. Did you know that we have had MULTIPLE ice ages? Yes, the whole world gets so cold that it’s mostly covered in glaciers, then it warms up and the glaciers go away. And it has done all that millions of years before humans ever existed, the world can in fact get warmer and colder on it’s own, and it ALWAYS IS, it is always either going in to or out of an ice age, when it is going in temperature trends colder over many thousands of years, and when it is coming out it gets warmer. How do the envirowhackos explain this? Time traveling SUVs?
Did you know that cow flatulance produces more greenhouse gas than all of human industry? So do termites. Even water vapor causes a greenhouse effect. It is the height of conceit and humorous to believe that humans are having any real effect at all, let along can “save” or “destroy” the planet.
I‘m a sustainability researcher and this sums up my frustration perfectly! And your approach seems to work, Arms looks like he is melting in the outro 😄

Chris (sleepy): Aodhagán? What are you doing out here in the dark?
Aodh: Nothing. Go back to bed.
Suits (coming with two spades in his hand): Here, the Murphys were still up, so I went to the Aherns. They are so trustworthy, they never lock their garage.
Aodh: (grabs a shovel and starts digging): Fools
Chris: Wait. What do you mean they never lock their garage? Did you steal those shovels?
Suits: No, I borrowed them.
Chris: So, you asked them?
Suits: No, they were asleep and my mum taught me that it's rude to disturb anyone who already went to bed.
Chris: Well, thats at least something. Though she didn' teach you that you shouldn't steal.
Aodh: Look, Chris. It's not stealing when you bring them back and how do you know that they didn' leave the garage open on purpose so people could borrow their stuff. Sharing is caring.
Chris: Ok, maybe, but why do you need the shovels in the middle of the night and not like a normal person, when it's day.
Suits: Wait, are you saying we are not normal?
Chris: No, I mean..it's just odd that you are doing your gardening in the night. The only people I know of that use shovels in the night are pirates on a treasurehunt and killers burying their latest victim.
Aodh: So, you know pirates and serialkillers, but we are the weirdos.
Chris: No, I don't. I was thinking of movies and...
Aodh: Listen Chris, we are doing ths gardening at night, because we are planting tomatoes. And like everybody knows they belong to the nightshade family. And what time is it now?
Chris: Night?
Aodh: Exactly. So, why don't you go and get a potato? That's a nightshade as well.
Chris: Oh, I could make my own crisps. But I don't have a potato, only mash and wedges.
Sutits: Don't worry, just get some from Ahern. His garage is full of them.
Chris: I can't just take one from him without asking.
Suits: He won't mind, he has a lot and he likes to share. He is a nice guy and in a few months you can just bring him some of your crisps.
Chris walks to the neighbour garage while the other two continue digging. Then they hear him screaming and see that Ahern is chasing after him with a shotgun.

One of the reasons I love them is cause they know all the tricks in life. Not all of them, but the ones who paid attention to the tricks that got them what they wanted, they know what's up.

Recycling jokes is not going to help destroy the planet, lads. Think of the paper and ink you could've wasted. That being said, I love what you did with the old sketch. It feels like it always belonged in the squatters universe. Suits and Aodhagán moving in and out of shot really made the sketch come alive. I really enjoyed that.
