I've never seen any movies at the Silver Moon Drive-in, but I've been near there, and I've also been at the dead end on the north side of the Lakeland Subdivision. Have you seen the industrial sidings that cross US 92 between Plant City and Auburndale?
@@proggravezilla4175 When I was a kid we rarely saw one over a hundred cars long if I remember correctly but it was a little more hilly where I lived versus this train in Florida
Virtually perfect Trackside weather to shoot new JT videos. Motorists must have a lot of patience at some of these Crossings. The freight certainly was like a Pictionary of who was who in the covered Hopper world. True to Florida was the MQT boxcar like you shoot in Cincinnati being a snowbird and going south for a winter visit. Also a senior citizen that just got a facelift the TTPX bulkhead flat with rebar that got a complete overhaul and now can stay running pastors 50th birthday. All those. Critters fighting for airtime on a JT video. Looking forward to the next installment
Except for the train staying on the rails and being about 30°F warmer, it looks a lot like Ohio, Señor Jaws. Enjoy your vacation. Gracias por tu video. RT sends, Puebla, México...
Great stuff, JT .. incredibly long train with very interesting mixed freight, and a quite different mix of animals vs. Norfie, Chessie, and the rest. Y'all have fun and thank you for bringing us great content.
Hey JawTooth...do you ever care at all about 2 things...the age of boxcars & logos on them, and graffiti guys on traincars, or older hobo/or RR worker streak tags on boxcars?
JT and Mrs JT this was an amazing long catch. I went grew apples, cleaned out somebodies garage, we and played the horn LOLand Piano.and this train was still going LOL.thanks for the catch and as always love the furry animals 🙂 thanks
16:00 onwards.. The flange sequel is a wonderful sound to a railfan's ears! Always heard at low speed on a curve with the wheel flanges pushing against the rails.
Danny Harmon of Distant Signals has quite the collection of videos about The Winston Yard. And they routinely Have 2 & 3 mile trains coming into and Out of the Winston Yard on a daily basis. And it takes a while bc there are Manual switches that have to be thrown and reset. So it can be a while Getting into and out of the yard
More to come! Today I filmed one going up a steep hill with locomotives on the front, middle and rear. It took 11 minutes for it to pass me. I will post it soon
Wow! What a couple of trains! Nice to see Mrs. T in the video. You owe her something special for her patience while you are 🎥 these. Hope the both of you are enjoying your trip to Florida. Stay safe!
I don't understand why people toss trash out. They can get rid of it in dumpsters or in the trash cans at the store. I usually pick up a few pieces of trash when I am waiting for trains. Have a great railroad day also!
Whoa a long train! Nice to see a bit of Florida in your videos JT. I've visited Florida but for the Theme parks although we did travel around and saw the alligators & swamps, 😊❤
This Winston yard must be a huge yard to hold this large train... Wooooooooo !! Wowsers that Amtrak was flying compared to that CSX, love that doppler effect sound with the horn !! 👍 Cool sights and sounds of Florida. Awesome southern FL Video !! 👍👍👍
Awesome video. Ultra, super, duper, extremely long train. Lots of vintage rolling stock (original RailBox, Seaboard, UP). Don't know what's scariest .... "Oderless liquefied petroleum gas" or the gator laying in wait! Great shots of the local animals. Thanks Mr and Mrs JT!
Monster trains, alligators, raccoons all in one! Raccoons are not afraid. I'm wary of them, carry rabbis! Awesome video. Watched it when you dropped it but not all. So i re-watched it! Thank you Brian stay well roll on
Great to see Mrs JT contributing to the video collection. Shame Amtrak isn’t more widespread. We thoroughly enjoyed travelling across the US on the train three years ago. As one who is a crap driver here in England, I’m doubly as bad when driving on the other side of the road!
DPU Jawtooth see you!!! Go ahead let's pack up Jawtooth because he's gonna sit right there for a while but his train is loaded. I watched your short video horses and carriage crossing the train track it's awesome oh my bad he's now picking up power speed.!!!
In the middle of the Tamiami Trail highway are two things: The Miccosoukee Hotel and Casino and the Shark Valley National Park. We rented bicycles and rode the 15 mile round trip in Shark Valley. Ever seen a 15 foot long aligator? They're busy sunning themselves during winter months along the tramway into and out of the Shark Valley Visitor's Center. 15 FEET LONG.
Excellent good video, mr & miss Jaw Tooth. Sorry, i misted this video short time ago. But one train, one long shot for your 📷. Greet from Zandvoort the Netherlands 🇾🇪🇺🇸
One night just after dark I was taking a walk when I saw a cat run across the road ahead of me. I could see it had turned down the sidewalk toward me at a lope but it was running funny like it was injured. As it got closer I saw it was a really fat cat. Then it got close enough to make out the mask over its eyes. That racoon came right on down the sidewalk right toward me. I never slowed and she never slowed. I moved over to the right and she moved over to the left and we passed each other about 10 inches apart on a narrow sidewalk. She just went on about it like she did it all the time. No big thing. I've always heard the Tampa area is a hot spot for rail fans. You have shipping traffic going every direction, phosphate mines, and you name it. I ate gator tail once that an old Cajun man had made up. It was delicious. Thank Mrs.Tooth for standing there almost getting blown away by that Amtrak. I missed your radar gun. lol
The CSX freight was the M552 (Hialeah Miami-Waycross, GA). From Lakeland they’ll take the S line north to Baldwin. If you brought your scanner, CSX trains call their signals with their train symbols. 160.59. Symbols are available online.
Nice train that was a long one have not seen one like that in a while Amtrak was fast 😳 alot of nature that racoon was something else never seen one like that in the day
Nice gator, armadillo, & raccoon action. Used to see armadillos in San Antonio. Cars on that train must have been loaded, tracks were straining loudly. Too bad Amtk 161 was not on the lead. Nice videos as always! Steven in Gresham, Or.
@@markcrowell2727 We always hike in the parks when we visit Florida. Circle B Bar Reserve is my favourite . If you want to see alligators, it is a must see. You hike a little over a half of a mile to the giant lake. There are no boats on the lake and no homes around it. It has alligators floating around all over the place. The wife counted 21. You hike down the trails near the lake and see alligators , herons, turtles and all kinds of wildlife. Its free also. You have to see this place. We went there twice last week. Try to go when its not busy so you can see more wildlife. It use to be a 1,200 acre ranch and voters approved spending 7.4 million to buy it for public. Don't quote me on the numbers. lol

Locomotives on 2 mile workin' hard. Amtrak bookin'. How safe are those long trains really? Some daytime raccoons are out after hours with rabies. Wild critters are interesting but miss Chessie, Brandy, Sophie and Norfie. Never heard from anyone relative to long train safety. Have yet to hear how Shoestring is doing.
Hope that all of you here having a Great day
