Transmission since update: First you must have a Fully Customizable Racing Transmission from the tuning shop. 2nd, setup - Step 1 Put the Top Speed (Automatically Adjusted) km/h to 390. Step 2 Click on Manual Adjustment and set the FINAL to 2.960. Step 3 Set the gears 1st through 6th as I did in the video. You should now be able to match the gears to how I had them. Good Luck!!

Hizal starting on 9th for my attempt on all good weather, I didn't even need the full car setting shown in this video, just a strong turbo lag and slight increase of front end downforce with RM tyres. Pitted once, ended up lapping over half the field. Not sure if the physics change (since you did that 10 months ago) or any other unaware updates made any difference?
Man, i have to thank you for this setup. I was getting pissed off already that I've tried so hard and spent like 3 hours and the best i could get was like a P4. This race is so much unbalanced that i started to doubt my own skills. I gave up sometime and i started searching for gameplays of the Super Formula café menu and i found that i wasn't the only one!!! (Note: during my extense hours of humiliation by OP AIs i discovered by replay mode that they would use 1st gear to get some extra exit speed and grip on the corners, but i didn't tried to tune anything. And so your setup kinda made this gear longer and the car transformed into a drivable paradise! TYSM. again.

After watching this I didn't really care if you won or not, I was impressed with the commentary and laughing my butt off at times. I'll have to give your set-up a try because this is one of several races I cannot conquer. Thanks for sharing
Wow!!!! This is the best setup of all the different ones I tried to date... I kept coming close but I won the race on my very first try with your awesome setup!!!! Shake and bake!!!
Thank you man, I was doing 1:26s with the SF19 in hard tyres with no setup and was losing time 😂. But with your setup I could do 1:22s and even 1:21s if I really pushed with no traffic and some slipstream. Penalties absolutely destroy your race, a .5 penalty basically equals to 3 or 4 seconds lost, it's so unfair. Had to use the Aston Martin F1 Alonso livery and could finally beat it with no rain and with Hizal leading (idk why on earth is that AI so op), catches up to him on the final straight and had to use overtake all the way through. Again, tysm for the setup dude

Goated video, went from struggling to keep 4th to doing a +2 sec victory on a ONE stopper, the glorious Japanese sun haunting me till the end, not a drop of rain and I was still able to beat this. Thanks so much for this set up bro, saved me hours of frustration and probably a controller too.

I didn't follow your race start completely, nor your tune. But they help me set my car up better. Went from p3 on a med/soft strat to winning by more than 10 secs. New pb lap time of 1:22.4. Thanks brother!

You sir are a god send, i struggled with this race for hours using the sf19 on so many differnt tire and pit combinations. Couldn't progress the game because of it. Couldnt do better then 7th place on controller. 1st attempt with your suggested setup i got 4rth. Cause of some bad driving habits and a poor tire choice. 2nd run through i got 1st by 6 seconds. Used this setup and finally made it on hard difficulty. This setup is amazing, I can feel significant difference at low-medium speed corners, lap time improved by 2 seconds. ❤

Great setup! Thanks a lot for that. Best I got before was 6th and with your help, I directly went 1st. Soft until 8th, rain had already started, went to Intermediates and won with 18 seconds. Where my best time all over was 1.260. And later I noticed, that Hizal took also part and finished 3rd...With the rain you can be really lucky. They all took Heavy Wets and when it dried up, they couldn't do nothing. Thanks again, great help 🎉
a very good setup, I succeeded after 14 attempts. I was taken off the ideal route many times by the AI. in my scenario I. Fraga was the main competitor. The rain was only on a few turns. In the 7th lap, Fraga was in front of me and entered the pit. I entered as well, put on soft tires and then recovered. I finished 2 seconds behind the 2nd place. Thank you!!!! The car drives very well.
Previously got only P14 at max with the '19. Followed every bit of your advice and voila! 1st place by more than 8 seconds! I'm forever indebted to you sir :) PS. version 1.46 and still works like magic!

Can I hit the like button.more than once to show love? *Subscribes* I had been struggling with this in the Honda 19, everyone said use the 19 not the 23.... The 19 got me 10th place at best and oddly it never wanted to change out of 4th gear no matter how I tuned it. But you sir... On your advice I spent for the 23 and adjusted it per your specs (1.44 update, it still works) and I smoked everyone by lap SIX!!! Thank you sir!! Oh and love the charisma & humor, not too much just right! Great channel!

I'm an average joe racer, my lap times are around 1:26. This setup is way more drivable than the twitchy factory setup. I'm sure I'll get the win with some more practice. Thanks for the setup tips

Absolute lifesaver! Spent ages using the SF19 and couldn't get much higher than the 5-10 range but this car/setup change got me 3rd and finished my final menu so thanks a lot. For some reason I wasn't able to adjust 1st gear to less than 2.599 but that might have been an error on my part, either way it worked out and I actually was able to catch the AI.
Ya, a lot of folks are having the same issue. I think there was an update that messed with the gearing a bit. Great job on completing your final menu! 😁👍💪🥳🥳
Thanks for the help! The info about which drivers to avoid was really useful, in combination with rain (first time I’ve ever seen rain in like 6 or 7 attempts).

Great tune man. I wasn’t able to break in to the top ten and I wan on the verge of throwing a controller. Using this tune, I finished with a 21:56 on said controller. You are the man and earned a sun from me. For anybody that is having trouble, shifting down to 1st gear is imperative. That strategy makes this tune work like magic. Too easy!

Thanks bro! I managed to win with your setup. Before the setup, my racing pace with softs was 24.5 with a high degradation. After the tuning, the went to 23.1.
Thank you for this. I had been trying this race for like 2 days straight, but couldn't even get top 3. With this set up I got the win on the first try👍. My tires did get absolutely destroyed and I had to play the last lap super dirty. If it was a real race I would have gotten a lifetime ban😂.
This race is soooo unbalanced. I'm a huge gt fan but when it comes to this race idk what tf the developers were thinking. A rolling start on fuji starting in last with formula cars? How stupid.... whoever had the idea of this race really don't need no raise for awhile.
This race was the reason why I almost became a KIMI-VELOCINI wannabe. If I finish this race before going into an online race (luckily won't happen both because of KIMI-VELOCINI himself still appearing and because of PS+), please avoid me, for my insanity would tell me to force you into a pit wall.

Thanks for the set up man, a certain oval race has brought me back to gt7. Rain and a brain fart cost me the win, i went on inters and had a good lead but stayed out 1 lap too long and spun out. After a 2nd stop i had 4 laps to close 10 seconds, which i did but crossed a white line while pushing. Got overtaken in the slowdown zone because of a 1 second penalty ......... a few yards from the finish line. I was only after the menu book stamp though, ill clean it up at a later date.

This setup is excellent but I think it all comes down to if the front guys are running the hards. Couple of attempts all resulted in some P3s behind guys who did a 0 stop race but finally got lucky and had a rain affected race. Good video!
God bless you mate! Thanks to your setup I managed to win the race on hard difficulty without any problems. I've used soft-soft strategy, changed the tires in lap 7, but if you preserve the rubber well, easily you extend to lap 8 or 9. This setup really helped my aggresive driving style, without it I don't think I would take the win here. Cheers! 😊
Amazing setup. The car feels so stable. Lots of control. EZ win. 21:06 first try. Drumont super fast and on no stop strat tho. One more to avoid in the initial top3, I guess
Must always be pushing the limits! 😁👍 Did you get it done or still working at it? Takes me awhile to warm up to the high downforce cars. Have to put a lot of trust in the aero.
@@geauxgreddy Yes. But I guess wet conditions during half of the race helped me finishing on the podium. It's important to stay in slipstream before wasting too much overtake energy.
Yes! Finally beat this. Great tune and tips. Horribly inconsistent race. I came 2nd with 1st getting a 20:59:00 then the next race I won with a 21:22:00 (which was slower than my 2nd prev race) bloody AI...
Thanks for the setup! 32 seconds ahead of P2 for the WIN! Also didn't know I owned NOS overtake on a car without purchasing it. The racing intermediate tyres worked! I used the rain to my advantage and gained a MASSIVE lead when I pitted 7th lap to change from soft to intermediate's.
Jesus Christ, these super formula races are like a completely different game. Crushed the entire game on hard mode, can't even hardly finish a race with these.
My manual racing transmission will only let me adjust 1st gear to 2.599 and higher. Not sure what's gone wrong. Has their been an update that limits this? If I put top speed to 390, then I can get gear numbers. Also I get 1:24-1:26 lap time so I'm probably not skilled enough yet.
Set the speed to 350 km/h then go to the bottom of the manual adjustment screen and adjust the Final Gear Ratio to 2.960, then adjust your individual gears to what I have. That should work. Keep at it, your times will come down. 😎👍
This works with the SF19 too. It makes it way less fun to drive but it works. I had a 3 stopper, lap 8 for inters and then lap 11 back to slicks. Won by 17 seconds

I gave up brother , I have just the console remote and my thumbs 👍 hurt and raw . best I could get is 2nd place . Least I completed it . Thank u again so much . The tune really did make all that difference. I think MY KILLER is MY TIRES . I can drive fast enough and be in the mix and not ware them out . Of course if I’m in any OTHER RACE I’m not front I can set pace I can slow before and shift down and really save tires as much as possible . But I can’t drive conservative enough to save them and stay n the lead . MAYB I SUCK 😢😢 and I’m just not that good . I’m ok w that. I did that race least a dozen times or more . Ton of 2nd place and what gets me mad 😡 is if I go NO STOP w hards THESE MFS go no stop as well I’ve tried it all just can’t get it . I’ll settle for I was able to complete the menu and race no gold but oh well . thank u again

Thank you for this video . I couldn’t get out of being last 😢 I got 2nd and I was 3-4 secounds behind the leader . after 3 try’s from watching this video . I had done it 4-5 times before and got last . I beat myself cause I got like 2-3 penalties n pit lane or else that 3-4 secs he had would have been 0 and I think if I do again and dnt get penalties I can win. Just wanted to say THANKS cause I completed that menu BS now I just want the GOLD cause it’s only race I dnt have gold in

Spent ages using the SF19 and couldn't get much higher than the 5-10 range but this car/setup change got me 3rd and finished my final menu so thanks a lot.
For some reason I wasn't able to adjust 1st gear to less than 2.599 but that might have been an error on my part, either way it worked out and I actually was able to catch the AI.
Ya, a lot of folks are having the same issue. I think there was an update that messed with the gearing a bit. Great job on completing your final menu! 😁👍💪🥳🥳

Great tune man. I wasn’t able to break in to the top ten and I wan on the verge of throwing a controller.
Using this tune, I finished with a 21:56 on said controller. You are the man and earned a sun from me. For anybody that is having trouble, shifting down to 1st gear is imperative. That strategy makes this tune work like magic. Too easy!

Thanks bro! I managed to win with your setup. Before the setup, my racing pace with softs was 24.5 with a high degradation. After the tuning, the went to 23.1.

Good to know it's borderline impossible to beat when M. Hizal starts in 3rd! I've been putting down 22s - 23s constantly and can never make it close!

This race is soooo unbalanced. I'm a huge gt fan but when it comes to this race idk what tf the developers were thinking. A rolling start on fuji starting in last with formula cars? How stupid.... whoever had the idea of this race really don't need no raise for awhile.

This race was the reason why I almost became a KIMI-VELOCINI wannabe. If I finish this race before going into an online race (luckily won't happen both because of KIMI-VELOCINI himself still appearing and because of PS+), please avoid me, for my insanity would tell me to force you into a pit wall.

I think they patched something with the gear ratios, now if you lower the final to 2.960 it forces 1st up to 2.599
I think so, try a starting kph of 390 instead of 350.

Thanks for the set up man, a certain oval race has brought me back to gt7. Rain and a brain fart cost me the win, i went on inters and had a good lead but stayed out 1 lap too long and spun out. After a 2nd stop i had 4 laps to close 10 seconds, which i did but crossed a white line while pushing. Got overtaken in the slowdown zone because of a 1 second penalty ......... a few yards from the finish line. I was only after the menu book stamp though, ill clean it up at a later date.

This setup is excellent but I think it all comes down to if the front guys are running the hards. Couple of attempts all resulted in some P3s behind guys who did a 0 stop race but finally got lucky and had a rain affected race. Good video!

I've used soft-soft strategy, changed the tires in lap 7, but if you preserve the rubber well, easily you extend to lap 8 or 9. This setup really helped my aggresive driving style, without it I don't think I would take the win here. Cheers! 😊

It's important to stay in slipstream before wasting too much overtake energy.

Yes! Finally beat this. Great tune and tips. Horribly inconsistent race. I came 2nd with 1st getting a 20:59:00 then the next race I won with a 21:22:00 (which was slower than my 2nd prev race) bloody AI...

Thanks for the setup! 32 seconds ahead of P2 for the WIN! Also didn't know I owned NOS overtake on a car without purchasing it. The racing intermediate tyres worked! I used the rain to my advantage and gained a MASSIVE lead when I pitted 7th lap to change from soft to intermediate's.

My manual racing transmission will only let me adjust 1st gear to 2.599 and higher. Not sure what's gone wrong. Has their been an update that limits this?
If I put top speed to 390, then I can get gear numbers.
Also I get 1:24-1:26 lap time so I'm probably not skilled enough yet.
Set the speed to 350 km/h then go to the bottom of the manual adjustment screen and adjust the Final Gear Ratio to 2.960, then adjust your individual gears to what I have. That should work. Keep at it, your times will come down. 😎👍
My top speed was already set to 350 so nothing needed to be changed. But I'm also stuck with first gear not going below 2.599

This works with the SF19 too. It makes it way less fun to drive but it works.
I had a 3 stopper, lap 8 for inters and then lap 11 back to slicks. Won by 17 seconds

I gave up brother , I have just the console remote and my thumbs 👍 hurt and raw . best I could get is 2nd place . Least I completed it . Thank u again so much . The tune really did make all that difference. I think MY KILLER is MY TIRES . I can drive fast enough and be in the mix and not ware them out . Of course if I’m in any OTHER RACE I’m not front I can set pace I can slow before and shift down and really save tires as much as possible . But I can’t drive conservative enough to save them and stay n the lead . MAYB I SUCK 😢😢 and I’m just not that good . I’m ok w that. I did that race least a dozen times or more . Ton of 2nd place and what gets me mad 😡 is if I go NO STOP w hards THESE MFS go no stop as well I’ve tried it all just can’t get it . I’ll settle for I was able to complete the menu and race no gold but oh well . thank u again

Thank you for this video . I couldn’t get out of being last 😢 I got 2nd and I was 3-4 secounds behind the leader . after 3 try’s from watching this video . I had done it 4-5 times before and got last . I beat myself cause I got like 2-3 penalties n pit lane or else that 3-4 secs he had would have been 0 and I think if I do again and dnt get penalties I can win. Just wanted to say THANKS cause I completed that menu BS now I just want the GOLD cause it’s only race I dnt have gold in

@@geauxgreddy went back in today and finally beat it. Went a little unorthodox and used RM front/RS rear tires for the first stint since I chew up fronts like no ones business. That allowed me to run 9 laps before pitting. Thanks again!
