The best level of security from this set up would have been to back track it. You went four levels deep with the keys, each with unique solutions. Well, rather than trying to open the final set of doors, you could have had a second, secret combination of the six levers that needed to be set, one that didn't open the doors. Then back out, close the third set of doors, and provide a second alternative key; repeat, and set a different set of dials, then finally back out again, and set another specific color combination.
If done correctly, it would seem like there was something important in the final chest that you wanted to protect, when in reality, it was just a red herring. The real vault would be hidden further up along the mountain by a block that quietly moved once all four of the correct keys were entered. In effect, this would create a security system eight levels deep, that was completely discrete and that most wouldn't look for, because they'd be content with the few dummy diamond blocks or lesser armor sets that were stored behind the fourth layer.

Yeah, you never say those five words when playing Minecraft, it doesn’t matter if it should be able to break you contraption _will_ break if you say them
For every combination but the colour wheel lock, you have to subtract one from the number of possible combinations, because the starting state is automatically eliminated.

Heres a vault idea. Make a secure vault that is “Pvp-Proof”. For example a vault built out of obsidian so it cant just be blown into with TNT or mined into.

I’d like to see Mumbo make an actual secure vault by adding multiple layers of obsidian and using an elder guardian to give the players mining fatigue so they can’t just mine thru it
All it'd take is a single bucket of milk to get in. The block design is irrelevant unless you use bedrock because you can't keep people from mining irl unless you're on a server that keeps others from mining in chunks you claim.
That’s why the multiple layers of obsidian is there so it’ll take longer even if they have milk and if this is done in survival you can’t just add bedrock unless you had a mod or something

@@puhlain3926 I'd still break into said vault, it just takes a lot of patience. And maybe a shulker full of milk and a stack of food, plus i can always replace the outer layer of obsidian and nobody would know i'm slowly breaking in.

I remember when 3x3 piston doors blew my mind. I was amazed every time I saw the double piston extender come in and remove the center block. Fast forward 2 years and I was building realistic multifloor piston elevators with elevator doors. That was still before slime blocks and observers.
It is actually really sad to know that this could all be ruined by some dude with a pickaxe.
In survival, yes. In adventure mode it would be killer!
This is why my bases are hidden and filled with traps.

Except on most servers and multiplayer worlds with friends it’s an unspoken rule that you don’t break into a vault by breaking the walls you actually have to try to find the combination
I'd love to see Mumbo try to make a piston door that opens like a garage door. Like, it ascends upwards but also retracts along the ceiling to the back of the room.
