@@_nuwanthika_ the trick is that by creating thematic playlists, it's harder for us to accuse them of sketches missing than when they're for a specific series of characters 😉

My favorite is five years of experience or three years out of school ... that usually throws out anyone without a full deck of victim cards ... ;-)
The thing is... The bit about how you need a job to get a job and nepotism is not wrong. Which makes the rest of it even funnier! Good job ;-)

Its easy to lie on your resume but its hard to get them to believe it
Absolutely, little lies here or there maybe
Being authentic is the crux of selling your resume . Always talk about your experience within the organisation, and use the added complexity of "my manager handled that" and "I was given XYZ deliverables" and I delivered :)

@@klegdixal3529 Good god you’re right. Now _that’s_ lying on your resume! They’re hired!
You could always email the CVs to employers.
Also, always put silver medalist. They're even harder to trace, and it shows you have room for growth.
I had someone joke they were a male escort the other day - a mail escort … he’s a postman 😂

Arms' exasperated voice of reason, Foil's unwavering confidence, and Hog's smooth slide in - it's better than some 30 minute sitcom episodes I've seen 😄

1:32 is legitimately what went on with a friend of mine in his old job as an Interpreter. They basically told him, a couple of months in, that it was pretty clear he'd lied about his qualifications but that he'd done enough learning on the job that he was pretty much qualified now, so they weren't firing him.
I've never lied on my resume, so it always annoys me when I don't get a job.
It's ridiculous to hear hiring managers explain why they don't want unemployed people.

And again, you've made an equally absurd and relatable sketch, brilliant!
I adore Foil's admiration for his steady hand, he's so focused!
He improvised that bit, and was really happy when i got it in the edit
Absolutely. That moustache is absurd. The gargantuan lies are totally relatable though.
I was surprised Foil's character was putting a resume together in order to get a job, but he redeemed himself in the end....too much work to look for one. Great sketch!
We’re currently looking for new employees. So after having watched this sketch, tell me how shall I take ANY resumé seriously ever again??? Or any job interview in general, after having watched your job interview sketches… 😩
If I randomly burst out laughing in those job interviews next week, we all know who’s to blame.
Well, there is always the 3 or 6-month probation period... isn't there?? ;)
Frankly, I’ve come to the conclusion that a willingness to learn and not being afraid to ask questions when you are uncertain what to do are some of the most valuable things you can get in an employee. Everything else comes along if you have that.
Just ask people about how they would handle the work, not about their reference. If they know to do it, they know to do it.
@@suntiger745if you select for enthusiasm and willingness to learn it is completely your own fault that you end up with a bunch of dumb rich kids filled with unearned confidence
@@sd-ch2cq Enthusiasm is not necessary. A willingness to learn and ask questions is.
Those are the foundations you can build a good work ethic on, though it's of course not guaranteed.
It's why a trial period is important for both employer and employee.
Not sure why you think dumb rich kids would be signing up to work. In my experience, dumb rich kids tend to not work at all, just live off of their parents' money.
Funny thing about untraceable reference actually happened a lot in USA when circuit city or some other big chain shop closed and people put down positions from the place on their resume. There was physically no way to check it. People got away by using slightly higher paid jobs to boost theirs and no one could really do anything.
That sudden stop in music as soon as Arms starts to talk is hilarious. Great job in the edit there 👌🏻

Standing ovation because I felt so seen 😭
Yey it's Thursday again. Couldn't think of a better way to procrastinate. It really makes me happy to see how well the Squatters characters work in these shorter sketches. Loved it.
Have a wonderful day!
"It just feels like work"
Yes! I remember the last time I went looking for a job, I was spending my days looking at offers, finding about the company, writing a really good cover letter, etc. The amount of work was exhausting, and that's just to get a job 😱
Fahntastic Statistic - Week 95
In this spring, FAH averaged almost 1.3 million views per week on their UA-cam channel. There have been more views this season than any other since Autumn 2021.
Speaking of seasons, maybe another interview with a season? 'An Interview with Winter' now has 439K views which is pretty avarage. So I think it's worth a shot lads!
An Interview with Southern Hemisphere Winter.
Just not Summer or Winter will go mad.
Another idea would be the seasons being sued and in court for messing around. (Had my students debate as seasons and it was hilarious.)
You missed the obvious -- creative lying on your resume IS the qualification for United States Congressman from New York.
Foil's character being called the "best corpse burner" 😂😂 Oh boy!!
My daughter has a job interview this morning ... not sure if she lied on her resume but wish her luck!
Foil's 'tache and smug grin makes this sketch perfect.
Chris is getting a real character development here, ever since he killed Olwyn 😂
There are two types of people. The unemployed ones, and the ones who lied in their CVs
So that's why i was unemployed for months. I was trying to be honest...
You're the only ones that manage to make me laugh. I like the punchlines, it's clever and never offensive. A big thank you to you.
Heads up everyone, I watched it and I think this video is a total scam. The only REAL way to lie is to have a massive grin on your face, keep looking at a camera you hid in plain sight, giggle away as the person questions you and at times, speak 3 octaves higher than you normally do. It's not easy though, only people who have been professional actors for like, 15 years can pull this sort of performance off...
Regardless, I loved the video and I laughed so much and for that, I'm going to give it a 5 stars and share it with everyone I know 😂😂😂
I'm giving this comment 5 stars. Really made me giggle.
@@emilys.6787 Hehehehe **bows** yay!!!
I really enjoyed this one! Loved Suits rolling in and all the accents especially! 😂 Really felt like Suits And Aodhagan were long term flatmates/friends and Chris has grown a bit of confidence (and character). Good for him. I'm enjoying seeing what the Squatters characters are growing into.
A few truths in this one too about looking for a new job!
Great video.
And he is right.
You ARE supposed to lie on your resume.
If you tell the complete truth?
You will probably lose out to someone who lied better than you did.
Cheers.
✌️
Oh man, that ending 💀! After all that...he was just too lazy to bother. Loved it, guys! Hog's fake resume reference voices were hilarious, too. 🙌🤣
Funnily enough, I know somebody who basically social engineered his way into a fantastically high paying financial services consulting job despite not even graduating from high school. He went to meetings where he was supposed to be the subject matter expert about some complicated banking problem that he'd never heard of and just BS'd his way through with lines like, "If you were in charge, what would you do first?" And it worked -- for a few years.
One day he was called into his bosses office and threatened with immediate dismissal and jail time for falsifying his resume and qualifications. But he had never actually lied about any of his qualifications. His application said that he didn't have a college degree or even a high school diploma, but he had squeazled his way through the interview process with this wily ways and back slapping, so no one had ever actually looked at his application! He kept his job and retired a few years later, a multi-millionaire at like 35.
So there you have it boys and girls: to get rich quick, be born in 1970, be a white guy, and make your money before automated job application processes are invented to filter out your application.
The "business consultant" made me laugh. In Washington, DC, we have the "government contractor," which sounds just as vague!
LOL I'm a Federal government contractor. Within my company my job title is "Senior Consultant II." When I interviewed, the manager literally could not describe the job.
😂👏😂 With that look Aodhagán should have added Lion Tamer and 1970's adult movie star to his resumé, totally believable! 😜😂
I've been watching them for years , they never cease to amaze do they.
Ah thanks Samia, that's very kind
I agree, I think it’s about six years for me now, can’t believe it, but I hope they never stop… so that means they can’t die… well, at least not until all the fans do 😂
It's amazing how putting a moustache on Foil instantly makes him look 300% more like a jerk.
Hahaha!!!
I expected him to be rejected for being overqualified. Or for using a reference they didn't like.
They say there are two kinds of people in the world: Those who know how to do the job, and those who know how to get the job.
Ah never heard that one before, that's a good one
Get to remember the fake five stars and reviews on your early posters😂
haha fair enough, you got us
Hog is just on fire with the swift switches in accents and voices.. ❤
And the bgm to Aodhgan's monologues.
You have outdone yourselves, lads.. This is awesome 👏👏👏
Cheers, this was fun to put together, nearly 4 pages so took so long to learn

_clay_ pigeon shooting and the delivery. My favourite line in the whole thing! 😂
I lost it at the 6 burner phones 💀
I lied about my tech skills. Got the job and was congratulated on my tech skills. Worked there for 11 years and was never called out on it. Go Aragorn!
YES, that's the system
This is the way 😅
Meanwhile on Arms resume:
It says baker and cook, how so?
Arms: well i made mashed potatoes, croquettes, hashbrowns and wedges alot.
All of your hair looks amazing, btw. AND fantastic skit, beautiful gentlemen!! xoxoxo
Foil explaining why the system is rigged has the same energy as the kids arguing why they can't do the dishes.
"Annnddd that's time" was by far the BEST impression of a psychologist hahaha, nailed it!
The ending where Aodhghán and Suits realise that actually looking for a job involves working at it 😂 Love to see Foil having fun with a tache again, he really does love them
As a business consultant, I can confirm that none of us know what our actual job description is
No face set to disappointment here because I booked my tickets for Hamburg ages ago 🥳 Very much looking forward to it already!
Fantastisch!
This is hilarious. However, I want to pick up on the résumé and work experience part. It is always a good idea to get work experience. There are a couple of ways to do this. Obviously, getting a job is one way, however you can get an internship (paid or unpaid), enroll in job shadowing, get a scholarship with responsibilities such as tutoring, enroll in an apprenticeship (where you work and get trained up). No, it isn't easy, but it is easier to do something when you are younger.
The sharpie porno-stache always kills me 🤣
It's a good thing this video showed up when it did. I just got rejected from four different jobs in the past month. Think I'm just going to lie like a MF on my next application...
I don't understand the way certain hiring managers think. In 2019 I tried to apply for a librarian job, but they said they wanted someone with at least three years of experience... _in stacking books._
It's really hard. I'm an actor and I've auditioned for plays that were far easier to get into. I figure it's better to get a job with a resume full of lies than to have a true resume and no job. Sometimes you gotta play dirty to get ahead...
Have someone fake being a reference that you were a library "Page"- you know what I mean, that you were the book stacker in the aisles, as volunteer work. Some of the dealbreakers are so simple they are ridiculous.
This is a brilliant sketch. Foil has done an amazing job of portraying the inner pain such people suffer from.
Printing out a resume? Physically handing them out? What is this, two decades ago?
The music playing over his speeches! 😂
I love how his enthusiasm fades as he realises that applying to jobs is a pain! Very realistic!
As someone going through the recruitment process, I'm feeling personally attacked.
This is so painfully hilariously accurate! How did you guys know this is exactly what i'm experiencing at the moment 😂 Every sketch absolute gold
Everyone always gather what an employer would think, what if you flip the situation and imagine what an employee might think of an employer during an interview. Apparently it slips everyone's judgement that it goes both ways and employers cheat too: 'Paid vacations? Sure. Health insurance? Goes without saying. Free meals? Yeah. Bonuses? Absolutely. Career perspectives? That's what we're known for!" And then you find yourself overworked & underpaid and lied to about every single one of the points and end up starting your own business.
Writing my CV today this was so helpful thank you
When Arms said "you will not get a single job that way" and Foil replied "watch me", I thought it was gonna cut to him being hired as an actor 😂 But they're right, it's too much work! Coming from an actress 😝
Foil wearing those moustaches looks so majestic...bold enough to try to grow them out?
"Aaaaaand, that's time". Perfect! Loved it all. Suits rolling in from the side, the timing, the expressions, the inspirational music....all perfect.
You know who Suits reminds me of sometimes?
John 😂
I've watched almost 500 of your UA-cam videos, so I can add celebrated sketch comedian to my resumé now right? 😜
Hahaha! 😂
"If I could just go over your CV again, there are just a couple of details I'd like to clarify."
"Of course. Ask away."
"You say you've got degrees in science and architecture."
"That's correct."
"But your employment record seems to just be a list of acting credits."
"That's right, yes."
"'One billion-'"
"*Over* one billion."
"Over one billion views online, it says."
"Yup. But I'm not a UA-camr."
"Yes, I rather got that. The 36pt bold italics made your point quite effectively."
"If there's any other questions you've got..."
"Well there was just one thing. I don't believe this. I'm concerned you've embellished your CV. Lied on it."
"I guess I do produce a lot of content on You-"
"I just don't believe you actually have a science degree."

Brilliant as always! Also kinda funny the guy's shirt matching the wallpaper
A trainee psychologist? You do know that if you’re caught for lying, you’ll be behind ‘bars’ for ‘Freud’-ulent behaviour?
Really thought iit would end with:
Arms: did you get a job?
Foil: No, they said I'm too over qualified
Just an observation from an American, I find it very interesting that the guy on the right (sorry, I'm new to watching this channel and don't know anyone's names) says @ 3:26 "...miles away" instead of saying it's kilometers (kilometres?) away. I wonder if that's the only context they use the word miles in, other than talking about the USA's system of measurement
Given the set and the situation you can't convince me this isn't a mini-episode of Squatters.
I'm updating my resume. Thanks for the burner phone idea for references.

the way foils shirt matches the wallpaper just adds to the deception 😳
0:54 I like how the "resume" is the script for their last video "Cheating vs Studying" 😄
I see Hog is getting desperate for those million subs, if he's got the six phones to hand.
Great work lads! As admittedly employment challenged myself, did hit a bit hard.
So what you're saying is you need 129k burner phones... I think we could do this.
If everyone here just donated one phone...
YES
But he did have work to put on his resume: Quality control of packaged meals; Personal care of aged couple (albeit deceased and absent); Funeral arranger and celebrant. Crematorium retort operator fits in the scope of this career too, so would not be questioned.
I received an application for a librarian (mandatory university qualification) position in which the applicant said he wasn't a librarian and had not worked in a library, but he had studied in the library and observed the librarians, so he was confident that he could do the job.
I lied on my first CV about my hobbies when I applied to join the Navy. I was only just out of school in the mid 90s.
I put down "reading", but I hadn't read a book in years. And of course the guy asked me what the last book I read was, and I absolutely panicked and said "The Titanic"! Mind you, this was before the movie ever came out, so it probably didn't sound quite so ridiculous back then.
So, the guy then asked me to describe the book, and I think I made up something similar to the movie, but with a murder mystery included.
The fucker absolutely knew I was lying, and I knew that he knew because I'm a terrible liar, and he didn't stop; instead he asked me who wrote the book, and the only name I could think of was Maeve Binchy.
So I said it.
I cringed when I said it, and I think he smiled. And I'm surprised that he didn't burst out laughing.
But somehow I still got to the next stage of the interview process.
Thanks for sharing that, I really enjoyed that

Ahh, Foil don't give up so easily! Remember what they say - looking for a job is a job in itself! :))) Arms, don't discourage your friend from looking to change his life! :)) I think he's being quite serious about it!..
My trick to get into a new career was a lot of voluntary work. It looks impressive when put all together on a CV, even though most were short or simple projects. This probably won't work for corporate jobs, though. I was aiming at NGOs.
Did Foil really want to match his shirt with the wall paper?
The monologues!!! Way to tell truth in the blanket of a laughter fest. Great job, lads, great job...
