The Fix for the lock starts at 2:40 if you want to skip to that part. I had somehow lost that part of the video before but this is the updated and fixed video.
The tightening of the three torx door jam screws actually warps the lock mechanism and causes the problem. The solution is to follow this video and then gently install the three torx head screws with Locktite. DO NOT over tighten the screws. It appears to be a design problem.
This is what i need to do to my new to me 2005 pathfinder. but driver side. I brake cleaned it and silicone lubed it but it still sticks. gonna have to remove the door panel ugh.

How did you remove the inside cable attached to the actuator and the handle?
