My ID4 first edition works perfectly. I bought it new and had zero of the glitches that are described in this video. I drove more than 60,000 miles and I am very happy of my car.
I have 1000 miles on my 2023 ID3 Pro S Plus. It's currently in the shop for brake booster replacement. My wife also has a 2023 ID4 and it needed a brake booster replacement after owning hers for 20 days. My windshield is also being replaced due to excess distortion in the drivers line of site causing severe eye strain. I have had the surround cameras stop working. Luckily I found tip online to pull the fuse and reinsert it and it brought them back online. I had a loud clicking noise in the rear passenger axel every time I used the brakes that suddenly disappeared after 700 miles. My lug nut covers on my front passenger wheel side have had 2 that fell out and all were loose on my ID4 I had to push them back in. And finally, one of the slats in the center vent under the infotainment display cracked and fell out as I was simply adjusting the direction of the airflow. My ID4 has been nothing but one problem after another. I literally just passed the 1000 mile mark. It's a shame because I do like the vehicle. I also have a 2024 Toyota BZ4x, not a single issue after 2000 miles. I also have a 2023 Model Y Performance, no issues after 1000 miles. It is really mind boggling that both my wife's ID4 and mine needed brake booster replacements. What kind of quality control is Volkswagen doing with these? It is abysmal.
Have great experience with our eGolfs, happy i didn't trade up for an ID4. A guy is selling a 23 ID4 for cheap locally and he says the car won't drive and the dealer won't do anything. Must be one of these glitchy problems and tempting if it is a manageable fix.
My Canadian 2023 ID.4 ProS AWD isn’t supposed to have Lane Change Assist in the Travel Assist mode, but it is there for a few minutes when driving on the highway before it just disappears. The dealership has had no help from VW for this problem. It also happened in the courtesy car I was given. Very weird.
First thing is engine stalling? Yeah this page/video has no clue. Sounds like they grabbed info from first 2 pages of google and had AI write them a video script smh. Bring back the REAL TOP GEAR and get people truly informed again.
My 2023 ID4 pro-s plus has many of these fun issues still. Even with v3.5 1. Infotainment system malfunction. Even with a long hold of power, bluetooth and hands free along with music does not function. Multiple times per week. Especially in hot days. 2. Window ghost and don’t roll where you want 3. Alarming error messages appear and disappear Weekly event 4. Sensor misfire without any warning. Ain’t nothing there. Weekly event 5. Hard auto braking. X3 events #vwdealer says nothing wrong. Sad
I have a 2023 ID4 ProS and it keeps having charging problems. When you plug in the charger the white light does not come on, then once in a while the light goes red. That when you get several symbols on the screen (red car, red/yellow battery, try another charger, problems with 12 volt system, and so on. Because it tell me to stop driving I call VW for tow service, then once we try to move car it starts to run ok. Car has been inabout 4 times for same problem. Anybody else having this problem.
Hi, we're sorry you're going through these problems. It sounds like you may have to take your car to a technician who can diagnose and solve the issues for you. We hope you are able to resolve them soon
I also have a 2023 ID ProS. Instead of the standard VW charter, I switched to a Lectron charger (110V) that I bought on Amazon. My house is 80 years old and I don't have very good electrical service, but the Lectron charger has worked well for me. I should also mention that I use an extra heavy duty extension cord - a normal extension cord should not be used for charging a car.
A tesla é uma merda bem pior 😂você está preocupado 😂 investiu 45.000 e agora chora 😢 o veículo tem garantia 😂... tenho pena de quem não pode ter um igual 🖕
My 2023 ProS rwd key fob batteries die about every two weeks. I’m an expert at opening the door with the backup key in the fob. I never leave home without a spare battery now. Anyone else experiencing this pain in the arse?
Hi, there may be various reasons why the batteries are dying that quickly. We found a forum online that may be helpful for you: www.vwidtalk.com/threads/keyfob-battery-draining-quickly.10968/ We hope you are able to resolve the problem
@@autoalmanacofficialI really appreciate the response. Thank you. Unfortunately, I have tried all of the suggested remedies and still the problem persists. Wasn’t looking forward to visiting my dealer so soon but I will have to
If only these were rhe soles issie: I had i.ptoper braking on highway due to wrong speed signal identified automatically, key not detected impossible to open or close the car, car boot door unable to detectnlow selling making it crash in car parks when you open it, black screen and total reboot while driving.this model is an endless demonstration of the bad quality of VW engineers

This video is old news. All the problems mentioned here are from 2021 and 2022 models.

I just won a lemon law case for my 2022 Pro S AWD. Worst care I’ve ever owned. I’ve had quite a few of the problems this video mentions.
I have 75k on my 2021 ProS, no crazy stuff going on.
Hopefully it continues that way!
I’ve heard a lot from bad things about the first editions
The price you pay to be one of the first to buy I guess
Most glitches have been fixed now

I have the 2023 awd pros, this happened to me a few times but once i press the unlock button, everything is fine! you could maybe try this

Germans are the best mechanical engineers in the world but software is hard.
Yes, even the best have their flaws
It is Chinese built
@@محمدعلي.ج I think the US ID4 is built in the US. If it was built in China, the quality would be better.
Mine was built in Germany
Ahaha...since when? Overcomplicated, odd sollutions, questionable stuff all over.....in basic terms.....they are crap.
