- President Joe Biden blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin for the reported death of opposition leader Alexey Navalny. Navalny was imprisoned in Siberia, and the Russian prison service says he died suddenly after a walk.

True! A very cold isolation cell in a cruel and isolated prison in Sibiria. He didn’t get medical treatment or proper food. He could never meet his wife or his two children. He could only phone them once a week under strict surveillance and talk for 5 minutes. His mother is at the prison now to collect his body. But she still haven’t got his body. All they do is send her to different locations… and tell her that the body is there. She have been there for more then 1,5 day and still haven’t got her sons body back!😢

Older Russians (those in their mid 30s and up, therefore are old enough to remember what happened in the 1990s when their country last had leaders the West liked) will understandably be suspicious towards Western-backed "liberals". It does NOT help he is too chummy with Western officials (and has been documented going into the US Embassy in Moscow many times over the years)! That demographic will continue to be the majority of Russian voters for the next twenty or so years so fat-chance Western-backed liberals will gain any real traction among the general Russian public for a long time.
The ethnic minorities in Russia have their bones to pick with the guy as well - due to his past links with far right groups! And his plenty of racist statements against them over the years he has NEVER once recanted and apologized for will make him a non-starter for Chechens, Tatars, Bashkirs, Tuvans, Yakutians and others.
