Thank you for making this video. Ultimately some connectors just broke when I touched them, but alas, it's 23 year old plastic.
Amazing how clear and well filmed this video is. Nice and short too! My 4th blower setting stopped working, so using this video I managed to clean the selector switch and its as good as new again!! Thank you!

While preparing to pull the Radio and console/heater panel,I discovered a bad lead to a fuse in the engine compartment,now will pull the relay/fuse panel and fix.....

I don't even have holes for keys.. no holes at all. I don't even have the clock. It's the ZTS model with the false wood trim and kenwood radio so.. I'm lost XD no book has the answers.

What kind of bulbs does the panel use for illumination?
is there some latch or anything that tightens the heater control cables? in my car they are so short and tight i can barely fit a finger under the panel, not to mention disconnecting and reconecting them...
Maybe u can help me? living in the u.s.a./sitting in the front left seat,1 would assume the heat/air level selector knob (fan level 1 2 3 4) selector would be on the left but it ls set up for European drivers.Can they be switched arround? I will have to replace the radio soon so I will be taking it apart & I HOPE I CAN CHANGE THE LEVEL CONTROL KNOWS ARROUND THE EUROPEAN CARS HAVE MORE OPTIONS.I LIKE THEM (CLOCK, STEERING WHEEL MOUNTED RADIO CONTROLS) ETC.

does anyone know a part number or what the part is called (wire harness) that plugs into the back of the heater speed switch? mine has shown some signs of melting and i cant find a replacement.

I hate the orientation of the heater controls! their set up for right hand drive & Ford never switched it around when they 8th duped the fucus 2 the States.the speed selector switch (1234) should be closest to the driver yet, it's located on the far right side.its annoying! also its 1 consol or else I would switch the speed selector w/heat-cool selector knob,2 position it closest the the driver seat (left side U.S.A) IF THEY WERE 3 INDIVIDUAL SWITCHES, COULD JUST SWAP 2 OF THEM BUT THEIR ALL IN 1 HOUSING! I haven't taken it apart yet but, can any1 tell me if it's possible 2 switch them?
is the plugs for the clock there for the in the USA focus model I am ordering a climate control bezel from spain I have always wanted the dashboard clock that was not available in the USA but the MEXICO market focuses have dashboards clocks.

Is it easy to swap the controls over to a new panel?
The only problem I can see if they 2 panels are from 2 different variants / trim level. For example one may have a switch for air conditioning ac and the other not, and etc.
