After a road trip in the Blasphemi, the guys add a new supercharger and dyno tune the '55 Hemi-powered Chevy to over 1,000 hp, before seeing how its new tech holds up against Freiburger's old school, all-mechanical, big-block '31 Ford Model A.

Nothing compares to the OG Finnegan and Freiburger. Finnegan is just such a likable guy and Freiburger is such a geeky gear head. Finnegan's calm cool demeanor was perfect for Roadkill. This is the BEST

The whole “get out the laptop” deal is for the birds. Guys were putting shoebox chevys in the 10s without all that jazz more than 50 years ago.
AND THEY WERE DOING IT WITH A SMALL BLOCK.....nobody was running 8's with a 55 back then though.
any doubters can check the National record holders in AHRA, and nhra....I don't think the Moutain motor governing body that invented Pro Mod had as many class racers(IHRA)
If they did I never payed attention as the fact they always did everything nhra was too scared to do was what caught my attention.
When I was a teen in the 60`s those were my favorite hot rods both of those cars are fantastic.

Great episode! I love Blasphemi but I agree with Freiburger that simplicity is the better way to go. I'll take that A-Bone over the '55. The only thing it needs is about a 4 inch haircut and it would be perfect!

The F-Rod is is one of my favorite purpose built cars that I have ever seen. It is the type of car that I want to build.

Was about to make the same comment! I wonder how many miles to the $1000 it makes!! It's constantly having major problems and I don't remember ever seeing it run a decent qtr. Also I don't think Finnigan isn't the best of drivers, he needs an auto to make up for the lack of ability.

Alex's 55 is a much higher class car than Mike's though. I think the only thing he'd beat her at is repair bill, sadly.💸😭 The cadillac might be another story whenever it's done.

If you want to drag race 1100 hp with any consistency at all, you need an automatic transmission. Less parts breakage also

No way thats going to happen, Finnegan built it to be a proper old style (looking) drag car with a manual he said that in the beginning and even Freiburger has said it would be nothing without a stick.
I want to begin drag racing, so I have enrolled in an I.T. program at my community college.
Everybody misses a gear now and then. It’s always better when nobody’s around tho. 😂😂
