I watch a LOT of home walkthroughs & with modern minimalist architecture, it feels empty, hallow, sad… not this. This is beautiful. I don’t feel like anything is missing and you can feel the culture and heritage in it. Wonderful american architecture.

All i can think of is when they sell this place is some woman hating it for having too much wood then painting it white.

This is the home I want in Heaven. It was like the design, colors, decor was made exactly to my taste. I've never seen a home I liked better. There was nothing in the home I'd change, absolutely nothing. What a beautiful home.

Just, wow. Golden Eagle (and their partner builder) never cease to amaze with each new home. The thoughtful design features and overall usability of this home take it to the next level. This is truly an heirloom home that can be passed down thru generations. It'd be nice to know how much something like this costs...I'd love to know if it's within reach for my own forever home that I plan to build about 8-10 years down the road. I don't need anything quit this opulent, but I would definitely incorporate many of the features shown here. However, I'd scale it down a bit for a more manageable size, but this is absolutely stunning, overall.

The nicest 2 bedroom house I've ever seen.
There is a third bedroom/ office and we have another version of this plan (same size) with 5 bedrooms and 5 baths.

I live in Florida and I often go look at million dollar homes during Parade of Homes Showcases. But I have never seen anything like this. Extremely well thought out. It has finally been accomplished, the home is the Model of Absolute Perfection! I would not change a single thing. I wish I had the knowledge of other words and their meanings that would exemplify the magnificence of this Architectural Masterpiece. The engineers, architects, contractors, skilled workers and craftsman in they're respective fields on every phase of construction, laborers, etc. should all be proud of the Masterpiece that was created. This is a home !!
As you showed the home, I had questions which was then answered in the commentary. Like the TV in the great room, the gas burner (CO emissions taken care of with in counter ventilation) and so on. Excellent prep on that !! Had to chuckle at the mudroom shoe storage, keeping the dogs from chewing on them. And the final - at the beginning of the video a forever home with wheel chair access was mentioned, but then what about elevator ? You made me wait until almost the end to show the elevator.

Here is my guess: $5-$8 million price tag, with property tax and insurance exceeding $30,000-$50,000 a year. Depending on location and acreage. So you will need Capital and Monthly/Yearly Cash Flow in order to keep this beast afloat! With a Net Worth exceeding $50+ million or more.
All of your estimates are very high compared to reality in Wisconsin. Glad you think it’s a premier home, though!

Rich people are insane. 😂😂 Stunning work though! I personally wouldn't want my entire house to look the same throughout with all that wood, BUT I can see the appeal. The high ceilings just make the lighting bounce beautifully off of the wood all over the house. You guys did an absolutely amazing job and it looks like it's well-made and will last a very long time which is something you don't see a lot nowadays with modern homes.
Now back to my first thought, I think even if I did have the money, a house this big would just feel too much for me. I like the ability to move around, but it's a LOT to maintain upkeep on (I'm also paranoid and would be freaked out if someone were hiding in the house 😂).

Beautiful home! Are the showers wheel chair accessible/no step, also can handicap bars be installed in bath/shower areas? Would requirement of all rounded corners to avoid skin issues be a problem?
@janicesanchez8257 Yes - the showers allow for a wheelchair to roll effortlessly into them and handbars can be installed in the future because blocking was placed into the wall for strength.
Stunning home. Beautiful timbers & rock work. The trusses are amazing. Too much wood everywhere. It is just too dark for my taste. A bit too “ lodgy” I do notice every light in the house is on. The architect integrated a lot of cool features. Not sure about the sink on the floor for dogs. That wouldn’t be fun to clean. I’m not a fan of corrugated steel as wainscoting in garage but glad to see them thinking about how bad drywall is in the garage. I’m building now and I think I will try hardie board batten vs steel and I think just sheathing all walls with that vs any drywall. Great tip on the coating for garage floors. I love your videos and these homes are spectacular.
