This bike sounds like a fun bike to ride going from zzr 1100 Kawasaki to a vstrom 650 even tho it’s not massive hp or torque I can appreciate the low to mid range torque from twin engine bikes
The funny thing is I want this so bad, and it's the first stock exhaust I've heard that I didn't feel the need to replace instantly. Also it has ride modes did you have it in B or C cause no bueno
I demo this bike at cota and it was a big torque difference from my cfmoto 450ss. Understand its a bigger engine but if i was feeling all that torque in 1st and 2nd gear, i wonder what ill feel like without the restrictions.
So is it all flashed too the ecu or is there a piggyback system? It’s big but I’m just curious if how the tuning can be done. I remember doing my own bikes where I couldn’t control below a certain rpm no matter what the fly by wire or ride by wire depending upon what your driving I guess was only able to be tuned at certain parameters
dang i miss the early/Late 2000's and the looks of the bike, loved the gixxers, cbr's and ninjas from that time. IMO the new bikes just don't look as apealing as the older ones. A new GSXR750 with the stuff from the new bikes tech would be sick.
My bike, I’d do the ECU tune (with air filter) and skip the bucks-up full exhaust system. You’ll feel the exhaust system does a lot, but it’s mostly going to come from the weight loss of removing the stock pipe.
If you're bike is track only, then I guess I understand fender eliminators (weight?) and tiny/basically no turn lights. If you ride on the street, I would think sufficiently alerting people behind you (whose visual acuity may cover a broad range between "tack sharp" and "Matisse painting") to your presence, present state of forward movement and intentions to change direction would be important, if not paramount. Thereby, reducing the light size and separation doesn't make sense... But then I remember how often I see people on motorcycles in my area using turn signals...
I have been riding a 2016 GSX -S1000 since 2017. It is of course Moore Mafia tuned. I really like the 8R and have thought of getting one. The 8R is almost exactly 1/2 the HP of my current ride and about 2/3 of the TQ. I do like to blast up to redline in the firs two gears on the 1000 occasionally. OTOH, I really like a twin cylinder bike and the 1000 at times is just too much to truly chill on it. Does the 8R have enough performance to keep a liter bike owner happy?
Does this bike sit more upright that a traditional gsxr? Seems like the handle bars are a tad higher and seat is lower. I have a bad back so I’m looking for something that isn’t as low as a traditional sport bike.
The biggest thing is to lean over further and grip with your knees, taking all weight off your back and wrists, absolutely doesn't help to fight the bikes ergonomics to sit up. Otherwise naked bikes are basically the only good sporty upright seated bikes since you can at least still stand on the pegs so your back doesn't absorb bumps, but you loose a lot of feel.
@@vtxgenie1 I get that and it makes sense. I used to have a f41 back 20 years ago and I was always hugging the tank with my thighs and leaning around. Not real trying to do that type of riding anymore. Not even this Suzuki 8r is even really on my radar anymore. I’m about to pull the trigger on a xsr900. Just a completely different style of upright position that you can still get after it with.

i love the way it sounds.
It really is a beautiful bike to have. I can’t wait till someone adds a turbo to one . The bike looks really light so yeah it should pull really good
In otherwards, to break it in : Ride it but dont abuse it. Remember, brakes and tires scrub in as well.
Can you please do higher octane tunes with the higher airflow? I am interested in seeing if there are meaningful gains with other fuel types.
Unless I missed it, which tail tidy is this? Great video.
Looks like a new rage cycles unit
I just bought one as my first motorcycle can’t wait to pick it up tomorrow. I’m gonna drop so many times lol
are you saying break in the engine without riding it ? just rev it in neutral? what does heat cycling the engine do as far break-in?
Nice gains bro😮
Nice little bike. I may just need to get one…🤔
Perfect track bike!!!
The funny thing is I want this so bad, and it's the first stock exhaust I've heard that I didn't feel the need to replace instantly. Also it has ride modes did you have it in B or C cause no bueno
I demo this bike at cota and it was a big torque difference from my cfmoto 450ss.
Understand its a bigger engine but if i was feeling all that torque in 1st and 2nd gear, i wonder what ill feel like without the restrictions.
it simply is too savage in 1st and second for normies. remember back then when the tuono 1100 had people concrete diving...
Hi the GSX8S are the same restrictions
Is there a difference in power shown on the dyno when you sit on the bike vs not sitting?
Of course not, you only need to make sure the rear is strapped down so the tire doesn't slip.
Do the Suzukis get a check engine light you have to clear after tuning?
So is it all flashed too the ecu or is there a piggyback system? It’s big but I’m just curious if how the tuning can be done. I remember doing my own bikes where I couldn’t control below a certain rpm no matter what the fly by wire or ride by wire depending upon what your driving I guess was only able to be tuned at certain parameters
Also would like to know what brand the front turn signals are
dang i miss the early/Late 2000's and the looks of the bike, loved the gixxers, cbr's and ninjas from that time.
IMO the new bikes just don't look as apealing as the older ones.
A new GSXR750 with the stuff from the new bikes tech would be sick.
Any chance you remember or know the ecu flash number?!?
One day hoping for a cfmoto 450ss flash, thing sounds killer with a genuine yoshi on it
I want one!!! I have the V-Strom DE, I want it's stable mate!
My bike, I’d do the ECU tune (with air filter) and skip the bucks-up full exhaust system.
You’ll feel the exhaust system does a lot, but it’s mostly going to come from the weight loss of removing the stock pipe.
No, it mostly comes from the increase in volume which we translate to speed. I'm with you on the rest of it.
Did you do a pair valve delete?
Just bought one, only have the the tst tidy tail kit so far.
do you have to tune with full yoshi exhaust?
Whats the exhaust system on it?
I have been riding a 2016 GSX -S1000 since 2017. It is of course Moore Mafia tuned. I really like the 8R and have thought of getting one. The 8R is almost exactly 1/2 the HP of my current ride and about 2/3 of the TQ. I do like to blast up to redline in the firs two gears on the 1000 occasionally. OTOH, I really like a twin cylinder bike and the 1000 at times is just too much to truly chill on it. Does the 8R have enough performance to keep a liter bike owner happy?
Yes it does. The torque is always there it's very snappy
Where did you get the mirror block off plates?
Does this bike sit more upright that a traditional gsxr? Seems like the handle bars are a tad higher and seat is lower. I have a bad back so I’m looking for something that isn’t as low as a traditional sport bike.
Yes but it somehow weighs more than
MT 09 my friend.
@@JoeStanek-vu7rl had a fz09 back when. Was curious about this faired bike 👍.
I JUST BAUGHT ONE TODAY IN LONDON ONTARIO.$13,500 TOTAL,.STOCK ...I WAS WISHFULL FOR THIS BIKE CAN BE TUNED BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO TUNE IT UP ..BUT ITS KOOL..KINDOF EMBARRASSED CUZ ITS QUITE ...IT WAS SO QUIET I STARTED TO CRY, AFTER MY FIRST RIDE...I CRYED HARD AND IN CRIED FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME..IM SERIOUS.BECAUSE I THAUGHT IT WAS GONNA BE LOUD..BUT THANKS TO YOUR VIDEO I HAVE GAINED SOME HOPE AND I SCFREAMED OUT LOUD WITH THOSE NUMBERS...EVEN THOUGH I STILL HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO DO...
lol what
Was the air box lid modified for this tune? I have this bike with the same exhuast, and these bikes are super fun on the streets.
Stock air box
mine wants to wheelie stock, imagine after a flash
Will that fender eliminator setup work on a 2024 GSX S1000gt+? If so, could you share the link to where you got it??
I got the same bike how much to tune it?
Should it be dyno at like 1:1 at least as close as possible? What’s 5th at the gear ratios you got setup?
I’m just wondering been long time since a got a good piggyback or flash.
What is the name of the exhaust and tail light eliminator?
I take it to operating temp then ride fast as I can for couple hours straight until I get rid of bike then it’s broke in 😂
Does that bike have gear driven cams? Sounds great!
@TeamMooreMafia For Break-In, I set it to Neutral and Rev at 2K RPM, 3K, 4K, 5K for 20s, Does that not harm the Motorcycle? Do I REV pass 5K RPM for 20s? E.g 6K RPM for 20s, 7K RPM for 20s, 8K RPM for 20s? etc...?
Looks way better. Sounds amazing too. I wouldn't mind one. 1000cc is just for bragging. I bet this would be perfectly fine on the street.
I just tried by myself for awhile from other experience but so many cylinders gets complicated for someone who was used to just one even 4 stoke
I want to build another but I can’t afford it and it’s gotta be fast for me too have fun really I’ve been 200mph I only want more. But I’m a dying man so I just wanna feel it all again feel alive one more time after all this chemo and crap and things just happening again but worse I just wanna ride again some when I feel well enough. I never will again tho that’s for sure I got too many reasons and responsibilities I guess I dunno. I just wish I could get my last ride my last wish with a bike of my dreams. I know I’ll never be able to afford or ride again tho this is me. Until I fall I’ll prolly never be back on a bike again I just wish I could. I also got injuries make sportbikes hard now but only if I could still ride I would skate down the rode walking on the side of some guys bikes just for fun again. I used to line those dudes I would walk on there bike literally at like 155 lol. They would be amazed and back off think ima kill em I think lol. But yea I miss it so much been awhile since I had my last liter bike. I will always love riding and the therapy it brought me. I never been the same since I stopped riding when my health declined due to cancer. Unfortunately my cancer may be coming back so I don’t think it’s in my future again. I just miss it alot I guess. RIP to all the fallen riders I’ve known miss you all. Be careful out there guys love the whole community.
These style bikes are not designed to be 1/4 mile burners. You buy this if you want a comfortable sport bike for the street that is fun to ride. This is actually a pretty premium version of that style of bike.
Get a different camera with a wide angle lens? Really enjoyed the turbo busa video. Crazy fast.
