There are some people like him. They love to find fancy words, make salads out of it, and feeling enlightened and being the chosen one for knowing all the secret conspiracies of the world. Flatearthers, for example.
A big part of flat earth theory is just not believing everything you are told, which I fully believe everyone should do, you need to research things and backup your research with multiple sources. Don't just believe everything you're told. We don't really know if we can trust government agencies, NASA has been known to doctor photos and has some relatively shady things in its history. Where this goes wrong is people take it too far and won't believe any sources claiming that earth is an oblique spheroid, and stay as flat earthers forever, despite this being something you can prove yourself, at home, with math and logic. I suspect IQ plays a role. I believe in space travel, I believe we went to the moon, so I'm not some big conspiracy theorist but always be skeptical.
and then there are people like you, who haven't learned anything except the things they were told by others and are now judging everything by it without ever having checked what they "know". But yet you join in on the "fun" of insulting others who atleast have tried something. Congratulations you are an idiot.

@@SecretMagician At least Elon has actual science training and computing skills, which is why he could create PayPal from scratch with a buddy for millions and then take that money to talk to engineers and convince them to do stuff..... before he became obsessed with becoming the most powerful person on the planet. He's still a slimy wanna be supervillain, but at least he's not as stupid as Terrence Howard!
Terrence Howard’s claim that “1×1=2” is based on a misunderstanding of how addition and multiplication function. In mathematics: 1. Addition combines actions: action + action = reaction. For example, performing one action and then another results in two actions, a straightforward sum. 2. Multiplication, however, does not combine actions directly. Instead, it represents a grouping or scaling concept: action × group = total actions. The second number (the multiplier) is not an action itself but describes how many times the first action is grouped or repeated. For example, 1×3 means "one action performed in three groups," resulting in three actions. Howard’s interpretation conflates addition (combining actions) with multiplication (grouping or scaling actions). This leads to the incorrect assertion that multiplying one action by another yields more than the initial action, which is not how multiplication operates. Multiplication abstracts grouping or scaling-it doesn’t inherently add to the initial value. Therefore, his mathematical foundation is flawed and anything using this math is also flawed. I'll see people say crazy stuff all the time, and it always makes me wonder if someone could just sympathize, and clearly, but most importantly simply, communicate and debate high level ideas to these people, would it change anything?
@integritybeats would you care to explain anything about what you meant, or are you just someone that talks a lot without backing it up? But I think you already knew that... why not, why is everyone so sure no one could talk a bad thing into non-existence? If you went back in time and met a monster when they were a child, could you hold them accountable for the actions they haven't yet taken? Or would you try your best to teach them better? If you’ve ever spent time with someone who is in a manic episode, you’ll recognize some of Terrence’s actions. Thinking they are genius while spouting nonsense, thinking they are the only ones who see the truth that the rest of us can’t see, and saying they are the only ones who can save the universe are some of the common delusions people experience. Working 17 hours a day on a project that goes no where and barely sleeping also makes things worse. I wouldn’t be surprised if he also takes the route of saying he is the next saviour. Let’s hope that he gets the help he needs.
As a former psychiatric nurse, I agree it certainly looks like mania. And the danger of untreated mania is that the person can begin to develop psychotic symptoms, just like you're pointing out -- delusional thinking and grandiosity, both of which seem to be on display in these videos. I wonder if the people around him who might have some influence with him, to get him psychiatric treatment, are as snowed by his conviction of "genius" as the people Kahmal mentioned.
@@Prederick Yeah, it's pretty common apparently, the messiah thing when you are having an episode. Terrence seems to have been like this for years though, which is pretty alarming.
I'm bipolar and I've had manic psychosis before. Even the misunderstanding of number reads very closely to my experience. I never really *got* math on a more than superficial level so it was easy for my brain to "see" something that actually made no sense in a way that would be very obvious to anyone else, but to me it was like a world-shattering revelation and I couldn't understand why no one else would listen

I've got an uncle who is a paranoid schizophrenic. Before he was diagnosed, he also made bold claims like Terence. He would make outrageous claims that he wrote various pop songs, but the industry stole them from him. He was heavily into conspiracy theories and was convinced that they were 💯 true. Whenever we disputed his claims, he would get angry and aggressive. We couldn't reason with him, it was like he was immune to logic. With that in mind, I don't think Howard is a liar, has a mental illness.
Lost a very close friend the same way. When Covid hit he went down the paranoid rabbit holes of conspiracies. He is still alive but he's never coming back. Unreachable and I had to leave for my own wellness. Sad.
My brother is like this, and makes the exact same claims. When I hear people speaking confidently, but completely detached from reality, I can't help but think that it sounds just like schizophrenia.
Important to note. He doesn't have 97 patents. Most of them were never actually approved. Like his "virtual reality" patent. He filed it, they had an inquiry, he never responded to it, it was abandoned.
Math and physics cranks can very often have legitimate patents, but of course these are always completely unrelated to the nonsense they are trying to prove. Underwood Dudley was a mathematician who wrote a book on people like Terrence, i.e., cranks. Lots of them are middle aged men with successful careers, sometimes related tangentially to math and physics, sometimes not. They typically have no formal education relating to their ridiculous claims, and refuse to admit they are wrong when obvious errors are pointed out to them by professionals. It's actually a very interesting social/psychological phenomenon.
@Onoesmahpie What's the name of the book please, it sounds interesting? Not that this applies to Terrence (sorry Terrence 🤣), but I think we should be careful. Someone not having a formal education in field shouldn't mean we ignore them if they have made groundbreaking strides. This is quite a problem in this world in my opinion. Ofc, if what they are saying it's kooky then they should be laughed at.
Wait until Terrance finds out another equation exists: 1x1x1 = 1. After he's done integrating that in, I have an infinite number of additional equations to give him.

Terrance howards problem isn't math, its language. He fundamentally doesn't understand what most of the words hes saying mean, but he has convinced himself that not only does he understand them, he understands them so well that he has the license to redefine the rest of the worlds definitions to suit himself. He's not redefining our understanding of math or physics, he's rejecting the words we use to define the concepts. Its pretty much phase one cult behavior.
Words only mean what they mean to the next guy, so it doesn't matter what your definition of the word is, it matters what other people think the definition is. This is why pretentious language is bad for communication.
@letstalkaboutit7879there is invention thru empirical research trying to find a solution to a problem and there is imagining something. Terrance is doing the latter while claiming to be objectively correct. This is how people like L Ron Hubbard and Joseph Smith get started.

Devices only work as accurately as the instruments used to make them. Repeat adnaseum. In essenence we use a uncompleted form of math to address the universe. We know how some things interact which is the math we have established. If our "math" was not our own anecdotal phatoming of the universes laws. And it was a solidified list of universal constants that all were known to its smallest function we would be able to explain every phenomena and recreate anything. Including gravity. Anti matter. Worm holes. Stars. Celestial objects. Strange matter. Zero point energy--- Etc etc etc
@@SuperOmegaBerserker Sure, but that's a bit of a strawman's argument since no one is claiming that humans currently have a complete understanding of all the laws of the universe. It's common sense that we don't. The argument is that the foundational math principles that we've figured out so far aren't "wrong." Specifically, not wrong in the way Terrance Howard is professing. His example of incomplete and wrong was that "1 x 1 = 1" is incomplete because there isn't an equal number of 1s on both sides of the equation, and somehow that goes against nature.

He said 0x4=4 because “the energy of the 4 is still there”. And I figured out how he does “math”. 0x4=0 To you and I (and reality) that’s because it’s, 0+0+0+0=0 To him though, it’s, 0(1+1+1+1)=0+1+1+1+1=4. He thinks there’s a 4 and doesn’t realize that just means how many zeros there are. So he thinks that 1x1=2 because he sees, 1(1)=1+1=2. It’s a truly and fundamental flawed understanding of how math works…
@@yourdadhasadogfilter2505 Nah you’re just missing a little info I think. So, you have to understand that he doesn’t see that multiplying by 0 makes the answer 0. He thinks it’s like multiplying by 1, so the answer is the number that’s multiplied by 0. Meaning, 0x2 to him is like saying 0+2. Because he thinks that there is an actual 2 that can’t “be erased”. When the fact is that 0x2 is telling you that there are two zeros, it is otherwise expressed as 0+0, there isn’t a whole 2 number in get equation like there is in 2x1. Because he thinks 0x2=2 that means 2x1 can’t equal 2. Because he sees a 2 and 1 and thinks that means those numbers exist and so they have to equal 3. He thinks you HAVE to add them together. It’s ridiculous. Think of it like this, he sees every number on a page as a person wearing a shirt with a one written on it. So put two of them together to represent 2. Multiply them by zero. The answer is zero. But then say, “but there are still two guys standing there so obviously they still exist so the answer must be two”. That’s his logic. “The numbers exist their energy is still there you must have 2”. That’s not how math works lol. That’s his fundamental misunderstanding.

Unfortunately we all do bro ..but Terrance going out sad
I saw those exact comments on the JRE channel. I love trolling them about his “ground breaking thesis” that looks like a children’s book.
Terrence Howard’s claim that “1×1=2” is based on a misunderstanding of how addition and multiplication function. In mathematics:

If you’ve ever spent time with someone who is in a manic episode, you’ll recognize some of Terrence’s actions. Thinking they are genius while spouting nonsense, thinking they are the only ones who see the truth that the rest of us can’t see, and saying they are the only ones who can save the universe are some of the common delusions people experience. Working 17 hours a day on a project that goes no where and barely sleeping also makes things worse. I wouldn’t be surprised if he also takes the route of saying he is the next saviour. As a former psychiatric nurse, I agree it certainly looks like mania. Rocks DO move according to real science. Everything is vibration/energy, even the atoms of a rock. Atoms move and vibrate. Try again!
What's so Supernatural about moving? 😅
@@FilmSpook where did you read that everything is "vibration" and "energy"? according to modern physics units of energy are generally defined as work of some kind. for instance k=1/2mv^2 or the classic f=ma , there are analogues for this of course in E&M such as a coulomb which has force and distance units in the constant. but the basic idea remains it isn't energy until work is done it is just potential. likewise everything is vibrating unless it is at absolute zero, however various forms of energy do show up as waves, or oscillations that should not be confused with the vibration randomly going on from kinetic energy.

His biggest math problem is confusing multiplication with addition. Multiplication does not add or increase values based upon a number, it says, "You've got this many of this number."
Multiplication quantifies the number of units, he has confused the Unit Value with Unit Quantity.
1x1 is 1
1 Dollar x 1 Dollar is another problem entirely that requires understanding of the desired expression to indicate resulting value.

Schizophrenia's my guess.
What about schizophrenia? I have a relative that juxtaposes odd concepts, completely unrelatable to each other, and explains the connection as if it's a normal thing.
For example, they would draw a clock with hours and minute hands, and draw each minute corresponding to degrees starting from 0 to 360.
Then they would explain that it relates to some cosmic binding of their soul and without it, we cannot continue living safely.
Terrence's inverted sphere/void shapes combined somehow corelate to electromagnetic fields reminds me of that mental disorder. He explains it as if it's normal but doesn't really explain how any of it is what he claims.
@robosing225 These ppl don't really fully understand what they are saying. Much like Terrance, but on a much much lower level. The level of irony is comedy to me lol

He didn’t even understand the process of peer review.
RIGHT! It’s so frustrating to watch 🤦🏾♀️
Neil himself doesn't understand peer review, according to Weinstein.
Terrence thinks he is smarter than EVERYONE. So he has no peers.
He thinks anyone who disagrees with him either doesn't understand the truth, or they're afraid to admit it. In his mind, he is a genius who upended the foundation of math and science, only none of the mathematicians and scientists understand.
Terrance is what dumb people think smart people look like.

Dear Terence Howard, please explain why (besides being a broke ass) my ONE wallet contains a SINGLE ONE dollar bill instead of two one dollar bills?

I kinda lost it with Rogan too. Like he becomes a sensationalist follower not an explorer of ideas anymore.
@@KEN_2658Could you possibly have a delusional disorder? I think this is very likely what Terrance has
He said 0x4=4 because “the energy of the 4 is still there”. And I figured out how he does “math”.
0x4=0
To you and I (and reality) that’s because it’s,
0+0+0+0=0
To him though, it’s,
0(1+1+1+1)=0+1+1+1+1=4.
He thinks there’s a 4 and doesn’t realize that just means how many zeros there are.
So he thinks that
1x1=2 because he sees,
1(1)=1+1=2.
It’s a truly and fundamental flawed understanding of how math works…
This made my head hurt lmao
My eyes are going square just trying to process this. I think I'm ironically so bad at maths that I can't process his logic
@@yourdadhasadogfilter2505 Nah you’re just missing a little info I think. So, you have to understand that he doesn’t see that multiplying by 0 makes the answer 0. He thinks it’s like multiplying by 1, so the answer is the number that’s multiplied by 0.
Meaning,
0x2 to him is like saying 0+2.
@@jademoon7938 Oh I get what you're saying. I worded it badly, but what I actually meant was that Terrence's logic was so bad, I could barely work out how he sees things that way.
