🔥🔥🔥 Something for me to look up to as motivation. New to drumming and also the double pedal. Metal is one of my favorite genres so i gotta get comfortable with the double
Heel toe is the best. They have single pedals with two beaters now one for the heel and for the top of the foot. So you can play that 200 bpm on one foot
Very impressive... but I also know why people use triggers... cause of dynamic inconsistencies... especially in the transition from singles to doubles. This guy does about as good as you can do unless you give up eating and sleeping for practicing this.
yeah take it slow. work on getting your feet adapted to full leg movement first. even though it may seem that you’ve mastered the technique, at 6 months you most likely still have more to improve on. if you want to go fast and just can’t wait, do your research and practice ankle motion technique. if you can get that up to 190 in another 3-4 months that’d be impressive. heel toe can come later when you need it.
Fuckin' A my man. So refreshing to hear this without the damn triggers. How long do you reckon it took you before you were able to sustain steady 16th notes @ 200BPM like in the video?
I don't know man, I think it took me 6 months but like inconsistently, and still up to this day I've been struggling playing 240 - 250 BPM with heel-toe without triggers
For me, if I could turn back time, I would choose ankle but I can't play it for now. If you can play ankle technique, you can play swivel, but for the heel, toe it's the easiest double bass technique of the three, for the meantime I'm practicing ankle... While using heel toe.
@@warrenranstrom4462 hahahaha okay I just play heel toe like everyone does I guess 🤣 with all seriousness I'm just trying to play as hard as I can as fast as I can. If I can nail that down fluently I will do an instructional video on this technique.. 2023 was kinda suck on me cause of anxiety problem I haven't really practice last year hopefully I can bounce back and push my plans this year.. 🤣 don't know why I'm sharing this though. 😂😂😂
Not bad at all. Just need to put in a little more time. I also find it weird your wearing sandals but whatever is comfortable for you. Just work on the timing is all, you got the speed down.
@@bobbyhilda5880 yeah, the reason is that I cannot tighten it more.. it's best if you follow the advice of martin from drumtech academy,,,, it's very helpful...
my mans playing with flip flops bro... impressive
Thanks man
DUNNO WHY this got me dyin😆
truly the most impressive part of this video
Actually makes it easier believe it or not. Heel toe is best done without shoes.
It’s not impressive, it’s LOW
Excellent technique
🔥🔥🔥

It's because you're using the flip flops from Trick
Hahahaha lol
Heel toe in flip flops. Ya beast, lol.
thrashin, nice. thanks for posting
*cries in size 13 foot*
fr bro, i got size 13 feet and even when barefoot i still gotta turn my feet to do heeltoe
Ok so it's not just me cool xD@@aidn76official
The bending toes are so real😂 super impressive btw
Thanks

I havent tried that though, that pedal is so expensive i cant afford it...
@@jubencore1950 they are definitely but possibly worth saving for. If you had two bass drums, you could be at 400bpm with the same effort lol
@@uria702 you're right man,, you gave me an idea about that... Haha...

Hahahahah... I do prefer in triggers set but, I just can't afford it for now
When i understood this i stopped hating triggers.
I do prefer without it, but now i get it.
Bro got dem flying flip flops
ヤバい!I want to be able to do it as soon as possible. It's been 6 months now!
Ive been playing for years and yet i cant still play long enough and clean enough

Exelente parcero!! Yo apenas empezando!! Que tanto tiemplas los resortes?
I started at 180 bpm thats the sweet spot right there
Sick man

Noice!
Dude, i can't set up left pedal for heel toe. Can you make some video about to configure? I have the same double pedals
You mean to make a video focusing my left foot?
Holy shit!
Still too far away from my goals man..
So ig here’s the question: ankle technique, heel toe, or swivel?

sweet . although how low is your beater height?
It's a little bit above the middle of the bass drum..
Awesome! At least to me I feel like playing with flip flops would be playing on hard mode. Hahaha.
Hahahaha lmao
How tight do you have your batter head? I heard it helps the rebound better to have it fairly tight.
It's fairly loose.. i think I can still play a very loose batter head using heel toe.
Looks like your massaging the base drum pedals😂 good job
Thanks bro😅
¿DONDE VENDERAN ESAS CHANCLAS? SERAN CHANCLAS VIC FIRTH?
Hahahaha on your local store i guess😂
bro
What spring tension do you use?
75% bro, but the original spring isn't tight for me...
@@jubencore1950 thanks mate, quite tense then:)
@@bobbyhilda5880 not really mate, but I don't know.
Double pedal blasts?!! Cringe... nah but seriously, very clean playing. This is helping me understand and develop my heel toe technique as well.
Wearing slippers to play drums!? Impressive

Which technique are you using?
I think it's called heel-toe
Just like Wanja Groger!!
Haha. Men. Im way out of his league,,,
Playing heel toe fast is easy. Playing it evenly start/stop with no dropped hits is the hard part, which this drummer can’t do.
Yes,, it's difficult... But still im gonna continue to improve...
How is this fine?
I dont know what you mean haha..
