    Bro, if we drive to Cecil Street Market, any suggested place for parking? Or is it better to grab car? We stay at a hotel in tanjung bungah.

    • @pishedbloke
      @pishedbloke  6 місяців тому +1

      It depends on what time you go. Peak hours are around breakfast and lunch 9am-1pm are busy times for the hawker center. Then, the wet market gets busy between 1pm to 4pm. But I have always been able to find parking somewhere around the surrounding streets especially on Lebuh Katz or Jalan CY Choy. It just means an extra 100m walk.

    hey uncle. how to get around Penang island to eat in all those yummy stalls? Is there a car or motorbike rental around or bicycle ? If there's how much per week or day?

    • @pishedbloke
      @pishedbloke  6 місяців тому

      It depends where you stay... if you have accommodation in Georgetown most places are accessible by foot. There are also free shuttle services between Weld Quay (the ferry service) to Komtar and the buses pass by Penang Road. If you want to save time, taking a Grab (e-taxi) would be the fastest way around. Just as an example, Cecil Street is about 15-20 minutes by foot from Komtar by foot. or maybe around 30 minutes from Burmah Road/Penang Road. I would not recommend renting bikes in the city center, the traffic is a bit crazy!

      @@pishedbloke yes uncle. I usually stayed at Lrg Abu Siti near New World Park. We love walking to Pulau Tikus, Chowrasta and as far south to Lee & Tan Jetty. There is one Indian stall selling fresh coconut water on Abu Siti lorong. We enjoyed that very much. The only problem is sometime we walked hours to find nice food and found they weren't opened on the day or some even shut for a period gone away for a long holiday.

    • @pishedbloke
      @pishedbloke  6 місяців тому

      @@u2ber888 Oh that is one of the best coconut stalls on the island. I go there too. I am sorry that you had a bad experience with some coffeeshops or stalls, it is best to check Google on the days and times of business. If you are in town, don't worry there are always some other alternatives nearby, so maybe have a plan B in case the place you wanted to go to is closed.
