When y’all were talking about spending time a part, I had to pat myself on the back. In the beginning of my recovery, there’s absolutely no way that I would want to spend time away from my romantic partner and if they had told me that they wanted to do something without me, it would have been very upsetting to me. I definitely would not enjoy time without them. Now that I’m further along in my recovery journey, I can’t imagine not needed some space. I love being with my husband, but it’s so nice when we do our own thing and I can hang out with my friends being all weird and laughing at all of our inside jokes that my husband wouldn’t get. I no longer get jealous or insecure about what he’s doing when he’s away from me. Learning to love myself and my life was key to knowing how to have fun without my partner.
Anyways- once again- a really good episode. 😇

Many women on bpd have back up supply. The fear of abandonment is what drives this. How do the men "support' that?
