Edgerunners is not only a masterpiece but is the very thing that saved the franchise from extinction. God, what I would do to see it for the first time all over again.

God it's so good. I forget most of series if long enough time passes so I get to experience a similar emotion
The acrylic standees really was a brilliant move for a starter set. It allows everyone to play straightaway, and those who want to collect and paint traditional miniatures can do that as well and just replace the standees when they are ready to go.
Ah, now I can have that good ending.

What they have done with the Cyberpunk name is something that will probably never happen with another brand/game. They reinvented everything about it with the anime, the updates, the board game and the legendary soundtrack. Love this ❤️

Awesome video, guys, keep up the great content. This game looks cool, and looks like it could be fun with the right people. A bit pricey though at 125$ for the base game + another 200-300$ for expansions and minis. Maybe I'll treat myself for my birthday in a couple of weeks.
Btw are you guys planning to release the full unedited games so we can see you play the full games on the AJlive channel? Would be cool to see the whole thing from start to finish to get a better idea of how the game works and plays. :)

The Acrylics are not prototype. They will be in the Core Edgerunners Box
Thank you for trying to be helpful! The Acrylics in Edgerunners are Standard. However the Acrylics of the Cyberpunk RED units we are actually playing with in the video are Prototypes - they plan to perhaps sell these later for those that want them and like the Acrylics in the Edgerunners set.

I think its $100 with pre-painted terrain and like 40 pre-painted miniatures. Thats actually really good. Not sure where the $250 is, is that for everything?

@@AngryJoeShow Yeah sorry I don't consider standees miniatures. They're cheap JPEG prints. The game looks great though but the original combat zone looks like a much better deal!
@@clin1calgaming792 fair enough. i own more miniatures than id like to admit and how much money ive spent on them is embarassing, but these actually grew on me. Now i think acyrlics are the best option until you can get things assembled and painted or for those that dont have time omto.
@@AngryJoeShow I'm only into miniature gaming for a year now and I already spent way too much money, so I get that and I think standees are a decent alternative for non hobby games. But I think these are 'hobby' miniature skirmish/war games that kinda require them. I think standees would be a nice bonus more so than a replacement.
