      @@basilgaizka4672 our brain and nerves send signals to our muscles to respond to what you want it to do. Muscles are nothing more than the mechanical function of our body, they have no mind of their own. If I wanted to pick something up my brain( nerve) sends signals to the muscle to do so. If severed your nerve ( neural response ) to muscles, they would atrophy and die because there is no connection. You can think of this as a cord charging your laptop, if there is no electricity running through the power cord to your laptop (mechanical) then the laptop is useless. Muscles don’t have a mind of there own… bro.

      No where in this video do I see struggle. Every olympian athlete treats every Rep with the same intensity. Even klokov said, you would think 40 kg Deadlifts are his max 1 rep because of how he treats the rep. Even here when he doesn't commit for the rep, its not lack of strength, something else.

      @@OsmanDisli88 dude give it a break. Anyone in the world, whether on gear or not, that took an entire year off would have similar if not worse drop off from elite, let alone WR levels. Yes if you’re an avg dude (which I’m assuming you are) used to only deadlifting 100kg you could probably still deadlift 80kg even if you took 5 yrs off. Doesn’t work like that for the elite whether they are on all the gear in the world or not.

    • @chadliampolley6991
      @chadliampolley6991 2 роки тому +5

      That's not the point, at least I don't think so. These are clean-style deads. They emulate the first/second pull of oly lifts, positionally, just leaving out the triple extension explosion.
      Lower hip position, more leg drive, pulling in towards the hips, soft-ish glutes at the top.
      Whether or not Lu would pull more with whatever his powerlifting-specific pull would look like I couldn't tell you. Lu couldn't either: he's probably never tried.

    • @icy3037
      @icy3037 2 роки тому +8

      @@chadliampolley6991 yeah i think that’s what the comment was trying to say. We’re all just letting the people who aren’t into weightlifting know that Lu’s doing these deads for clean specificity, just in case people are comparing these numbers to powerlifting numbers.
