Just to say, thank you so much. I've been trying to get gold on this race for months on and off since it changed to bop. Tried 20 different cars, followed other people's advice with no luck at all. Tried it following your advice and instantly found using the gt40 was faster. After about 5 attempts I finally got gold today by 0.5 seconds on hard setting. Thanks again, I found your video was very well made, very informative and easy to follow. 👍👍👍👍

I raced this track with this same car in the daily race and won by 3 seconds over the field, didn't get any penalty's but after the race was finished it showed I had finished in fourth because of 1:00:00 in penalty's. I don't quite understand that unless I was secretly penalized for hitting the grass in the bus stop. Your right though, this is the best car for this race.
I the Daily Race C, you need to pit. If you do not, you get a one minute penalty. I usually pit for a splash of fuel but ignore the tyres. I am surprised that you managed to run the race without pitting to be honest. You must be really good on fuel saving. The bus stop track limit penalty is usually 0.5 seconds, but I got a 1.5 second penalty last night for multiple infringements.
After you explained how the fuel map worked I've been using and it really pays off. I ran mostly on 2 than on the last lap I saved enough to drop it down to 1 with some extra power. I didn't realize you had to make a pit. I've won twice but now, again thanks to you, I know why I didn't win after all. Thank you Mitch, appreciate all tips you give. @@playstationracer67
I am pleased that my videos are of some use to some people. It makes it all worthwhile. I was told the other day that I was wrong to put these educational videos out because I was not experienced enough to be a tutor (not that I think that I am or aiming to be), so it is nice when I get comments like yours and find that they are helping a few people.

I've made a lot of video's and believe me Mitch, no matter how good the video is or what it's about there is always some miserable person out there who try's to make you feel as miserable as they do. If they don't like it, don't watch but you can keep your opinion to yourself. I give you a lot of credit and to be honest I think you do a great job and you have never claimed to be the best. Ignore the trolls and keep doing what you do, you've helped me a ton.
👍 IMHO Easy / Normal / Hard settings are irrelevant in spicy / chill races. Difficulty is always set accordingly to number of peppers. 🌶 easy vs 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 super hard.
This game is kind of a bummer now, I pick a car that shouldn't have an issue and is tied in PP but gets nerfed into the race and then all cars are faster. This is what pushed me to Forza.
Looks like it was you not swapping fresh tyres that won you the race, not so much the car. I am going to try this with the Genesis. That might just be the only other car that can keep up with the Ford.
I did try the Genesis but I could not get first only a podium. Good luck and please let me know how you get on. The Peugeot VGT is doing well in this weeks Daily C at Daytona, so that might another option, but I did not try that car.
Struggled with this one for a week. 😂 (Controller) Tried it a dozen times with different cars (Ford GT Race Car was fast with good grip but i used to much fuel and burned its rear tires to fast, Mazda RX Vision i won almost 2 times but also my rear tires where completely destroyed on the last lap) but i finally won on normal setting with the Genesis. The Genesis is very kind on its tires. (TC set on 2) Fore most of the race i used fuel map 2 and breaking balance +2/+3 backwards. (Depending how good your rear tyres are) Lap 5 before my pitsstop i used fuel map 1 and the last 1,5 laps also fuel map 1. Pit for fuel only end of lap 5. I managed to stay within 2/3 seconds of the leader, after the pitstop you can catch the leader but don't expect to drive away from them. The last lap they always come back at you. (my experience) In the last lap the AI drivers are completely crazy in the last chicane, be careful or they will ram you off or you'll spin if you try to block them. It happened to me a number of times, very frustrating. My tactics in the last chicane: Dont try to block or out brake them! If you are in 1st place let the nr 2 and nr 3 car pass you by on the inside under braking (they will brake way to late) and then watch how they push themselves on the grass) and just focus on getting your own exit right so you can maximize your exit speed, you will fly right by them. For the last sprint to the finish line just block the cars coming up behind you. Don't let them pass underneath! 😄👍 Next stop: Mount Panorama. 😄💪😎
The Genesis is a great car and thank you for sharing this tip with everyone. It is always great to have different options in here for people. What works for one person, might no work for another, so the more comments like this one, the better in my opinion. Thank you so much for sharing this.
I am not the fastest racer, so I am sure that this is more than possible to run the bus stop cleanly. That said, racing drivers are always looking for the quickest line through the corner and if that means cutting it and not getting a penalty that’s what people will do. Just look at the formula one at the moment they are all cutting the corners as much as possible. So is it cheating?
I get it - abuse the track limits if you can. But - this race has no penalties - not like a “real” Sport Mode race - so where do you draw the line? The cut entirely through the grass would be a 1 or 2 second penalty. What if I completely ignored the track limits (it would be easy to do on this track) - would you really feel like you beat the race? Not me. What about Gr3 Cup at Bathurst? Do you completely skip the chicane at the top of the hill? In the Cup race you don’t get a penalty - so all good? This is all moot anyway - I beat the race - fairly - using the Corvette.
Well done for beating the race and in a nice car choice too. TBH - I really wish that PD would enforce the track limits and PP limits consistently across the game.

Cutting the corner at the bus stop is cheating - plain and simple. So is it impossible to win this on Hard completely clean?
I am not the fastest racer, so I am sure that this is more than possible to run the bus stop cleanly.
