    1 tbsp wood pressed groundnut oil
    1/2 tsp jeera (cumin seeds)
    3 cardamoms, 3 cloves, 1/2 mace, a small piece of cinnamon, 1 star anise
    4-5 garlic cloves chopped
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1/4 tsp turmeric powder
    3/4 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
    1/3 tsp garam masala
    3 cups moong sprouts
    a sprig of fresh moringa leaves
    2 cups cooked rice (i used illupai poo rice)
    Juice of half a lemon
    coriander leaves
    pink himalayan salt as needed.

      Ur video's telugu audio is really funny.
      I think u used any computarised translator. I think manual translation is better.

    Thank you, Nisa! This recipe is both delicious and forgiving. In the U.S. some of the ingredients are unavailable, but substitutions worked fine. For example, I substituted fresh basil leaves for the moringa leaves, and they were delicious. Maybe not the same nutrition, but still nutritious. Also, sprouted kala chana instead of green moong works well, and brown rice instead of the recommended rice also works well. I bet you could replace the rice with cooked millet of any variety. After the onions, you can also add other veggies. I added sliced mushrooms and chopped spinach, and I bet sliced carrots, celery, bok choy, or almost anything would go nicely. A great way to use whatever is fresh and in season!

    I tried this recipe today for my dinner and it turned out amazing and delicious. I however used bay leaf and skipped mace as I didn't have it in hand. It was so easy and quick make. Thank you for sharing the recipe with us 🙏

    Hello ma'am. I've tried your ragi roti recipe and I'm very happy how nice the roti turned out. Before that, after struggling quite much I searched for the recipe and saw your recipe and tried, the roti was so soft. I do try some oats recipe of yours ma'am. It's good. 👍

    hi. thanks for all the work you do coming up with healthy recipes. I would like to include sprouted rajgira seeds in my breakfast routine in some form. I sprout them at home and have tried upma etc but they donot turn out well owing to the water content being high. Other than a drink of some sort, could you please suggest other ways to incorporate 100% rajgira sprouts as a hot brekfast item. many thanks.

      its always best to cook/steam/boil sprouts before consuming to prevent bacterial contamination, if any. hope this helps

      Ideally sprouts should be either cooked/blanched before consuming to make sure there are no bacterial contamination. It is also easy on your digestion however, you can have raw sprouts if you are used to it and has high digestive power. hope this helps.
