My thoughts. I hope they interview other rescuers who happens to stumble upon a helpless person accidentally as well. It would be great to hear their perspective too, after all, these people wouldn't have survive without heroes as well.
I love the vid reenactments seems like it's actually happening. Keep making these, they're very interesting to watch how people are forced to survive. Gives yourself other ways to keep yourself safe and get yourself out of bad situations.
Out of all the people featured in this series, this guy really stands out as one of the all time greats. It's good to see in the comments he's still doing what he loves all these years later.

What does "god" or whatever other imaginary being has to do with it! Greg survived because he was determined to fight and because he had at least one very good friend. And that is far more important than some blessing by "god", who even if he did exist, couldn't care less about all the horrors people survive. (And usually don't survive.) Stop repeating ridiculously infantile trite phrases and have some respect for human tragedy and survival.
@@tsungigudza8803 Well, that is the point: "God" has never done anything to me or to anybody simply because "he" (or "she") ... doesn't exist. So how can I be angry with somebody who is just a figment of imagination. It's like being angry with Santa Claus. Or the Big Flying Spaghetti.
Yes! My papaw had always seemed so confident in what death would bring him, which was going to Heaven. However, when he got cancer and the time was near, he was afraid a little I feel like. It was obvious to me. I do believe he was mostly afraid of leaving mamaw but he was also afraid of death. I have often thought about death and how I am not comfortable with it at all. Papaw seemed so sure everything would be better and ok after death but now that I’ve seen even he was scared, I’m even more anxious about it. I feel like some people don’t even consider death. That’s so strange to me and I try not to think about it myself but how can you not? I force that one particular thought out of my mind because I could really have a panic attack if I were to dwell on it. Is that weird? Lol. I’m weird aren’t I?
That's not fear that's just will to survive. There are many fearless people who have the will to survive despite pain and the odds not being in their favor.

Thank god they interviewed the people who rescued him too. This series normally doesn't do that. It's interesting to hear their perspective.
Plz don't mind write GOD in capital letters
@@usamarustamani9161 Oh my god, does god will you not only to worship him but write his title in big letters? What an ego your god has rofl. On the 8th day Humans, you shall worship me forever and write my name in big letters...
My thoughts. I hope they interview other rescuers who happens to stumble upon a helpless person accidentally as well. It would be great to hear their perspective too, after all, these people wouldn't have survive without heroes as well.
@ Laflaqua 2901 SPOILER ALERT
@@bluenose7984 that's just how written in English God and god have different meaning, just like name are capitalized
I love the vid reenactments seems like it's actually happening. Keep making these, they're very interesting to watch how people are forced to survive. Gives yourself other ways to keep yourself safe and get yourself out of bad situations.
Greg, you're extraordinary, I think I would have given up. Thankyou for the beautiful conservation work you've done, you deserve a medal dude!!
Out of all the people featured in this series, this guy really stands out as one of the all time greats. It's good to see in the comments he's still doing what he loves all these years later.
The world needs more people like this guy. Glad he got to live for many more days.
Best episode and such a nice guy I'm happy he is still alive.
That's an amazing story!!! So glad he survived!! What an incredible human being!!!
A true hero i can understand people's passion for Africa and its wildlife.
Loved this episode, probably one of the best. A man that survived because of his knowledge and hope for rescue
He survived because of GOD beloved, John 3:16-17, Romans 10:9-10
Greg, if you are reading this, please know in my mind I was hugging you while i was watching your ordeal. God bless you for your noble hearth and your love for the wildlife conservation.
@@Kanassatego Lord Allmighty777 Jesus777 Is Real!😇🙏
@@Kanassatego you sure sound very angry, what did God ever do to you..?
@@tsungigudza8803 Well, that is the point: "God" has never done anything to me or to anybody simply because "he" (or "she") ... doesn't exist. So how can I be angry with somebody who is just a figment of imagination. It's like being angry with Santa Claus. Or the Big Flying Spaghetti.
@@Kanassatego speak for yourself.
This is one of the craziest stories I've ever heard. This whole series is f'n amazing. Really shows you how string the will to survive can be.
There was a guy who was in two avalanches, shattered his pelvis and crawled 8 miles through two ice cold rivers to safety. Absolutely nuts.
@@gdaymates431 I just watched that one....I couldn't believe it. What a beast!
I've heard a lot of people say they're not afraid of death but when it's time to die everybody's fighting for that last breath death is scary
@@remix4098 yes true but there is often fear there where its ever admitted to or not
@@MTknitter22 true
well that's just trying to stay alive of course everyone will fight for the last death that's not neccessary fear
I was a microlight pilot and always dreamed of flying over Africa in my microlight and what would happen in a possible engine failure. So your video was very meaningful to me and what happened to you was worse than an engine failure. Thanks for sharing I am so glad you survived.
This is my favorite episode so far. What an amazing man 💜
Lost in the snow is my favorite
great he survived, the way you also embraced Zimbabwe with the DZINONWA MUNA SAVE background track is priceless.
Man I shed many tears watching this episode! This guy has a heart of gold! Tremendous respect for him!! Incredible! God bless him!!! ❤️
Good right watching from Jamaica 🇯🇲
He had only his courage, his wits & knowledge of the bush were the only tools he had. Wow.

You are a very strong African man .. I'm so glad you were ok at end... very happy for you... from Somalia
Half a body gone, fried and dehydrated in the middle of worlds most dangerous animals. This man not only pulls through but recovers and gets back to his work there? What a CHAD!
Although I am a lion yet I could not control my tears.
No that's a common condition withs cats. I would suggest some sterile wipes every morning.
Aren't you a tiger?
Are you endangered ?
Very kind of you that you didnt ate this guy that day
@@abelfigueroa9534 he should have eaten him
These guys whom dedicate themselves to study and preserve our animal friends are true heroes. Creig especially has my admiration for what its worth and justly deserved to survive if anyone should. Take care from Scotland.
This one really had me by the throat! Amazing inner strength, determination and love of fellow man.
Great and moving story Greg!!! Very glad you’re still with us!!! I know about pain! Trusting the 1.5 million. People watching this will never experience it! Termites are a good meal.
Oh my what an extraordinary man Greg is, watching this was to go through highs and lows, I can’t imagine how he survived everything he did and then 100 operations after. Legend, this man is a legend. His friend Peter is a wonderful friend, what a wonderful story of friendship, bravery, courage and gumption.

Bro, when you think to yourself and say you are at complete peace with your life and you have done a lot with your life. Must have been a surreal feeling. Gives me chillz.
When I saw the plane I thought: ‘that’s the flimsiest looking aircraft I’ve ever seen”
The narrator confirmed it a moment later.
Why was this show taken off? It was so well acted and created. Is there any new seasons?
I noticed the same thing. The actors do a great job and the scenes aren't low effort. I once saw an ID murder mystery show where the re-enactments were so lazy. Forgot what it was but this show here is really good.
I'm under the impression it was scaring the hell out of people. I'm on the edge of my seat watching these
The show is TECHNICALLY on hiatus but its been so since 2012 so I think we can say it was quietly cancelled for some reason.
There is a lot to be learned about human nature in these episodes.
Also inspiring courage and resilience. Id be doing it hard if there was no sugar for my coffee or internet. I much appreciate yoou for sharing these stories.
If I ever went to Africa I would want it to be with this guy! What a Legend! Glad he made it!
Bad luck on top of bad luck, poor guy. Glad he made it, the world needs more people like him!
God Bless this man. This story made me cry like a baby. The world is a better place for him surviving. ❤
I cried when he started crying...it's too emotional..thank God you are alive today
Such amazing bravery and strength.
he is such a special man. trying to assist the animals.
Maaannn I broke my left leg tin and fib compound fracture and even sat in a comfy hospital bed with painkillers it was unbearable how he didn't go into shock from that alone shows how hardcore this dude is
Thumbs up to all the survivours and fighters who fall down but come up in their lives ❤
Such a moving story. Tears falling ...
This is hands down the most emotional channel on UA-cam. I'm so happy he survived. 😭😭😭😭😭
Ag, shame! The way he
choked up when talking about the moment he was found. You can really feel how
emotional it is even now so many years later.
He should write a book. Incredible story
Positive heart, positive life. You are the embodiment of that my good Sir.
