    Such a mild Australian accent, you almost sound British. Cheers for the video, will come in handy when I get round to upgrading the stereo in my 2004 estate!

      Is the 2004FORD FOCUS only Single DIIN _ Double DIN not likely to fit ?

      @OrwellsSon 4 роки тому

      @@rubiconnz1754 I put single din, but the old radio it's the same as yours.

    Having such hassles with this. Autobarn arguing that a 2din will fit. Me arguing that it will not fit. Less than a minute into your video and you confirm that a 2 din isn't going in.

    I took wire hanger cut and shaped them and they worked just like the tools. I put a double din in, and had to modify. Re running thru factory wiring. Hope this video helps, getting no sound

    I have the aftermarket stereo power adapter, and the fords stock adapter but I cant seem to plug the big black bulgy socket into anything. Can I just use the wire adapters used that came with the ford?

    Hey mate, thanks for the video. Did the AERPRO FP8146 SINGLE DIN FACIA KIT work? I've seen mixed recommendations with some people suggesting the FP8264 instead of the FP8146.

    I Got wire harness as urs, (not the steering wheel control)and hooked up... taped extra wires ... but my stereo's fuse keep blowing. checked all the connections from the dash using Multimeter. All r good. My one is a Sony stereo.

    I would like to switch the car stereo installed by the previous owner. It was installed with the aero pro fascia kit. Any idea how to get the aeropro out? Don’t want to be breaking anything!
    And no, never did a car stereo myself, but willing to give it a whirl before I drop $$ on someone else doing it.

      I am undecided. Most new vehicles are going double din. But a single din appears to be easier.

    Just some advice you should always start from head unit to car instead of the other way around and you don’t need to tape up any of the other wires because there is no power running through them they are just accessory wires and with the mic push bike break cable and some tape is good to use to feed the cable through you can get some for like 50p👍🏼

      Abhi P K certainly will do if you buy the SWC adapter. These are pretty expensive though (over $100) so I didn't bother.

    By the way other countries do have the Ford focus, some of those countries drive on the left, shock horror, which means (oh my God it cannot be true) right hand drive cars!!!
