Money is rarely that big of an issue in this game. Just make sure to sell the items you pick up that are only meant to be sold. Sure a GoldNumemon doesn't hurt if you really want to try farming for the USBs earlier, but memory slows you down enough that getting too many levels too early only works so well.

In CS that area should just be called the Digital World as it is the only time you get to explore there in the game, but that probably means its actually called something else lol.
I typically don't do it repeatedly myself because losing does take a while if you aren't low level. Guarding makes it take a while so the best I could think of is spamming attack buffs or such things that don't do damage or raise your defenses.
That is a tough one to answer since getting the Tactician USBs are random to get. If you do not use the resetting method it will take nearly your entire playthrough. If you focus on it as soon as possible you could get it going after about 20 hours or so. Lower memory can also slow you down from getting too crazy too fast.
@@airo2329 It depends on which of the two games you are playing. In Cyber Sleuth the best place is in upper level of the Metroploitan Building and in Hacker's Memory it is Under Kowloon Lv 5. @embry019 In order to beat the game, you don't need to do a lot with the farm, but if you want to make it easy and get lots of Megas the earlier, the better. Yes a Digimon needs to take part in a battle for their support skill to work. Memory constraints will keep you from getting too many Ultimates for a while but keep pushing forward and it will get easier.
@@enmadaniaisabel1552 The three active Digimon are the only skills that work. So to start the battle you could use anyone, but the final blow you need the three exp boosting Digimon up front. You cannot get 6 times just from Digimon skills.

If you are referring to timers like the Training and Development you are right, it is not true 1:1 time. If you leave the game freely running it will be. It seems that transitions (opening menus, entering battles, loading screens) pause the timer making it take longer than it would seem.
Early game getting a PlatinumSukamon on your team early will double your exp gains to help with that. Plus you can build up your farm to start getting your first Tactician USBs which will also help a lot. Though early game memory will be a limiting factor of how many megas you can afford to have around.
oh by the way, hey Rordik, got any tips for hardmode survival? while I can barely manage once I get two-three from the digilab... the getting there is a tough quest to do...
For the most part Hard Mode is just a real grind to be able to get through. It is especially tough early on because many of these tricks don't really work until you get going. A couple things to note that could help. Buffs stack up to five times and each time it refreshes the duration. Training up many Digimon so you can have teams of any 3 data types are good. As for getting to the point where you can get your first new recruits it may be best to flee from some battles when you can. The damage they do is high early on and you can't always get more healing items right away. I hope that helps.

I tried this with just 2 Developer know hows, 2hrs of restarting and got no tacticians usbs. What I got as a consolation though was emeralds. I stopped restarting at that point and just continued the story until I got 3 more farm expansion plugins in ch6 and, with the help of the emerald money, bought 3 developer know hows. With 5 Developer know hows, I got my tactician usbs without even restarting. I don't think it's practical to try this with just 2 Developer know hows. The rate is just extremely small.
I believe I have gotten one pair with 2 Developer-Know-Hows, but that is only once in over 8 playthroughs of these games. Though early in the game it can feel great to get some, the Memory Cap certainly makes it harder to get too crazy with your team early on. Once you have 5 Developer-Know-Hows you will probably have enough Memory that you can fully use them and get stronger. The easiest is with 5 for sure.

Yeah, those are the best end game places to get Exp, so they open up late. Mostly for filling out the field guide. If you get the Tactician USBs most anything can be enough experience to get you easily through the game.
I don’t know if I did something wrong, but I have everything right (10 builders, Atleast 2 developer know how’s, and I saved before the farm was done) but all I’m getting is dark guards, someone pls tell me if I missed something 😅
If you are getting the same item over and over again, either you have incredibly bad RNG luck or you may have saved just a moment too late so the item you get has already been decided. With only 2 Developer-Know-Hows is the minimum to start having a chance. 5 is a much higher chance.
If you are trying to get Lucemon, that will take some work. To raise the maximum level of your Digimon they have to Digivolve and De-Digivolve a few times. Each time will add more to their max level based on how high a level they were before they changed.
For the PlatinumNumemon, is there a specific tree you'd recommend going through? Since I was thinking going from Armadillomon for Shock first, just need to level my three Golds I have first to grab some other skills. But I kinda neglected setting up some farmers during the playthrough of Hacker's Memory and now that I am trying to get some more Royal Knights aside from Jesmon and Alphamon (Ouryken) it has come back to bite.
Typically I go for the PlatinumSukamon for early game grinding so I will usually start it from Keramon or Hagurumon depending on who I find. This will give you character reversal if you can reach level 35. If you can't on the first try then go to Vademon who will give you both Character Reversal and Nightmare III (I like to raise their INT through training to use it and cover their main weakness). If you need to go back down a quick stop at GoldNumemon for Revive isn't bad then you might have enough ABI to jump right to Platinum. Yeah the farm is an important part for getting free EXP and getting good items. It can make a big difference if you ignore it.
I assume you mean the Abyss Server in the post game of HM? It is a fine place that could possibly be used for some grinding as well, but I never found it consistently as good as other areas. The real challenges and exp would be from bosses not as much the fodder. If it works out well for you, let me know.
Yes, only the Digimon that are in your party get to use their Support abilities such as their experience boost. It only calculates the XP at the end of the fight so if you wanted to you could fight with other Digimon and right before you deliver the final blow switch to all 3 of them.

Get PlatinumSukamon early in the game. Throughout the game build up your farms to do 1000 Yen developments for Tactician USBs. Get 3 PlatinumNumemon to put those USBs on and destroy your foes.
I do not own the Switch version, but yes I hear it is quite easy to set it up and leave it idle overnight to get great exp gains. Other consoles you could still do it, just not as easy.

I answered this on another video, but I'll reply here too in case other people need it. When you gain Memory Ups they are just items in your inventory that you need to go in and use to gain the extra memory.
I don't like being op i think it ruins the fun. I use this to give my Digimon various elemental skills which requires a lot of up and down from Ultimate to Rookie to Ultimate to Rookie etc
Well hard mode is always a challenge even getting some increased XP if you want it. Though I get it, I was able to beat the game my first time without using any of this but I only got 3 megas by then end. I'm a collector at heart, so I like getting them all.
I assume you're talking about using 2 PlatinumNumemon and any other Digimon with 3 slots so you still have 9 Tactician USBs? I have done this sometimes in the past. If they aren't high level and trained up this can be helpful, but usually I have found it is not needed especially with Character Reversal to help deal with Vaccine types. It is slightly faster in battle, but losing that extra multiplier makes each battle worth less. Go with whatever feels better to you.

I typically don't do it repeatedly myself because losing does take a while if you aren't low level. Guarding makes it take a while so the best I could think of is spamming attack buffs or such things that don't do damage or raise your defenses.
@@Rordrik ohh. noted. thank you so much for responfing! you're the best!
One question if I may ask. How long did it take you to get all the Tactician USBs and the PlatNumemons?
That is a tough one to answer since getting the Tactician USBs are random to get. If you do not use the resetting method it will take nearly your entire playthrough. If you focus on it as soon as possible you could get it going after about 20 hours or so. Lower memory can also slow you down from getting too crazy too fast.
@@Rordrik Glad to say that I've farmed all the platnumes and USBs today. But may I ask he best place to farm? As of now I'm at chapter 8. Thanks
@@airo2329 It depends on which of the two games you are playing. In Cyber Sleuth the best place is in upper level of the Metroploitan Building and in Hacker's Memory it is Under Kowloon Lv 5. If you're looking at earlier game usually any new areas that open or main cases will have better than average XP gains.
@@Rordrik Thx for info, will try to enjoy the game :DD
Hello im new to the game, should I start developing the farm right away?
@embry019 In order to beat the game, you don't need to do a lot with the farm, but if you want to make it easy and get lots of Megas the earlier, the better.
If you want those Tactician USBs you'll need to find a few Farm Expanion Plugins and some money for Developer Know How's. If I had to guess I would say on average my development farm is online around chapter 7 or 8.
IM PLAYING CYBER SLEUTH AND IM WITH A SISTERMON CIEL AND PLATINUM SUKAMON BECAUSE I ONLY HAVE 60 SPACE AND HARDLY EVEN GET PERFECT LEVEL
THE PLATINUM NEEDS TO BE ON THE BATTLE TO WORK? OR THEY CAN BE ON THE BACK
Yes a Digimon needs to take part in a battle for their support skill to work.
Memory constraints will keep you from getting too many Ultimates for a while but keep pushing forward and it will get easier.
@@Rordrik
THANKS :3
SO IS POSSIBLE TO START WITH 3 PLATINUM NUMEMON AND SWITCH FOR OTHER 3 TO STACK THE 6?
@@enmadaniaisabel1552 The three active Digimon are the only skills that work. So to start the battle you could use anyone, but the final blow you need the three exp boosting Digimon up front. You cannot get 6 times just from Digimon skills.
@@Rordrik
OH THATS WHY OwO
I GOT CONFUSED BECAUSE I THINK I GOT EXTRA EXP FROM SISTERMON AND SUKAMON BUT BOT SURE HOW MANY (RIGHT KNOW I HAVE 2 SISTERMON AND 2 SUKAMON)
THANKS YOURE THE BEST :3
The annoying part is setting the timer with whatever dispositive, then for some reason said timer always finish 2/3 mimutes early than the one in the game.
how does the timing work exactly?
If you are referring to timers like the Training and Development you are right, it is not true 1:1 time. If you leave the game freely running it will be. It seems that transitions (opening menus, entering battles, loading screens) pause the timer making it take longer than it would seem.
Okay but what can I do to level my goldnumemon faster so I can make their platinum counterparts?
Early game getting a PlatinumSukamon on your team early will double your exp gains to help with that. Plus you can build up your farm to start getting your first Tactician USBs which will also help a lot. Though early game memory will be a limiting factor of how many megas you can afford to have around.
gracias!

oh by the way, hey Rordik, got any tips for hardmode survival? while I can barely manage once I get two-three from the digilab... the getting there is a tough quest to do...
@@Rordrik Half the time Flee for some stupid reason has Hagurumon do the basic Attack... I think since I posted that it kept me from getting to the eater Tutorial fight... 39 times.... I just got the body reconstructed and am now working on maxing a Botamon into Shine Greymon... Also healing Items... there needs to be more than 6 of those in the tutorial if you pick hard mode... I had 1 hp and had to make it last from the Eater fight up to the first entry into Mirei's DigiLab...
@@jakeforgey5378 I have had flee fail because of the percentage chance, but I have never had it attack instead that is weird. My first try at Hard I think I Game Overed 6-7 times trying to get to the Digi Lab. The beginning it quite brutal on Hard.
Though you are now you are past the worst of it, now just all the grinding to be able to beat those bosses.
@@Rordrik Ty soo much got 10 with just the basic start up! Restarting was a bear!! But soo rewarding after I was able to do the end bosses on chp1-3 with ease once I stated to get the hang of it!
hey Rordik, what about farming the Bronze Cup/Offline Coliseum?
You are right, that is a place that many people use to farm XP, especially early on. I always found that if you're grinding enough to be strong even the final round can take a while to defeat you so I never used it much.
@@Rordrik I just use it to farm up Kuramon and Tsumemon, alongside the rest of the Mons you face... got a farm with the Seven Demon Lords in need of making... that and I use the exp to max my team of Hagurumon, 3 platinum sukamon with a few mons in back to slowly get them to max... I also tend to rush through to chapter 3 or 4... you (can if you look around) get (up to) +15 Memory by the Kowloon LVL 3 boss's defeat so that tends to be enough to get 4 champs typically... it also lets me slowly build up my healer to be able to reach Angewomon and sub out a PlatSuka for Angewomon...
Edit:
I also use it to farm the following starters and level them up to the needed digivolution stages.
Ajax: Terriermon > Angewomon < Gargomon > SaintGargomon
Violet: Poyomon > Sistermon Blanc
Kuro: Botamon > GallantmonCM
Neru: Kuramon > Titamon
Seirra: Pabumon > Lilithmon
Mei: Pabumon > Rosemon/Rosemon BM
Bob: Poyomon > Plesiomon
Phil: Botamon > Leopardmon LM

Zoe: Pabumon > Sakuyamon
Smough: Botamon > Dorugamon
Gwyn: Kuramon + Punimon > BlackWargreymon + MetalGarurumon (BLK) > Omnimon Zwart
Irina: Punimon > Angewomon > Magnadramon
Overall 8 Kuramon, 6 Poyomon, 3 Botamon, 5 Punimon, 6 Pabumon and my Hagurumon...
Tokyo metropolitan office? Google says it's near the end of the game. Nah I'm good unless I get stuck in chapter 19 I guess.
5 is a much higher chance.
also etemon will give you nightmare III
Indeed he does. Thank you for pointing that out.
Hi. Where can i download it for android or pc? Thanks bro
These games are not available on mobile, but the Complete Edition can be found on Steam on PC.
Tokumon max out at lvl 13 and you need a lvl 30 to digivolve
If you are trying to get Lucemon, that will take some work.
To raise the maximum level of your Digimon they have to Digivolve and De-Digivolve a few times. Each time will add more to their max level based on how high a level they were before they changed.
Thank you
You're welcome. I hope it helped you enjoy these wonderful games.
What about the Abyss area?
I assume you mean the Abyss Server in the post game of HM? It is a fine place that could possibly be used for some grinding as well, but I never found it consistently as good as other areas. The real challenges and exp would be from bosses not as much the fodder. If it works out well for you, let me know.
Do the PlatinumNumemon have to be the 3 in my battle party to use their exp bonus ability?
Yes, only the Digimon that are in your party get to use their Support abilities such as their experience boost. It only calculates the XP at the end of the fight so if you wanted to you could fight with other Digimon and right before you deliver the final blow switch to all 3 of them.
@@Rordrikcould the 3 PlatNum’s be your starting line up and then you switch them to your actual battle mons? Like is the opposite true? Or do they HAVE to be there at the end of the fight
@@Michael-and-a-Guitar The Tactician USBs and the Support skills only work for your active Digimon. You could start with other Digimon if you like and then switch to the PlatinumNumemon for the final blow. Though the constant switching would take more time than I think it is worth, but feel free to try it out!
So uhhhhh how do i do this again
Get PlatinumSukamon early in the game. Throughout the game build up your farms to do 1000 Yen developments for Tactician USBs. Get 3 PlatinumNumemon to put those USBs on and destroy your foes.
Easier way to just raised them in farm. At least with switch console. Set up 2 hours and leave your game alone.
I do not own the Switch version, but yes I hear it is quite easy to set it up and leave it idle overnight to get great exp gains. Other consoles you could still do it, just not as easy.
how to get tactician usb?
They are developed in the farm at the !,000 YEN development order. For optimal find rate you must have 5 Developer Know Hows on the farm. To make it quicker to research them you can make all of the Digimon on that island Builder personality. If RNG isn't on your side you can always save and reload to change what you get.
@@Rordrik ahhh i got it, thanks for info
I really need help with how to increase my memory I have only 2 Digimon because I have no memory space
I'm a collector at heart, so I like getting them all.
cant you Use instead a full Platinum build a 2 Platinum mons
+ a Digimon what 1 shots there everything With one Shot and 3 Slots?
I assume you're talking about using 2 PlatinumNumemon and any other Digimon with 3 slots so you still have 9 Tactician USBs? I have done this sometimes in the past. If they aren't high level and trained up this can be helpful, but usually I have found it is not needed especially with Character Reversal to help deal with Vaccine types. It is slightly faster in battle, but losing that extra multiplier makes each battle worth less. Go with whatever feels better to you.
@@Rordrik its realy slower Overtime?
i thought because you 1 Shot the entire Party you are faster Overall because more Battle + i thought If you Grind for abi Points and wanna Grind some specific mons (Like example a Marineangemon With all Support skills that you wanna have fast Battles because you Go often evolve and digivolve :o)
but good to know thats still slower
@@gsnamine3958 I have tried both and not noticed a big difference. It is all quite efficient. I have not fully timed and tested it, it is all by feel.

My digifarm still at lv2, can i make tactician usb?
So long as those two goods available are Developer-Know-Hows that should be the minimum required to get the Tactician USBs. Your chances won't be as good as with all five, but should be possible.
@@Rordrik does digimon rank make difference for farming?. Are 10 megas in farm have faster/better quality product than 10 babies in farm?
@@Red-nw2yn I have no proof that it does improve it for sure, but it certainly feels that the higher the stage of a Digimon the better the results. It could just be coinciding with getting more Developer-Know-Hows later in the game.

@@Red-nw2yn Yeah I feel like you got a bit lucky getting the first set so quick, but the second set balanced it out. Good to know I was right that 2 Develop-Know-Hows is enough.

Someone knows how to get sistermon
If you are asking about how to get her it takes a Tokomon with 50 CAM to get (gained by being in battles and feeding meat in the farm typically). Though she is only available in the Complete Edition or original Hacker's Memory.
