He makes me want to do this as well. The tracks by us get one usually once every 15 minutes depending on the day. We have a train yard just outside our city. "Fitzgerald Georgia". I love the night trains especially. There's a girl on here who sometimes broadcasts herself as an engineer/driver in Europe. She caught a few 300km long trips at night, in the winter time. I felt like a kid at christmas watching it. I wish I could do that for a living. But we all know it's one of the hardest to get jobs in the US, probably due to the number of railfans. lol... Thanks for the dedication Jawtooth.
@@thomasaitken7495 Interesting , I live near Columbia river gorge and during the year the trains rip thru the riverside up and down the gorge, its headlamps illuminate the area in front of it has this special theatre animation affect on things around it and in front of it. Glad you made it down to Danny Harmon's territory. Most of you reading this will know that name! For those that do not know, his channel is Distant Signal. WOW! You waited 5 days and you got two for the price of one! AND you even got a train chase out of it! I wonder how many people drive their cars into that road diamond pit every year? The local car repair and alignment shop must be getting good business! LOL
Listening to the scanner in the middle of the night so that the viewers don't miss a thing. CSX Midnight Rendevouz but no DPU. The diamond is not illuminated that well it will be like the LaGrange drop off. Mrs. Tooth handling the supplemental filming and Florida animal wrangling. A warmer day forecast so it should be pleasant Trackside. Thanks for the Florida visit
I wish I knew that you were going to be here in Florida only 100 miles away. I would have rode my Sportster up there just to say hello and thank you for all your hard work.I wish everyone would hit the like button when they watch your videos.
Also very are, a train without any disgusting graffiti. I was crossing my fingers watching train #1, and thrilled to see none of the cars had been insulted by graffiti. As always, great stuff my friend.
I wish l knew that you we're going to be here in Florida only 100 miles away. I would have rode my Sportster up there just to personally thank you for all the hours of entertainment your videos provide. I wish everyone who watches would hit the like button.
In Chicago, we get tons of of trains day and night. I catch them making my morning papers late at 2:20 am all the time. I like how you’re wearing your signature 🌺 shirt in the middle of the night!
Nice catch, Jaw Tooth. Thanks for taking the time out to show us such an odd crossing. A remnant of the fact that the Railways/Rail-Roads built America, kinda! A big thank you to Mrs JT too! Keep safe now. Cheers!
Thank you for waking up in the early morning to catch the phosphate train and the other train going through that diagonal diamond crossing in the middle of the street in Mulberry, Florida, Jaw Tooth! I hope that you were able to go back to sleep after you caught those two trains. Also thank you for including the Amtrak train and the wildlife that Mrs. Tooth filmed.
Only in Florida where you would find a railroad diamond in the middle of the street, fascinating lol. Cool middle of the night catch too. Nice one Mr and Mrs tooth.
Awesome train action in Mulberry and Plant City Florida this morning as i drink my hot coffee and of course seeing a couple of your train pets Chessie and Loki, say hi to Norfie and Brandi, as well as the great train slide show and other videos of Florida as always Thanks Jaw Tooth. 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🇺🇲💨

Hey jaw tooth both you and Ms tooth are awesome. I do the same as you did at diamond crossing. Go out 2 -4 am when I Heard a train. Have a great railroad day 🚂🙋♀️

Excellent "middle-of-the-night" footage of those two CSX dedicated hopper-car trains in Mulberry. I follow similar daytime CSX (daytime) trains -- L772 -- in the Haines City--Davenport corridor...nice to know what my "neighbors" to the south(west) are up to while I'm sleeping💤!!👍👍

This is 1 weird rail road diamond in the middle of a high way 😊😊 awesome video JT p.s. makes 1 kinda wonder who got the right a way when two trains come at the same time🤔🤔🤔
Amazing trains, especially the diamonds trains! I love to hear the chatter of the wheel trucks as they pass over the diamond! Were those Manatees at the end? They are such sweet creatures! Many thanks to Mrs. Tooth for her videos! Girls can do great vids, too!
Something different about that diamond - it doesn't sound like I would expect - a big "clank" before the usual sounds :) I spotted some steel coils on the one CSX train (daylight) along with a nice noisy DPU :) Ms. Tooth's Amtrak catch was very nice!
We have an interesting railroad crossing in Wixom Michigan. Downtown where Wixom Road and Pontiac Trail meet. CSX crossings in the middle of the intersection. In the heart of downtown Wixom.
There is another crossing like that not too from you in Southgate MI. The track bisects the intersection of Allen and Northline Rd. I believe CSX uses that line.
Talk about being dedicated to your craft! 2 AM and you're doing us a service! I hope Mrs. T was able to sleep while you stalked those late-night trains.
Totally captures the feel of the wee hours and of the parts of Florida most tourists never see...trains reflect the big stuff in America...also seldom seen or thought about by most people.
Oof, that ungraded diamond is giving me nasty flashbacks to the time I hit a pothole the size of a moon crater coming off 95 in Baltimore-it knocked my engine completely out of whack (one of the cylinders went all SNAFU-ey) and it never worked quite right after that, ultimately throwing a rod three years later! I wonder how many people’s cars meet a similar fate after hitting the diamond at the wrong angle and speed? But catching and _chasing_ trains at 2 in the morning? _THAT’S_ dedication, my friend! Mad props to you and Ms. Tooth for your dedication and effort here! 👍🏻
Excellent catches JT! Awesome diamond. Closest I've seen is the one in Mason, OH. Man, Loki is getting big! Hope y'all had a good time in FL. Glad you made it back safe, and hope to catch you around again soon.
Griffith Indiana had diamonds in the street until the early 1980s. Also, the town of Cowden, Illinois had one too where the old B&O Springfield line crossed the old NKP Clover Leaf. 😊
That southbound CSX train passing Dade City was the M 457 (Waycross-Taft). The hoppers are likely empty phosphate cars heading back to Bone Valley. The front portion of the train will be dropped at Winston Yard and the auto racks continuing to Taft (Orlando).
Great video! I used to stop for lunch in Dade City on my delivery route every Tuesday between Noon & 1pm. Caught either a Southbound or Northbound freight almost every time @ the Depot. Recently my route was changed, so no more Tuesday's in Dade City. 😔
Night train😶🌫️😍 awesome. Great video! You can be a nature photographer too! You give great variety to your videos, I love that! Thank you for the video Brian stay well roll on
Hello JT I am a new subscriber to your channel and enjoy your videos, and appreciate all the effort you put into the filming. Just 1 question: Do you have a video that explains what all the different types of freight carriages are and what they hold, i.e. coal, ballast , oil, and gasoline ? Thank you Jason
good thing this is in FL I feel like a street diamond like this in the Northeast would get wrecked by frost heaving and the salt from winter runoff. a train horn/whistle always sounds so lonely at night.
There are no grade crossings in my area, but there is a commuter station in back of my house, the don't usually blow any horns after 10:pm, BUT there's always one joker that will blow his horn going through the station in the middle of the night Amtrak isn't too bad, The Acela is incredibly loud.... 17:21
