For anybody who might be confused about what she says at 1:21:55. The sugar that she is talking about is refined ultra processed empty calorie sugar like the white sugar in a sugar cube which is added to food, not sugar in it's natural wholefood form such as in whole fruit etc. If you are eating something like beetroot or whole fruit, because the sugar is being delivered within a whole food it will give you energy as nature intended. This is because the nutrients that help your body turn it into energy, which are in the food, haven't been stripped away by processing.

'The bigger the channel gets, the bigger the guests'
    Hi Steve,
I like your channel. It's in depth, informative and interesting. That's why I subscribe. The sign off tag, however, 'The bigger the channel gets, the bigger the guests', seems to belittle the value of all the amazing people you've featured on your podcast so far. They deserve more credit for making your podcast what it already is. As do you. It's not merely the 'size' of your guests that make your show worthwhile, it's which guests you select and more than that, it's the quality of the questions you pose and so the quality of the answers they give.

Sadly, sugar is added to a lot of products nowadays...People eat more processed foods and do not have time to cook from scratch. Also, meat and plants are mass produced, grown as quick as possible, so we eat more chemicals. I do not think only glucose levels contribute to problems with our health. What you eat is what you are 😊

COVID in some patients causes hyper active mast cells which degranulate in excess releasing a cytokine storm, causing significant inflammation. Especially in the lungs which results in secondary inflammation in the lungs and pneumonia. Literally you can take (under a doctors care) melatonin which is a significant reducer of cytokine storms and inflammation to counter it. You can find this evidence on the CDCs own research as well as the world health organization. Why its not public knowledge is mind boggling. I only know about it because one of my oncologists is also a phd microbiologist who studied this very thing and recommended the same course of treatment for my systemic mastocytosis.
