I do believe that some level of luck comes into a lot of these races. Also, just restarting the game helps where the opposition is changed and sometimes a fast car get stuck mid pack. I have never quite got my head around that, or that the weather often gets better the more times you try without restarting.

Hi Eddie and thank you for this insight. I have not used the controller for decades, so a lot of this is unknown to me, so I value you sharing this with people.

A lot of people tell me that they never knew about the ghost reset, yet it it so useful when you are chasing someone much better than you.

Sometimes I can spend hours trying different cars. For me it is part of the challenge, for others it can be a frustration. It is pretty much why I started producing these videos, just to give people a suggestion, but I love to hear what other cars people have used.

Agreed - However, the first time that I tried this race, I did not have nitrous available to me. However, I did still go on to win with some pretty manic racing. Nitrous is the way to go though, as you say.

Thanks mate. I do not plan to make this a scheduled regular thing. Instead, I'd like to produce these on a regular basis based on our best, most exciting races called out by all of us. If something is called out, I watch the replay. If it excites me, or a story pops into my head to underpin a narrative, then I'll produce one of these.

Rage quitting is never advisable but very understandable

Some of these races are brutally hard, to the point of not being fun. Highly rewarding when you do finally get the win though.

This one is super tough. If it does not bother you, just choose an easier difficulty and just get it done and move on. If not, try restarting the game. The weather often changes and you might find it less wet. Otherwise, it is the old chestnut I am afraid, try try and try again. Practice makes perfect. Oh and don’t forget dirty tactics if you are not worried about such things.

There are a few of these races where the AI is super tough to beat. It is crazy that some are childs play to win and other night on impossible for many of us. Some of these races have taken me hours and hours to win on medium and hard. It is only since racing with the PSR guys in our lobbies that I have managed to get more consistent and quicker, so that these are easier for me now.

You will find that PD adjust the PP settings for a lot of the cars between upgrades. There is therefore often a small difference to my videos now, and especially some of the older videos. Sorry. Just adjust the ballast or ECU to bring it in line.

There are lots of people that have used the red bull logo and there are loads of red bull liveries already done for loads of cars. Personally I would search for a graphic in the livery editor first. If you cannot find what you are looking for, you can have a go at creating your own svg file to upload and use.

Definitely, it is a super car. I have it in the randomizer for a couple of tracks but I would welcome your thoughts on other tracks that you'd like to run it on.

Rick, I’m sorry to hear that but we’ve all been there. I’ve made this mistake two or three times in the game. Sometimes you just have to go off and grind one of the grinding tracks to build with the credits back up.
