So I went down to Guangzhou in the south of China to Canton Fair. While I was there my good friend Luis told me about the BEST FAKE MARKET IN THE WORLD. So we went there. And checked out the most authentic fake watches I have ever seen! There where ROLEX, PATEK PHILLIPE, AP, BREITLING, HUBLOT, you name it! Swiss 300 replicas are usually quartz or cheap auto copies which I wouldn't touch either. Other than that I completely agree, I wouldn't touch one, I just know a bit about the replica market

I have a Certina DS First ceramic that's a quartz, new they went for about 600£ when released, but I got it for an absolute steal, I'm notbbithered by quartz, I love quartz and autos equally, take into consideration the build quality, brand heritage etc as well, not only the moment - also not all quartz movements are created equal, Grand Seiko, and Vacheron Constantin just one example of some excellent high end quartz movements. I have a solid 18k gold / SS Vintage omega that's also a quartz that I love, but I do have a soft spot for autos.
The major difference between a fake watch and real one is the cost. They both tell time, both draw attention, and both will get taken in a robbery . Lol.

Actually they showed you the worts and cheapest replica watches available in the market. Since the color of the gold, to the steel cases and worst of all the movements, OMG, the movements are the worst. Since a couple of years they make fake Rolex movements, that even they look similar they don't have the quality of the original, and the movements they showed you are not even similar to the real ones in nothing. The cases were very sharp in the edges and sloppy made, and inside the caseback you just saw an engraved made by a lathe not embossed like original ones. You need to think with quality and think what you don't like in what you are observing, not just looking, because if you are looking at one article that is one of the best things man can produce with quality there won't be slopy this on that article.
You would be surprised how they look today... Ebay has sold plenty of fakes after they were Authenticated by a 3rd party. In 2 or so more years the replicas are going to be better then the over hyped watch industry. No watch should cost more then a 1000$ unless it's got alot of gold and diamonds. F the name brand there homage that will last as long as a rolex! It's amazing how far they have come. I'm all for the guy who can make the exact replica without them making a 10,000% profit of me!! And only if you know about watches and like them, wheter you sell or collect, you know they will never be close to the quality of an original one and less if they are movement manufactures like Rolex, Patek, Vacheron, Audemars, Grand Seiko etc. You can see other people channels like Watchfinder & Co. and its high resolution images and explanations so you can see the best and most expensive replicas will never be the same quality as an original one. And this because if they could do that quality in a watch would be better to have and independ or micro brand and fabricate their own watches with its personal brand, like there are right now a lot of micro brands. Is like when you see a vintage Porsche made out off a VW Bug in fiberglass and for many people at their eyes will be a porsche even when you tell them the low quality in the construction because you know that, but for them will be a porsceh because it looks like a porsche. And most importan, the quality of an original watch that will last more than your life and you will inherit it because they las forever for its quality. I have a military Omega from the 30's that I use a lot and a Patek from early 40's among a lot of others and they will last before my death, Im in 30's age still. All of these watches are cheap knock offs of the eta2824 which no Rolex uses. The perlage on the most expensive one is not there because it replicates the look of a Rolex movement, it's there to fool people who know nothing about them. If you really knew anything about automatic movements, you'd never touch one with your bare hands. Rolex replicas have gotten better but still easy to spot cheapo knockoffs especially with the case back open. That random color he pointed out on the "cheap" one, is the only thing that would resemble a component of a real Rolex movement.

You are talking out of your ass. Rolex mass produces their watches and make over a million a year. These fakes come from factories that don't work together and are constantly moving out of fear of getting raided. They don't make even close to 1% of what Rolex makes, unless you add all of them together. As an individual company, no fake factory can make more than Rolex does.

Swiss don’t fake watches. It’s a serious crime in Switzerland for counterfeiting unlike China where anything goes. They use clone 2824 (date) or 2836 (day date) movements.
That might be an AAAAA replica, but it doesnt even come close to the excellence of a ziarex Swiss replica. You can spend less in China, but quality is worth the investment.

This allows them to create any stainless steel version of Rolex for less than $1,000 and any version of Richard Mille for less than $2,500 in Hong Kong and they do not sell these watches to the markets, nor will you find them in a replica boutique. They send their partners with suitcases full of watches to Dubai, London, and NYC. These super-cloners factories have invested more than 5million dollars, per factory, in order to produce these types of watches. They have metallurgist, highly skilled watchmakers, advanced 3D scanning technology, compound analyzers, ect. They're also very careful not to flood the market. They're making hundreds of millions of dollars every year from their 5 million dollar clone factories. What can you do to combat this type of brand infiltration, stop buying naked watches - regardless of their collectability or their rarity.

I own a real Omega and 2 Cartier's, but a Clean or Noob factory Rolex or VS factory Omega or a Noob Panerai will fool almost anyone on earth including some jewelers. Most watch stores that resell luxury watches will not take a Panerai without original sales slip, box and papers. I took a Daytona clone to my watch guy to get the bracelet resized and I told him it was not real. He said he was amazed at the quality. Good clones don't sell for $62. Think $500 and up for Rolex, AP, JLC maybe a bit less or Omega. It can go to up to $800 or more. If the watches are tourbillon models easily over a $1000

With Rolex you are literally paying for a brand. In fact you could buy an Omega Seamaster for 4k (which is super expensive) and it will keep better time than any of the Rolex watches you get that would cost you 10 times as much.
These are genuine fakes. Sticking grubby fingers into watches isn't very beneficial to them either.

Must be the paradise. I've bought my first replicas in Thailand but the movements are mostly crap. The ones I've ordered from China run for 8 yrs now without any problems. If you get a decent ETA clone it will work, even the Seagull or Mingzu movements are not so bad too if you are on budget. For RLX the 3133 clone is very good, but can have some issues.

Such videos are the perfect place for the fake/replica sellers to find their customers. All you have to do is make a few account and write some bs how good replica watches are and how much better they are compared to the real ones and that none will ever notice and then use another account to reply on your comment that you agree and the fishes will bite. After that all you have to do is wait for someone to ask how or from where he can buy a fake watch and there you go.
There's a big difference between wanting a watch and being interested in horology. Expensive watches don't just tell time, they tell you and everyone how much you can and how much you appreciate (depending on the brand and model) the craftsmanship, work and labor invested in that watch. Those who are not interested in those things will never appreciate or understand the meaning, significance and the history of the horology. All they see is a peace of metal that tells time, yet they want that peace of metal to have a specific and famous logo on it for reasons I don't fully understand. For as long as idiots exist in this world, there will always be someone who's going to take advantage of them to take their money without the idiots even knowing.

Legitimately you wouldn’t be able to tell. I have real Rolexes and when I bought a fake quality one from there through a friend. I’m going to be honest with you, you will not be able to tell the difference at all. Only way you will be able to tell is if you take it to a Rolex jeweler who has the eye microscope and they give it a real good look at the lettering if it’s the same size font and length of each letter. That’s the only way you’ll be able to actually tell. Not even with the naked eye you’ll be able 😂these guys have mastered the craft of counterfeit watch making.. Pretty soon, the only way jewelers will be able to identify a fake? Is by disassembling the entire watch and check the quality and precise speck of the gears etc. Trust me.. Later on Rolex will have to test the quality of the steel if it’s 904L Steel. Because that’s what Rolex are made from.

If you wat to buy a replica you look at the movement in the watch. Ask the seller or even open the back of the watch (if possible).Just Like in the video. Most cheap $50 rolex.... etc with have DG2813 or sometimes Seagul watch movement, these have 21,600 bph. Dg2813 movement is a copy of Miyota 8215 and you can get v good quality however just like any other China made products, quality control is where the issue lies when buying this movement. If you want better quality watches ask for 28,800bph movements. Very low quality aaa reps. The realistic ones 1:1 etc don’t get sold in the fake markets by the “looki looki man”. Everything is cloned on 1:1 but it’s still easy to spot if you have ever owned a gen. Even the clone 3135 movements are low quality (found in 1:1 like noob JF ARF VRF) have the wrong type of balance bridge which is an easy spot. This guy knows nothing about watches.
