One of my jobs for the weekend. Installing 2 new door locks on my Nissan. Navara D22
Would this be any similar to replacing them on a 1997 nissan sentra? We bought a used one and cant unlock the doors with the ignition key.
Very good information, thanks!
Thank you, sir. I think this will help me deal with my 1999 Nissan Maxima.

Is there a way to test if that little sensor behind the lock cylinder is faulty? I am having issues on my 1999 altima in which the alarm will go off and even though I turn the key in the lock cylinder it will not disarm it like it is suppose to.
I'm having an issue programming my 2000 Nissan Pathfinder LE 4x4 Keyfob. At some point, someone attempted to drill out the Driver's side door lock. The locksmith says, potentionally, doing this has caused an electrical problem preventing the fob from programming. Does this sound like a legitimate cause? Thanks for the video!
Thanks, will this work for an '05 Nissan Sentra, too?
+David Markus We don't have a how-to video for your vehicle right now, but the basic steps in this video should be enough to do this task. Buy this part for your vehicle on 1AAuto.com: 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
How much do you suppose this would aid with a 1999 Xterra. I ask as with that model the only way to lock the doors is reversing the key from the outside. Also this is extremely complicated for the task being done. I feel like the design could definitely be simplified😅. Totally out of your control though. Thanks for the video😃
does work for 2000 nissan frontier v6 3.3 l doesnt have electric windows , just plain manual handle

Does the cylinder works with my original keys?
+Abel Vargas A new door lock cylinder generally will include a new set of keys as a new cylinder would not be compatible with your original keys.
That seems kinda of tricky to remember
mine is diffent
