These playthroughs instantly made my day better, thank you for your hard work ^^ (the guitar looks sick btw)
And thank you - im made up you’re enjoying the content! 🤘🏻
The clean play through is sublime, I’m reminded of the music of Alcest or Anathema. Love it! Very spiritual and sacred sounding.
Thank you! 🙌
Standing on a roof top In California at sun set, like The Crow, just you this guitar and an amp you’re guitar soaring leads over the Californian streets into the orange pink purple sky.
🤘🏻🙏🙌
Sounded great witn that reverb. Could tell you were enjoying it. Very cool.
Yeah it sounds great on those cleans with the reverb. Very happy with this guitar! 🤘🏻
I got the Black satin version. Love it. Fits in with my arsenal well. Most metal guitarists need something like this. I like the subtle sig on the back of the headstock just like the Dave Murray Fender strat.
The black satin is really nice and I was sort of torn between the two. And yes I like how subtle this guitar is and it’s not super in your face as far as being a signature goes.
Enjoy your video and all your bullet covers
Thank you I appreciate it!
Very cool guitar mate! I love the specs on it. Also, it might be helpful to use the a drop tuner just to play around with it in a relatively normal tuning like drop c or drop b. I do that from time to time. what a beauty! the first clean riff you played reminded me a little bit of coming home by City and Colour. Also hear some bring me the horizon influences in your clean playing. I like the dark sound to the guitar. Very rich.
Thanks mate - yes it is very rich sounding 100% and makes for a great recording guitar too! And yes if I play round with different tunings I’ll just use the transpose feature in the kemper.
Same similar story here. Started with a knock off strat but like going for the beefier, chunkier bodied guitars.
But the strat style guitars are so damn comfy to play, especially ones with bodies like this with the rounded edges.
I've been eyeballing this guitar for a while and may grab one soon. I got some black Chris Broderick pickups I'd switch out with it and I think that would make it look better to me.
Yeah a few weeks on and im loving this guitar. The tuning stability is incredible. Id 100% give the JR pickups a go before swapping them out to as they're super versitle!
@@nihilist92 I’ve tried them. I think I could’ve gave them more time and they are nice but I went back to the SD EMTYs.
I also just prefer passives.
@@Colin.W ah fair point - everyone has there preference!
I loved your guitar history story, thanks for sharing!
And thank you for watching! 🤘🏻
Love this vid, really chill, personable and informative, great listening 👂 😀
Thanks Jake 🤘🏻
Hello Sir ! I'd like to ask you a few questions, if you don't mind. I've owned an Ibanez RGR321EX for several years, coupled with a KATANA-50 MkII (range price 300 EU).
I've been eyeing this Charvel for several months (I see it as my dream guitar). Playing rock-hard-rock and metal, would this model be perfect to take the plunge into good gear like this Charvel? Thanks for the video ;)
Yes I’d 100% recommend this guitar if suped up strats are your thing. Just remember though, it is a strat and plays like one, so if you’re looking for a super thin neck shred machine like an Ibanez this guitar may not be the right thing.
Alice in Chains, are AWESOME! They were influenced by King’s X.
AIC are incredible 🤘🏻
