    Always a pleasure to chop it up with you, Jon! Thanks for the invitation and great conversation!

    Yes!! So excited to hear about cognitive functions regarding this beef!!! Especially, if you guys end up touching on the Fe ti axis and Fi Te one.

      Yes!! Glad yall brought that up Fi-Te thing at 16:26!!! (Meet the Grahams)

    Ok so clearly I’ve been living under a rock.. because I never really got into this beef nor did I know it was even happening.
    To be fair, I consider myself a metal head so that’s the possible reason why, however I love all types of music as well so I’m still shocked I haven’t heard about it.
    I was just here to get info on some functions, and left with me going down a rabbit hole from start to finish on what exactly happened. So thanks for that, guys 😂❤️
    Also… Love the break downs for the functions, it was really interesting and I appreciate how y’all went in depth with it.

      Thanks for stopping by and glad it was entertaining for someone who isn't fully immersed in the culture! I'll provide an updated video if anything comes from all the allegations because we left out a lot of the juicy stuff to maintain clarity 😅

    Irony of the the Taylor Made thing is, Drake wanted to incite Kendrick, and HE DID! 'You literally asked for it. And now you got it (drake).'

      I appreciate the Fe Ti breakdown (Taylor Made convo), because I needed understanding around that too. Thank you

      My favorite part of this interview is the Fe/Ti breakdown because it really shows that people can hear the same thing but get something completely different out of it.

    Right 11:20 (drake not understanding how rap culture goes). Kendrick did nothing different than what older rappers did. It's part of the culture. You're not supposed to get in your feelings about a rapper saying he's the best and coming for the crown(or not present that to the world anyway lol)

      Right! My friends and I were just hoping that no one gets hurt because of this fued 😀

    Omg as passionate as i am for hip hop and mbti I'm totally in for all of it!
    As for Kendrick's possible type, i clearly see ni in him (in the last part of the video you Jon explained it pretty well), so i don't see how he may be an infp even tho it is totally possible, but i think he rather is an intj (or maybe infj)

    • @DeezyRYG
      @DeezyRYG Місяць тому +1

      I personally say INFP for him! But I do agree that he exemplified a lot of Ni in how the process of this all played out. Unsure how much was his team, or just him tapping into his witch function.

  • @kellikakes81

    Drake clearly was in Fe-Ne loop messing up on his last song, getting the abuse allegations from Mr Morale wrong. Didn't fact check his Si. And made his loss even worse

  • @housecarolina
    @housecarolina Місяць тому +2

    As an INTJ i tried to watch this but i couldn't because the guest talked about a rap BEEF as if one artist was supposed to help the other artists become a better person after that person disrespected them n their family......like what???? You woulda thought Drake never said anything with the narrative he was pushing around 28:00

    • @DeezyRYG
      @DeezyRYG Місяць тому +1

      I understand your perspective, I was just also stating mine. Like I understand rap beef is what we have known it as to this day. I guess I just saw Kendrick to be above that in a way..? Yes. Family was spoken of, and it wasn’t right. But I guess it also reminded me of when I was a child and other classmates would say things about my African mom. I would get mad and wanna fight them. But my father was like “Why? They don’t know your mom. Why do you let that get to you? It’s their own insecurity showing. Don’t stoop to their level.” Again, it’s just my perspective. I’m sorry it kept you from watching the rest.

    • @housecarolina

      @@DeezyRYG nah there's no need to apologize and I will prolly watch the rest i just personally feel invested in this beef (on Kendrick's side) for YEARS like pre Control to Hip Hop Awards Cyphers til now so when I heard your point of view being from the Bronx which is the home of Hip Hop I'm like HUH?? This is what we all wanted and what the culture NEEDED. Drake has crossed n sneak dissed sooooo many people over the years that policing how he gets dissed just isn't logical to me. Once you speak on somebody's family all bets are off THIS IS HIP HOP n Kendrick TOLD him not to do it n he did so Kendrick's integrity shouldn't be stained when he was taunted Lied on n disrespected to astronomical levels. Idk this triggered me I'm sorry if I offended you I just feel strongly about it

    • @DeezyRYG
      @DeezyRYG Місяць тому +2

      @@housecarolina Nah from this vantage point I do feel you and your perspective is totally valid! I tend to speak a bit more on Drake's behalf only because I feel like Kendrick's side is heavily populated and so I mainly try and play devil's advocate in these situations, but I am not necessarily trying to excuse Drake or support him either! 😅 And I also know that my own personal values of what I view as maturity and effective yet patient ways to handle such an issue while still being assertive play a part here, but I also definitely know that this is not all of what it is and especially in what we know Hip-Hop culture to be, it is not a very popular outlook. My ISTP friend even said to me "Mannn this is HIP-HOP!! Niggas ain't tryna be mature!" Lol so I get it. And even aside from the maturity, I was really just still alarmed by the death wishes....because Drake from what I can see mainly spoke of Whitney allegedly cheating, which is wild but I was just unsure where it could leap from that to wishing death on the man? But even with all this, I am still continuing to gather perspective and understand where I truly stand.
      I appreciated you sharing yours if anything!

    • @housecarolina
      @housecarolina Місяць тому

      @@DeezyRYG your friend is me 100% literally verbatim 😂😂😂😂 I guess it's a situation to where from the outside he's wishing his death but he prolly knows so much more than we do or will ever know so honestly with the p3do alleg. N Kendrick being somebody who doesn't strike me as a liar I can understand him having that POV although it may be extreme I get it . I apologize if I came at you wrong

    • @DeezyRYG
      @DeezyRYG Місяць тому +2

      @@housecarolina Haha it’s all good! Yeah I really wish we could get more things verified and I could feel more comfortable with fully unloading against Drake as well in the same way but I guess it’s the uncertainty of what truly has gone down that has me hesitant. You definitely could be right though.
      Anyway, yeah! It’s all cool. No bad blood here. Thanks for the discourse!

    The vid started out good & ended up a$$. It's amazing when people are playing about poor Drake & his family feels, they are fine with Drake disrespecting Kendrick's partner Whitney & insinuating she cheats with his good friend and wouldn't know it.

    • @justcallmejon22
      @justcallmejon22  Місяць тому

      What I learned most from this discussion is that two people can hear the same thing but arrive to completely different conclusions. It's odd because I don't really understand the other side but I will respect it because I'm sure other people feel the same.

      Btw, I wanna clarify I’m not fine with what Drake did either. Lol I don’t know if I said “Yeah! Drake disrespecting Whitney is okay with me!” But the super slim to none chance I did--I revoke that. 😂

    You access that level of emotion through therapy and increased self knowledge. Too many disavow emotions they are either uncomfortable with (disowned) or have some judgement of (contemporary and itself problematic emphasis on only “positive emotions”. Consider the prospect that it is a healthy drive to try to stop someone abusing their power. If you considered Kendrick to know what he said to be true, it alters your response. The ick position one of you took indicates you may be more complicit in others’ immoral behaviour than you’d want to acknowledge. The is the problem of the whole INFJ etc talk, your knowledge of personality is too shallow for the claims you make and too influenced by your own bias/reactions.

      😂😂😂 I think his era has come and gone, but he definitely did reign the charts for quite some time. I love him though! ISTP king. And his latest album is sooooooo Ti.

      He's in my top 3 best rapper of all time list but man...he's had a flops recently. He will never not be one of the goats but his relevancy isn't as profound as when he just came out with the Slim Shady LP. (My AIM username had something to do with Eminem so it sounds how much of a Stan I was) 😅

    This black dude is NOT a Black American, but he uses the "I'm from the Bronx" quote to hide the fact that he's Caribbean.. No my brother YOU also are Not Like Us.... Period

    • @DeezyRYG
      @DeezyRYG Місяць тому +2

      💀💀💀 wow. This a wild comment. I’m honestly amused. Unsure what the relevance is here, but to clarify; my parents were born in Ghana. So yeah, I’m a first generation, born in New York City, The Bronx. Only been to Ghana once. I’ve been around other black Americans my whole life. If that doesn’t make me “Like Y’all”…okay I guess. But I’d recommend watching Marvel’s Black Panther again, Brotha. If anything I’m more Killmonger than I am T’Challa by this logic.

      This comment is uncalled for. Just because you don't agree with his opinion doesn't mean that he's not what he claims to be. The beauty of being human is that we all have our own opinions and that we're civilized enough to acknowledge and accept our differences. Come on man...we're better than that, be better ❤
