I have 1000 miles on my 2023 ID3 Pro S Plus. It's currently in the shop for brake booster replacement. My wife also has a 2023 ID4 and it needed a brake booster replacement after owning hers for 20 days. My windshield is also being replaced due to excess distortion in the drivers line of site causing severe eye strain. I have had the surround cameras stop working. Luckily I found tip online to pull the fuse and reinsert it and it brought them back online. I had a loud clicking noise in the rear passenger axel every time I used the brakes that suddenly disappeared after 700 miles. My lug nut covers on my front passenger wheel side have had 2 that fell out and all were loose on my ID4 I had to push them back in. And finally, one of the slats in the center vent under the infotainment display cracked and fell out as I was simply adjusting the direction of the airflow. My ID4 has been nothing but one problem after another. I literally just passed the 1000 mile mark. It's a shame because I do like the vehicle. I also have a 2024 Toyota BZ4x, not a single issue after 2000 miles. I also have a 2023 Model Y Performance, no issues after 1000 miles. It is really mind boggling that both my wife's ID4 and mine needed brake booster replacements. What kind of quality control is Volkswagen doing with these? It is abysmal.

I had mine removed on my Z31. It snap, crackles, and pops when I desire it to do so. It's legal to do so in my state.

I have a 2006 chevy 2500hd with the 8.1 engine and allison tranny. As of now ive determined it's stuck in limp mode. I did the battery cable trick and such but can't get it out of limp mode. From all the research its pointing towards the TCM being faulty. Is there a way to tell for certain that the TCM is bad? Thank you

Brake pads and rotors cost upwards of $1200. Dealerships change filters more often than 30000 miles. An average trip to the dealership is atleast a 1000 dollars, even when everything is working.

My Canadian 2023 ID.4 ProS AWD isn’t supposed to have Lane Change Assist in the Travel Assist mode, but it is there for a few minutes when driving on the highway before it just disappears. The dealership has had no help from VW for this problem. It also happened in the courtesy car I was given. Very weird.

How about the following, a possible TCM issue? 2006 GMC Envoy XL Denali 5.3L 2WD. Rare occasions, start SUV normally, shift to D or 3, Shift indicator doesn't move, but car drives, slowly but gains normal speeds, but speedometer does not register. drive to destination, park SUV for 30 min. start SUV and all is normal. Drive SUV for 3 or 4 days no problems. 5th day, the above happens. I should add, the SUV has 230K on it.

My 2023 ProS rwd key fob batteries die about every two weeks. I’m an expert at opening the door with the backup key in the fob. I never leave home without a spare battery now. Anyone else experiencing this pain in the arse?

Battery disconnect method - Can do a hard system wide reset by connecting a jumper between the disconnected batt cables. Go into cab and turn on every switch. Lights, heater/ac fan (on high), dome lights, wiper/washers, and the ignition key switch. I mean EVERYTHING. Let set 30 minutes. This saps all residual electrical charge from the entire electrical system. PCM,ECM, TCM, and any other M's will reset to factory default. Remember to turn EVERYTHING back to off BEFORE reconnecting battery.
