      This is exactly why I think the show couldn't continue. I think it cost them a fortune to make just one episode. To bring in such great actors, actually go out to the locations. I am certain that is why the show couldn't go on and that saddens me because there are so many great stories of survival. this show had me interested in the great outdoors since I first caught an episode on television. I was 10 and am now 38 and I am still in awe of the strong will of human survival.

      @@princessinmittens4783 this type of show’s main budget issue is the locations, not the acting. It costs a lot to gather footage from all around the world.
      The actors are great, but for this type of show, they wouldn’t be getting paid the big bucks, and would most likely only shoot over a few days, if that.

      I broke my ankle, twisting it backwards, ripped tendons & muscle. I screamed for 5 minutes. After that, I stopped hurting. I wrapped it up & went to urgent care, couldnt walk on it. They soft casted, gave me crutches. I needed to come back for hard cast. I had just returned to work - I had already been off work for a year with herniated L4/5 etc so I couldnt take off anymore time, hard cast was 4-8wks off work. I wrapped up everything in flex wrap & pushed my foot into flat, calf high boot. Every night I massaged it all, & did epsome baths. Foot was painful to walk on for 2-3 months. I Wore those boots for 1 yr when it was completely healed. It healed wrong, 2 of my toes are paralyzed. Im a freak of nature as my kids say. Many broken bones- i just put the pain out of my head as I did when in childbirth.

      Atheists are the worst. Without exception, any time someone says "thank God", "God must have a plan for you " or even "God bless you" or "I'll pray for you ", there's always some bitter atheist who just NEEDS to let everyone know they don't believe in God. It really shows how sad and bitter you are. I don't believe in Allah either, but the person was trying to convey hope, good wishes, and being nice. If you lack any faith in God, a purpose for your life, or belief that there's something after death, that's fine. If life is nothing but carrying on your genes, have kids and leave instead of taking up resources for the next generation. Many people gain hope, comfort, peace, and a desire to be good people because of their faith. In the US, we have God given rights, protected by the government. If there's no god, you will accept whatever rights the government wants to give you. It's a profound difference. Sorry, I'm rambling.

      Yes! My papaw had always seemed so confident in what death would bring him, which was going to Heaven. However, when he got cancer and the time was near, he was afraid a little I feel like.
      It was obvious to me. I do believe he was mostly afraid of leaving mamaw but he was also afraid of death.
      I have often thought about death and how I am not comfortable with it at all. Papaw seemed so sure everything would be better and ok after death but now that I’ve seen even he was scared, I’m even more anxious about it.
      I feel like some people don’t even consider death. That’s so strange to me and I try not to think about it myself but how can you not? I force that one particular thought out of my mind because I could really have a panic attack if I were to dwell on it. Is that weird? Lol. I’m weird aren’t I?

    I think I've watched almost all of these now and one thing I can't get enough of is that 9 times out of 10 when they are faced with impossible odds and a deep desire to die or end it all what changes everything is the decision to live. They choose life and it changes everything.
    It also saddens me how many people aren't in these situations yet they cannot bring themselves to choose life, I don't mean suicide I mean choosing opportunity, a better life, a bold move, these shows call us to more than just inspiration but also to reevaluate our own lives & the impossible odds we face and then to choose life.

    Pulling back on the stick is not the right thing in a stall, doing so only deepens the stall a trained pilot knows this. You push forward to unload the wing so it can start flying again then add power pull it out of the stall.

    • @markmitchell450
      @markmitchell450 3 роки тому +1

      Yup as long as you have enough hieght left then you force the planes nose down to increase air over the wing then you will be able to gain lift

  • @rickr530
    @rickr530 4 роки тому +5

    Somebody buy this guy a better flight instructor. It's not uncommon to roll to one side during a stall but it's not "one wing flying and the other one not." Also stall recovery involves pushing the stick forward to lower the angle of attack, not pulling back. Pulling back is the exact opposite of what a pilot needs to do and will carry the stall all the way to the ground. 100% of this crash sounds like a combination of improper technique and misunderstanding of flight physics...
