I agree, I prefer zero carpet everywhere in the house, it's common in the Netherlands. It's much easier to clean and with underfloor heating you don't notice a cold floor.
Gorgeous! I love the outside because of the warm colors and the A frame. The space and structure of the inside is very very nice too - open and airy. I would just get an interior designer to completely change the decor and make it warmer 😊
Thank you for sharing yet another GREAT video showcasing a beautiful property. It’s a pleasure to watch you Jas presenting those houses. You’re a natural TV person. And of course Tom 😊. Let’s not forget about him. You’re both this show’s power couple. Answering your question about flooring, it’s DEFINITELY HARDWOOD FLOORING across the entire property for me. Yes, you have more decoration choices with it and it gives you that clean, luxurious look. Carpets are so unhealthy and unhygienic, regardless of any idea the carpet lovers try to sell you. They harbour all the dust and dust mites. Polished concrete is becoming a more popular interior design choice and it gives you more industrial, minimalistic look. Wooden floors are still my favourite, especially engineered wooden planks laid in a CHEVRON pattern. They look so classy and add warmth to the property. In terms of the garden space, YES to a hot tub and a fire pit. Also, seasonal flowers and decorative shrubs in those open, empty spaces. I look forward to your next video. Best wishes, David.
Carpet has it’s place. It’s good if you are sensitive to noise. I find it easier to keep a fitted carpet clean (short pile never the shaggy sort) rather than mess about with the large loose rugs people often put on supposedly easy to care for wooden floors. You have two floorings to maintain in one room if you do that.
I think I agree with you but only over the choice of decor, not the space. Love the space inside and out but would pluck for a less sterile interior I think
Totally classy home for the lucky owners - amazing inside and out - quality of everything is obvious- I wouldn't change a thing - staging is beautiful - light and airy, yet warm and cosy...love it
Love the modern architecture of this house. Jas always does an amazing job presenting. I must say, every time I hear the name Solihull, I am reminded of a line in Downton Abbey by the Dowager Lady, "Who knows who the next heir will be, perhaps a chimney sweep from Solihull!"
Nice contrast between the stone brick, the wooden panel and the black zink exterior. Nice brick color as well. I've never been a fan of black or very dark kitchen, it's particularly hard to clean when it's matte and dark. The gardens got great potential, it would sell much easier if they actually had some greenery there.
Love the exterior. The wood accents make it feel inviting and stops it looking too industrial. Love the interior although as many others say it does need a few touches to warm it up like rugs and less metal in some of the furnishings. The snug I would have as my adult lounge with the option to turn it into a movie room with hidden projector etc. The first room I would keep as an office as both myself and my spouse are self employed. The top floor would be ideal as the kids floor if you have them but for me it would be my Lego room and where I’d display my various collectable items.
welcome back Jas :) Lovely home agree with you about dining room and about carpeting. I can't stand carpeting prefer rugs and underfloor heating or wood floors. The kitchen was charcoal I think looks like black but more grey. I would put a full flower and greenery outside. I like the decor but missing the greenery and pops of colour in the rooms. I would leave the office as is though. Great accompanying ensemble love the jumper and palazzo trousers.
Serial Jas ass kisser 😅 did you manage to also love her poor etiquette of wearing shoes in every bedroom of this house. You must be also very much in love with her cheesy way of speaking of trying to be all daisy-woo 😂
Another amazing vid! Well done you. I have to say, the ceilings seem low in that gorgeous skylight room. Might just be the angle and/or an optical illusion... but I'd love to see this house with slightly higher ceiling height. Just me? Those white walls and ceilings are CRISP! I do love those opaque panes of glass! Pricey - but awesome!
Looks nice, im not sure i would do black n white theme throughout the whole house. Also, having white tiled floors myself, and always wanting them as they look classy, ocd kicks in as soon as a single spec of dust lands, so maintenence wise it is annoying. I think i will try wooden floor next, never had that. I still like carpet in a separate living room for a cosey vibe.
There is alot of potential there. I guess dull and soulless at the outset is the norm for new builds. The dressing room cupboards should have had sliding doors to ease the lack of space. Pros for heat pump and the first bathroom was decent. The rest needs an interior designer or someone with a creative mind to remove the art gallery feel to the place.
the glass is actually opaque when the power is turned off, and goes clear when the power is on, so thankfully if it does fail it wont be all that embarrassing lol
It’s ok this place, I like the minimalist decor & I think this is the way a home for sale should be presented. The ground floor suffers somewhat from the enormous open plan part so better use of that area would be needed I think because those other tow smaller rooms are a bit… small! The bedrooms are good but I think if the whole of second floor was the Principle suite making it an all inclusive living area you wouldn’t need to leave (this is what a principle suite should be) then this would be a greater property than it is currently, nothing wrong with it being a three bedroomed house at all.
Great house amazing exterior very good configuration of space, but I feel the decoration is a bit outdated. It’s something that I would have seen back in 2016.
The problem with this aesthetic is that it is EVERYWHERE. Down the road where I live, they are building houses exactly like this and they are not the first ones.
Not sure why the bathroom of the second room is in the middle of 2 bedrooms when the master suite has its own ensuite t&b, and the third bedroom has its own, too.
@@johna5368 spiraling crime rates, poor public transport, significant cuts to public services due to bham council being bankrupt, highest unemployment rate in England and wales. I could go on and on.

Nearly £2m to have close neighbours, what is actually quite small property, and it's in Birmingham? It's a no for me. There is a whiff of cost-cutting too with the signs of damp outside, guttering issue at the rear and just a lack of quality finishings.
@@johna5368 with the amount of lighting and electrical equipment in general in the property I would have thought that being a relatively new build they would have panels and battery storage to reduce utility bills. Honestly these gravel driveways are horrible. There's not a chance in hell you're not gonna end up with one or many jammed rocks in your tire treads every single day. Not only is it annoying to hear the sound of these rocks hitting the asphalt as you're cruising along, but they pose a serious threat for whoever is driving behind you because these rocks WILL fall out and WILL land on someone's windshield.
The principal suite looks no bigger than the other 2 bedrooms on that floor, if you took the dressing area away. When you have those giant rooms upstairs, why would you not put the principal suite there? Bigger en suite and walk in closet. Three smaller bedrooms on the 1st floor could have been all the same with a bigger family bathroom that could've accommodated a shower, not just a bath then 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
why do these houses never look like they have decent enough curtains? i want to see what they would look like when its time for bed and everything is closed. i know i couldnt live without blackout blinds and curtains

The developers cheaped out in such obvious ways. Here's why I think this is overpriced. No nooks in the showers. Neff appliances. Step-over thresholds instead of level indoor/outdoor transitions. Garage door isn't insulated. Loose stone driveway. You can see damp issues already due to poor installation - below the window at the front and on the rear dining area corner beneath the weir drain. Also, the 'double garage' looks tight. I wouldn't be offering anything over 1.5m, it would take a couple of 100k to put all that right...IMHO
Why would you spend £3000 on a privacy window that frosts up when it Will need to be frosted pretty much all the time? So people can look at your expensive bathroom when you're not there? Accident waiting to happen if you ask me. Such an odd choice 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

What's with the dark/damp patches all over the brickwork? Seen in the early front view under the window and widespread across the rear aspect.
The spillway should not work this way. Water flows down the façade and the wall gets wet. The designers screwed up a little
