I love how everyone of the other lifters thats watching LU lift is completely still for a moment like they just pause for a sec to watch him
Literally the biggest body and strength transformation I’ve ever seen in 9 weeks. World class, so fun to watch.
what a comeback , greetings from Serbia 💪
This is greatness we are witnessing
The difference from the first day on the treadmill to now is CRAZY! When looking back on this next year this time gonna be one hell of a documentation🔥
I hope he keeps it going. Some have said he's said he will stop documenting after a few weeks
@@happygingertime even if he does, we all got to witness the process up until now. The comparison from the last video he uploads (if he stops) till 2024 will be mind blowing
look how fast those muscles coming back, CRAZY!
@@fatpajama you see all that acne on his back .. those muscles didnt come back fully naturally. He can get off cycle by the time testing starts and pass the drug test easily.
@@Jeffdachefz I mean, if he works hard enough with same mount of protein intakes that for a prolifter, the strength and muscle would be recovered at same time without drugs, i been worked out for 7 yrs and there was a very bad motorcycle accident that happened on me couple yrs ago, I took almost a yr to get back to gym and i recovered 8kg pure muscle in only 3months. So my point is for a long term trained consistency person, the muscle memeries would help u easily recovering from a long break. But honestly, Lu took that kinda fast af, yeah so probbly ur right about it.
🏆🏆🏆 cheers from Canada.
I always find his footwork on the first weighted set of front squats interesting. He adjusts his foot positioning in each rep to find the sweet spot for the following sets. Watching Lu is inspirational and makes me want to dabble in olympic lifting! Go smash it 💪🏽
Picking up oly lifting has been the best thing ever for me both physically and mentally. It's challenging in both aspects. Definitely recommend
@@zozo5065 one day I will incorporate it into my workouts. I’ve done general gym training for 13 years now (on and off) doing the usual back and bis, chest and tris, legs etc. but now following my first proper program, 531 BBB. A lot of fun, so can only imagine how fun olympic lifting could be! 💪🏽
Ya he inspired me to lift heavier and do more complex lifts.
Good luck dude!
I started doing that but for a bad reason. I haven't been lifting for about two years and my full squats were fantastic actually. So my mind knows what to do but my Achilles's don't have the mobility + elastic power I used to have. I also just started stretching again but for now my heels shift trying to find that sweet spot of not my best but I still got it without getting injured.
Big difference in 9 weeks. Both in strength and size.
Never say the word out loud
@@nsk1520 They have the best cafeteria with highly optimized lunch
@@nsk1520 what word? wucao?
@@nsk1520 Lots of juice 🧃 😋
Must be eating a lot of honey and yoghurt.
These videos get me so pumped up for my next session. The music, the bar slams, the grunting... LET'S GO!!!
😅😂
130/140 after 9 weeks??? Mans just regained more strength and power in 2 weeks than I'll have in my entire life
the power of anabolics
@@canadiandrumer The entire Olympic lifting game is juiced my man. Regaining this much strength in 9 weeks is damn impressive even with gear.
He has been doing this for almost 20 years.
muscle memory. adaptations will be faster juiced or not
Well that depends on what lengths you’re prepared to go.
That guy is getting stronger and bigger at an alarming rate he is going to be in top form in 1 year
More like 6 months
Steroids :)
"muscle memory" and a good ol' dose of the sauce probably
I was thinking he was trying to get ready for Colombia, but there’s no way in hell he could.
@@jonmolina948 He's going for Paris 2024
Expecting this for soooooo long!
His form is so clean.
You’re an inspiration
This kid is kinda good he should join in Olympics or something
Getting his strength back real quick!
this whole series should be named, "THE REBIRTH OF THE DRAGON"

Great content! Thank you for letting us be a part of this journey!
Only 2 exercies to look and be strong like a beast
Bro the jump on week 8 to this one was unreal... What the Hell bro
Damn muscle memory is insane
It helps when the country arranges you doctors and supplements
i think this is what happens when you had the strength, and you take the period off. your body looks weaker, but then the minute u hit the weights, everything comes back quickly
Some special Chinese juice + virus
Racist nigga
Legend !!!!!!!!!!
He looks like he has monster strength
Can some1 explain why he trains the dip and row with so much momentum and short range of motion?
I imagine the main objective is to move as fast as possible and rom is secondary.
his dips has enough ROM to work his shoulders and triceps. locking out literally does nothing for you.
ROM on the row is fine, u try doing 175 lb db rows with zero momentum.
That's one hell of a floor: with 400+ pound barbells thrown on it from shoulder height.
Lu all the way!
LXJ gonna make a movie out of this comeback. I hope he does win the next okympic, gonna go down in history as the GOAT of his class.
I love these vids so much and look forward to each one. But the music could be so much better.
This is how to train ❤
PARABÉNS !! BRASIL.
The heck?? I just did 100kg deadlifts..n almost died.. he's my idol!
this guy is so legendary he has walter white on his staff.
The music and the setting takes me back to the 80s, and the training of Ivan Drago in Rocky 4.
First time in recent memory that he's stood up a heavy snatch. The way he stood it up though, speaks volumes.
MUSIC: Cutting the Line, Hampus Naeselius
Lu made more progress in 9 weeks than me in the last year and a half. I recon he knows the technic and has experience plus a full country support, but still amazingly impressive
he had the muscle memory you did not
@@tatarcavalry2342 exactly, plus the you know what
@@dvsavocs5290 Ohh no u didnt!
@@dvsavocs5290 maybe he is not blasting now it's early to do so but we can't know nearly all of them are doing it anyways
@@dvsavocs5290 Even without you know what he would have made progress quickly just because of the years of training at an elite level. His body knows what it needs to do, he just needed to build back the strength which is relatively easy to do if your technique is established
my man front squatting my 1rm like its groceries
This is an insane pace regardless of PED usage (or lack thereof). This can be explained, for the uninformed, as muscle memory. Meaning that his muscles has banked up myonuclei from training, and even though his physical quantity myofibril has gone down, his body can quickly “remember” how it was before, and if the proper force is exerted, adapt at this pace.
The transformation from weeks 7-9 has been the biggest yet. Unbelievable gains

someone knows the music in the video?
VETERAN, talent and muscle memory.
His femurs are so short that looks like a sawed-off shotgun. Less range, more power.
Pure inspiration. I watch you every week.
the technique and form is superb. Prevents injuries as well...
Note how vertical his torso is through the clean.
Does any1 know why his torso and hips rotate on the heavy 210 BS?
Insane focus and effort, Legend!
Remember he has been doing this for almost 20 years.
Lu was without training for how long?
almost 1 year
Should post the program.
Went back to week 1 and recognized a huge difference compared to this.
Anyone know the music in this video?
This is totally insane lol
He is beyond amazing
What an amazing muscle memory 😍
Come on Champ 🔥
hard work pay... love from india...
isn't it dangerous for the muscles to do those fast drops at 1:36?
完美的肌肉,完美的动作,完美的运动态度,完美的军神
his already the most decorated weightlifter of all time, once he gets his 4 gold, no one can argue until they can compare his records and Olympic gold medals, just face the facts asia, china is number 1 in Olympic weightlifting, no one can beat them, some people just won't accept it, keep being jealous and cry some more 🤣
Well done Lu, killing it!
I don't think people realize how flexible and elastic you have to be to generate explosiveness
How many hours/mins are they working out per day? From the previous videos it doesn't look like theyre training for more than an hour
I have a question: what kind of exercise is he doing at the end of the video (at 8:58 and forward)? Is it an exercise done in order to feel the wheight, a wheight which is over the actual maximum of squat, and to prepare mind and body to this wheight?
Yes, and also to improve his front rack position for the clean and jerk, and also the front squat.
They're called front-rack holds. But it is debatable as to whether or not they provide a meaningful training effect.
Its main benefit is preparing your cns for heavier weight. So yeah, your are right.
Good but where is the muscalur??
That lat pull down form 😂😂😂
This guy is an absolute beast. Inspirational lifts.
The 140kg C&J and 130kg snatch looked too easy.
Unbelievable. Professional athletes’ body are really top notch
Was imagining myself in his shoes and Im dying already.
Any idea what happened to him over the last few years?
He’s definitely leaned out, and lost muscle mass for sure.
I can watch this all day
Paris?
This den of Sorath 666?
He is still clean... every picture every mirror there is a ch trainer or agent or smthg .... this the power You can hit i you are nice.... (the ch never show you the secret.... US smb ) Great Champion and Strong!! Like a Dragon!
jesus has risen
You are a living legend!
can anyone explain why his lat pulldown and dips look so different from other fitness trainer suggested form?
I wonder how long these sessions are per day?
Any explanation as to why he is doing the dips and rows with such poor form, just seems weird compared to the rest of his technique in other lifts?
his form is immaculate. that is all I can say.
I'm very confused? It seems like as if he is struggling to clean pull 220 Kg's but I've seen videos of him strait up squat jerk recovering 220 Kg's like it's nothing?
this guy just hits a new deadlift pr every week, how does he not burn out.
His body is used to much much higher loads, remember this guy has been training for 30 years by now probably
optimized lunches
Not having to cook, drive, or do many familial duties helps
@@waxwingvain 14 to 38 minus 1 year interim retiring 23 years
He snatches and cleans some incredibly heavy weight for his size, so I'd reckon that these aren't PR's, but rather lighter weights just to get back into shape. Someone of his caliber can easily DL and squat 600+ lbs
Like -> watch
really impressive, hats off
He has zero triceps. This must cost him severely in his overhead movements by 20kg at least. He is still a beast but the lack of development in the back of arms is worrying
Its 9th week and he shot the video wearing the same pair of shoes and trouser as well his trainers. Amazing 😶
WE WANT TO SEE THE WHOLE JOURNEY!
he is God among us mortal men
Is this slow 1st pull snatch a snatch variation or is that just how they look for Lu rn?
anyone can give me link to this music ?
just here to tag along till you find it lol

旁邊肚子那麼大是孕婦嗎
All this jerk and pulling, Mike mentzer says that’s what destroys joints
he's in his late 30s btw...
over age 38 now😂 he was champion, and more wanna be a legend. see him at Paris at age 40. It is more competative in 81kg
How does he stay so thin and light rather than gain a lot of muscle weight like body builders do? Is it diet or cardio?
I don't know how he doesn't hurt himself with these pull-downs
in this case i'ts not really a lat pulldown but more of an overhead face pull, very focused on the lower traps and snap. Everyone should probably be doing these for posture tbh, though perhaps less explosively
I love learning the forms from these videos. Keep up the good work and lift safe Brother!
What shoes are you wearing to lift in?
330 isn’t supposed to move that easy…gat damn
