The luxury Swiss watchmakers have always been an icon of modern sports brands of such standing, it is only natural that many will choose to make fake watches. It is not always easy to tell the difference between the original and a fake, especially if you’re not a watch expert and don’t know how to open the back of the watch to inspect its movement.
FAKE WATCH MYTH #1: Fake Watches are Lighter than Genuine Watches
Rubbish! Counterfeiters today easily make watches that are the same weight. How? Well, they are using the same ETA movements as the original manufacturers or second source copies. Therefore weight is no longer an acid test.
FAKE WATCH MYTH #2: It’s Not Complicated
You will read that complications never work on fake watches. It is true that in many cases they do not. But many luxury watches do not have any complications except date, which may work on a fake watch. Therefore, the complication test is usually not helpful in separating the fakes from the real.
FAKE WATCH MYTH #3: The Date Bubbles on Fake Rolexes Don’t Magnify Enough
It used to be that the “Cyclops,” the lens over the date on a Rolex did not magnify 2.5 times on a fake Rolex. That is not so difficult to fake anymore. I have seen many fake Rolex watches with the correct magnification. I would not depend on that as a litmus test.
FAKE WATCH MYTH #4: A Genuine Movement Means a Genuine Watch
Have you heard that movements on fake watches are never the same? How wrong that is. Most watch brands today buy their movements from ETA, the world’s largest supplier of mechanical movements. The counterfeiters can now buy Chinese or Japanese reproductions or indeed actual ETA movements from secondary sources. Take a look below at how similar reproduction movements look. Which of below is authentic and which is fake? They look pretty similar, don’t they?
FAKE WATCH MYTH #5: Don’t Look a Gift Horse in the Mouth
There is no such thing as a free lunch, right? The conventional wisdom is that gifts of luxury watches are fakes. Well, this may be close to the truth. But real watches are inherited and sold. If we all go around scrapping inheritance gifts, it may be an expensive error. This is hardly a definitive test for telling genuine finds from imposters.
FAKE WATCH MYTH #6: All the Watches on Craig’s List are Fake
Is this a myth? Probably not, honestly. I can’t recommend looking on Craig’s List for a luxury watch.
Twenty years ago the fakes were really fake. You could look at a watch and really quickly determine it was trash. Not anymore. As manufacturers add counterfeit measures, the counterfeiters copy them. Today we have super fakes that take experience and knowledge to detect.
The real danger is to overpay for the original when good fake is distunguishable only under microscope.
No, the world don't work that way, there is research and development involved
I agree
Do you’re buying Garbage?
@@SilverBackELTorro no
Spoken like a true counterfeit watch selling scumbag!
Hi Scumbag😂
this shows that luxury watch industry is 1% cost of materials, manufacturing, R&D and 99% marketing+margin
I got an assignment for you. Go source all the tools, materials and skills required to manufacture a watch and total the cost.
@hereb4theend Chinese labor is cheap and they’re actually using Swiss parts in there replicas
@@hereb4theend if china can make those parts then it's not that complicated..it's just that Swiss first designed those and hence have marketing edge..these not as hard as making microprocessors
I don't mind buying a fake watch. As long as I'm paying fake watch prices.
When you exit airport turn left, then first left, next left and then left again and left and you're there.
it is disrespectful to buy oneself a fake watch and a reflection of how shitty of a person you are
Matt Prus Oh god, the horror. He's so shitty, him buying a fake watch is almost as bad as rape and murder, the horror!
+Matt Prus . . . Ohhh Bullshit Matt. Maybe it's only you , who feels shitty about Yourself?. Fake Rolex's are only a perception Matt, . . . get a life and stop feeling shitty about your own life.
I would rather buy a fake, and put $10,000 towards a house, car or Holiday 🇨🇦
Agree with you
I brought 1 of these fake Rolex when I was in China 4 years ago for $30 bucks and its still going fine today.
..............they really hate to hear that.
They are not bad watches, they are mediocre but working. But with watches you pay for the tradition and position they gave you. Do you really want people to appreciate your watch while you know they're fake?
fake or not, it is only the brand. not the object itself. the watch is real. a working mechanical watch that lasts him for more than 4 years now.
Let’s look it this way. You drive a mercedes, but you are wearing a fake rolex, people will definite say its real. But you wear a real rolex and take a public transport, people say its fake. Lol.
That is so true, I wore my Rolex to work as a labourer, the bosses though my watch fake, and their faces when they realised it was REAL, I told them it was my work watch :)
Yeah that is the point.
If you stop a moment and think for a bit, don't you think that we're the one getting punked by the original expensive watch companies?
If your buying them, then yes at least a little bit but even the best of these I can’t see becoming heirlooms(the fakes I mean)
Maybe people should wonder when a Chinese fake costing 25$ is almost as nice as an original one, that maybe the original one is terribly overpriced. Perhaps not the person who buys a cheap fake is being ripped off but the one who is buying the original...
Never go wrong with Seiko, Citizen and/or Timex-Casio. Affordable, Reliable,Elegant.
I hope the fakes get so good that the idiots pouring money in to the real thing lose everything, the over inflated prices of the real thing are an absolute joke.
Clean and VSF factories makes super clone Rolexes which is indistinguishable from the real one if you swap a few parts with gen ones such as the ballance wheel
Why would you wish them misfortune just because they bought something you disapprove of? Your comment smacks of envy.
I do not own any fakes but, surely if you were to buy one, you would like people to think it is genuine?
When one of your friends turns up down the pub wearing a £15,000 watch and his car is only worth £3,000 and can't afford a holiday, my last question certainly wouldn't be, is that genuine?
Personally I prefer spending my money on a watch than a car so you can never judge.
I ordered an automatic all stainless steel Rolex from China 3 Years ago. It looked so real that a jeweler couldn't tell it was fake without taking the back off. I paid $38 USD. Fast forward 3 years later it has not changed color at all and it still works!
I have the feeling they can actually produce sonething 100% if they want to...
They can but its too expensive
@@eddyla00 There are already near perfect fakes, that cost between $500 and $1000. Generally, they cost about 10% of the price of the real item. There are several videos of serious watch experts getting out their magnifying glasses and finding it hard to tell the difference.
@@AnthonyLauder Swiss brands absolutely need to have that 1000% market-up in order to have sufficient fund for developing new models in the future. A new set of tools cost millions of dollars, let alone prototyping and hiring designers.
Here’s the deal, and this is for those who really like fakes. Make sure when you buy a fake watch, have a real bmw or mercedes benz to go with it so people don’t ask! Buying a Patek...wearing it and riding a compact honda ain’t gonna wing it! It’s about perception. Now for those who prefer the real thang, save up and make sure you have insurance and can afford the parts and services every 5 years. It’s just like getting married! Difference is...in a divorce you don’t pay alimony because the real watch appreciates...just don’t get drunk and lose it!
May I be excused from your logic? I drive a Mercedes, but I don't wear a fake... I have not invested in a high end watch in over twenty years, but I don't mind wearing what I got back in the day... Now I'm fascinated by the new Citizen eco drive watches and they are really affordable. To these fake ones... If you buy a Picasso replica because you like it, or have a Mona Lisa hanging on your wall, which everybody knows can't be real because of the obvious (it's hanging at the Louvre), this does not mean you shouldn't have them... Same with replica watches; nobody would assume it's real, but you wear it because you like it AS A REPLICA. Do you find it moral for Swiss watchmakers to use twenty dollar movements (calibers) and sell you the watch for one grand, because I don't?
I think perhaps you care too much what other ppl think of u mate. If you have that mindset you life musnt be all that great for you.
@@hugedickerinokripperino5299 yeah man. I agree. Your fucking life sucks man. Turn up the awesome and turn down the suck.
@@A.Dude. moral? If the market bears that a maker can sell them to the retailer at a certain cost, and the retailer is able maintain demand by selling them at even thousands of dollars per watch, then they will. "Moral" has nothing to do with it
A personal friend bought a Rolex 15 years back for 25k when he found himself in a financial jam tried to sell it for 10k, after a month or so of taking to diffrent jewelry stores and a few pawn shops having it taken apart his highest bid for a 25k watch was $5,500..... thats when I realized how truly worthless a real rolex is... my personal opinion, diffrent strokes for diffrent folks
He got ripped off. And who buys a Rolex for 25k that's a mid range brand, 25k is AP and PP territory.
Cyka CheekiBreeki Rolex does have mid range silhouettes but Rolex is by no means a mid range brand. You obviously know nothing about watches
Depends on the model, if it's collectible then u hit the jackpot. Also ur friend brought it to pawn shop so.
Whatever model for 15 years long, you should get $ back when sell
.................Exactly.............watch them vigorously defend brand name.........truth is much different.
*Be Careful when buying a watch*
yea because when some random guy offers a rolex to you for 50 bucks .. you gotta say "hm.. yea that's a nice deal , i almost paid 35.000 dollars to the other store"
Swiss Provider LMAOOOOOO
I bought my dad a fake watch in Hong Kong 15 years ago, they wanted £30 pounds i pad £5, its my dads favourite watch which he has worn every day and is still working today, with no issues. even the leather strap is fine, but worn looking. Nearly forgot it was a TAG well copy.
If I ever go there I think I'd have to buy a fake to test before putting lots of money into the real thing!
What's the point in that? It's like saying I want to buy a $1000 dollar high end shirt but first I will buy a $20 knock off to see if I like it.
I bought my first Rolex in 1964. It was expensive but the problem was that it had to be adjusted and serviced. Service was expensive. Then came the real push for Mechanical Timepieces: Electronics. A US $5 wrist watch keeps accurate time than the US $30,000 Rolex. So, Rolex, as an Accurate Time Keeper, lost to Electronics. In 2002, I bought 2 Rolex Watches in Pakistan for piddly sums of US $35 each. They are perfect. I swam, played Tennis and slept wearing them. Yes, they are Automatic: Day Date. I really do not see the difference. I get them serviced, also for piddly sums of US $10, yes, in Pakistan / India / Nigeria.
I don't mind buying homage watches even if they are made in China, but buying replicas and fake watches is another thing. I've heard that some people who own real Rolex watches have a replica which they use some times when there's a risk of someone robbing you, losing the watch or damaging it which kinds of makes sense. But seeing the average Joe that counts the days before his next paycheck because hes almost out of money with a ''Rolex'', is kinda obvious that it's a fake one. Only rich people can blend in with a fake Rolex watches but they can only fool those who know nothing about watches. There's no shame in owning an inexpensive watch even if has a quartz movement inside.
Just imagine smb bought a watch for 10k$ and now sees the exact same looking watch sold for 200-300$. The only thing left for consolation is that the movement mechanism of his 10K watch will be still working when he is already a long time dead.
except if is gold or with diamonds..
so he is left with precious materials
it is not true....original movement mechanism need overhaul every 5 years otherwise they can run with error seconds and even stop them after 7/10 years....this is due to low tolerances of original movement...
If a fake watch for $300 is almost indistinguishable from a $10,000 Real Rolex, is the Rolex really worth $10K?
Indistinguishable to common folk, perhaps. But a real watch aficionado can point out the flaws in the fake, aesthetically. When you remove the case back is where the fun begins.
Be carful when buying a watch?? Come on!! Be careful when you buying a $15 20 thousand dollars watch. I don't give a fuck if I purchase a "fake" watch who cares if I wear a fake watch!!
Fidel Sanchez wear with confidence, lol
Does the watch keep time? That's the true purpose of a watch. Value, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.
If watches weren't so over priced, they wouldn't be worth faking.
They even counterfeit Seiko, Citizen, Bulova watches.
If you want to wear a 1st teir Rolex everyday, including sports and recreation, why not wear a clone and keep your real one for office or suit and tie affairs.
I think i would only wear a clone if i owned the real one and was just trying to avoid hard wear and tear in a R&R setting.
If you can't come up with
$15,000 and you want a good knock-off for a $100 bucks? Buy one...

Hilarious, sad and true, all at the same time!
I think this is more of rolex problem than china. If the rolex was not so ridiculously over priced they would not bother making fakes 🤷♂️
Only 2 countries can print US Dollar, USA and North Korea. Only 2 countries make all those Swiss watches: China and Switzerland :)
I don't believe in buying fake anything. The brand name on the merchandise should tell what it really is. A watch is not really a Rolex just because the Chinese put the brand name Rolex on it. If somebody buys a Chinese made fake Rolex watch they are not getting a Rolex but they are just getting a Chinese made fake Rolex watch. And if they show that watch to their friends and claim it's a Rolex they are just continuing the lie. Now the Chinese do or can make some very nice watches; but they should just put their own brand names on them. I have some nice Chinese watches that have Chinese brand names on them and I'm proud of those watches they don't pretend to be something that they aren't and they stand on their own merits.
I agree they can make quality watches they should invest in branding
I agree completely. There are some superb quality chinese brand watches in the $100 to $300 range. They are not cheap fakes, with fake logos, but rather excellent value high quality watches with chinese brand names.
I love that they sell these things. Anything that undermines the snob industry is a beautiful thing.
It must suck for you guys to be poor
Admittedly i couldn't give a toss about Rolex and its brand, but this fake stuff is indirectly supporting human trafficking.
@@absoluteb22 I think human trafficking pays for itself.
whenever you are buying a fake watch go for watches that have design(look) which is not available in any of the unbranded or branded affordable watches. Do not buy anything too fancy as it will surely give it away. Do not buy very plain looking either because whats the point in buying a fake watch just for the name tag without the looks. Go for the watch that is having multiple functional dials. Go for watches with unique designs. I would never go for rolex because it would easily give it away as a fake.
My mother was real excited to tell me she had a gift for me. It was a Rolex she bought in China. One look and my heart sank, since I could spot the fake.
I have 3 genuine Rolex...and when I do wear them folks always ask me is it real...I replied it's a replica and they move along. The average Joe can't tell the difference. Don't want to answer too many questions about it.
I can understand lol
How do you want see the differences if you haven't seen the original or have one, this is a absolutely bullshit comparing and comments, isn't it ??
Moral of the story is... fake it till you make it

I love fake watches their like costume jewelry and when I roll into a Vegas casino I can look like a boss on my way to the penny slots LOL
I know a guy who has a 12yr old fake wind up vintage Patek Phillipe, 4 complications, a truly lovely timepiece...did he just get lucky?
i dont understand why they dont just make a brand of their own, i mean they clearly got the skills. origin means nothing to me if a watch is good its good.

I have seen fakes in recent years that all but Jewelers with lots of Rolex experience believe are real. Tbh I had many fake watches, never had a problem with any. Works just fine for regular use. Obviously, they won't be as precise or as high quality as the real ones. But heck if I lose one, or anything, I wouldn't mind since it was cheap. But if I lost an original one... that's another story.

There has got to be an official rolex dealer selling good fake watches in china the whole country is fake they are banging out cheap crap for Europe we are the stupid ones for buying instead of manufacturing like we used too.
Be real, don't buy fake.
you can get a really nice Seiko that will last for 20 or more years for the same price as these copies
Dane Hardinge the copies atleast have solid endlinks and sometimes sapphire crystals. Really like Orient and Seiko but they are overpriced for the quality.
SKX, turtle, samurai, sumo -- all original designs and Seiko makes almost every part.
Wont get you that ass doe
True, but the copies can be quite good. I’ve read accounts of people having one work for ten or more years. Additionally, the lower end Asia 2813 movements keep excellent time and cost only about $15 for a replacement movement. So really a copy can usually last just as long as a gen seiko, and on the same or a lower budget, as well.
@@stammyy2091 That's not true, the sarbs, seiko 5 and orient stars have a better quality - price ratio than most Swiss equivalents.
Many years ago when I was much younger I bought a fake Rolex in Egypt. Even though it was fake it kept great time and apart from battery changes I never had a problem with it. I had it a few years then my dad wanted it and he had it for many years. They may be fake but they do last along time.
Things must have changed and they updated their game. It use to be the fake stuff would go bad pretty quickly compared to the real brand and also if a brand was water proof the fake wasn't. So all aspects weren't duplicated.
That’s a thing, rolex don’t use batteries😂
How come a Rolex use battery?
If you went to China in search of original Rolex, then one needs to kick your ass first ...
All watches are real, only the brands are fakes.
Lol fakes and originals look the exact same. No one cares what you wear. Ain't nobody gonna test your watch if it's authentic or not. Wannabe rich and trust fund kids will get offended
can usually tell a fake watch from the main rivet.
This is an absolutely ridiculous view. Fakes and originals do not look the same!
Replica watches are utterly retarded and I'll explain why. Cheap replicas are dog shit quality with crappy $9 Chinese movements that have beat errors in excess of 5 milliseconds, wildly differing amplitudes and usually gain or lose at least 80-100 seconds a day. They're worthless watches that can't even tell the time properly.
For not much more money than a crappy Rolex Submariner fake, you could get a Submariner homage Invicta Pro Diver with an extremely accurate 21,600 bph Seiko movement that losses or gains only 2 seconds a day. The watch is far better quality than a fake costing a similar amount.
Why buy a fake when you can buy something actually decent and real?! A close friend has a fake Breitling and although I'd never tell him, it's the most embarrassing piece of shit I've ever seen in my life. The printing on the dial is garbage and smudged, the hour makers are all different sizes, the bracelet is the flimsiest piece of crap imaginable and it keeps horrible time - it was 4 seconds out after just 1 hour.
The only guarantee of even half decent quality and time keeping is when replicas use ETA valjoux movements or something similar. Then you're spending several hundred dollars on a replica watch that has no warranty when you could get a really nice Hamilton or Tissot for the same amount of money.
@@Jimbo8012 hHHahhahahaha imagine recommending Tissot over a rep
Tissot watches have TERRIBLE quality control and build quality compared to the reps you can get for the price (or an original Chinese watch like a Lobinni or Seagull). When you buy a good rep (which I can guarantee you have never held in your hand), you are sent macro photography of every angle of the watch (called QC pictures) and you accept the watch to be shipped only if you have no objections with the quality control - dial/indices/bezel alignment, solid end links fitting, rehaut alignment, printing..... Much better system than traditional buying
usually for local Chinese they don’t buy these fake watches, their major customers are the foreigners
100%
Anyone who buys a watch for 10 grand needs there head testing.
not really some people like luxury watches and they have to right to spend their money on whatever they like
a lot of people spend millions of dollars on luxury cars even tho a Honda would do the trick take you from point A to point B
its the same thing with watches
Worry about your own bank account, broky mcbrokerson
Anything that is fake in the style of pretending to be something else to scam you is BAD.
However, if it is openly done and sold as fake, Like a Rolex for 30 eur, well I don't think it is so bad. The market is there and as long as no one is fooled....I had one myself. Omega fake. Lost it on the bathroom tiles. The crappy glass shattered and the clock went bananas. Rubbish inside, but O knew that and didn't pay for anything else. I had a clock that showed me the time well for almost 3 years
i like how the rolexes are doubled the size they are supposed to be
What are the manufacturing costs of a real Rolex sold at the same price level as a "maxed out Volvo"? When replicas can be had for a buck fifty, aren't watches like a Submariner really a $2,000 watch being sold at a snotty premium? I guess manufacturers like Rolex really caters to those who have more money than sense.

They look cheap and fake, why should you buy them?? There are plenty of automatic watches (Seiko, Hamilton etc.) that you can buy at 100/200 $ and look great and have quality movements.
When they make a watch that's a copy, well not so bad, but when they put a brand name on it then it's a counterfeit and thats really bad.
I'd sooner wear a real Casio than a fake Rolex.
It's like a $20K diamond ring. You get another one exactly like it in CZ and wear it. Stuff the real one in a safe.
They make fake Casios too so be careful.
Duke Of Prunes That's ture, they massive produce fake G shocks for 3-5 dollars each and sell them less than $15.
I was given a fake Breathing Navitimer in late eighties and it is still going, only replaced batteries and straps as they wore out, still accurate to 30 secs a month after thirty years.
The quartz Navitimer is one of the ugliest and least desirable watches that Breitling ever produced. Quartz watches use a crystal that doesn't really degrade so +/- 1sec/day thirty years later is reasonable.
No racism here. Watches are watches and people are people. Don't mix them up. If there are no buyers from other parts of the world, they won't make so many fake watches. The Chinese are not culprits. The buyers are as they encourage them to make more. No mention of the white, the black, the yellow, etc., here. All are equal, and some are equally wicked.
Everything in China is fake, and they steal every one of our inventions and replicate them. China is alone responsible for polluting the Pacific Ocean and 50% of the global pollution is caused by China.

Thats the trouble with expensive watches .Anyone can buy a watch thats the same value as a half decent used car, ifthats what you want .But unless you live the rest of the millionaire lifestyle that goes with it ,you know Lambo /Ferrari fancy houses etc then people will always think its a fake
Get used to that, because there's too many fakes out there for skeptic people to question if they are real or not.

These are great if you like the original's design, but not it's exorbitant price.
Quality watches are very cheap to produce now with current manufacturing techniques, so price to quality is high in many 'fakes'.
It's all down to how much money you're willing to waste.
here something to think about.
"“Thanks to current weak Swiss laws, watches produced almost entirely in China can be sold legally under the “Swiss Made” label,” Jean-Daniel Pasche, chairman of the Swiss watch federation (FH), said in a telephone interview."

Are you using a fake camera too?
Whats a fake camera? A device for recording visual images in the form of photographs, film, or video signals. It record film there for its a camera. I don't get your thinking. Please inlighten everyone whats a fake camera. Thanks
I'm currently watching this video on a fake computer.
?
I'm sitting here watching a fake episode of the original Star Trek series. They remastered the opening and closing themes and did everything in HI DEF therefore it's fake............. except for Spock's ears, those are real !
but if they are becoming more prolific and harder to identify wouldn't that make you want tel buy a fake cheap one on purpose...?
I would buy a fake why not? Looks the part, tells time just as good and don’t cost a fortune. Yea I’d love s real omega or a Rolex, I just don’t have a spare £5000 to blow on an overpriced watch anyway and they are very overpriced for what they are. And rather than pay £4-500 for a service, just throw it away and buy another for £150. No brainer really.
To service a Cartier Pasha Perpetual Calendar, it costs $6000US plus.
They're not overpriced. When you buy a watch with 18K solid gold, and superb quality, and end up paying $8,000, that's not overpriced. That's perfect pricing right there.
But for 200$ u can get a Seiko that can last generations
@@90AlmostFamous If not Seiko, buy a Casio Edifice. Mine EF-552-1AV costed around 110€ and works so well. I prefer to buy a real watch from the real maker.
The problem with luxury watches is that it's a proper con market. They're well overpriced and not worth the asking price, nowhere near! Most mechanical watches are small iterations of a mechanical watch movement thats been around for hundreds of years.
I wouldn't call it overpriced but after 10k you will get less for more.
Cyka CheekiBreeki if you wouldn’t call the luxury watch industry overpriced, then there is no purpose for the word “overpriced” to even exist. It is absolutely overpriced.
only because you cant afford it doesnt mean you can cry how it is overpriced
I come across these from time to time in bulk lots and they seem well made, then the hands fall off. I have even seen a fake Cartier with a ronda movement and faceted crystal, it looked really good until the numbers fell off the dial. I always wonder why these guys don't just do their own brand like Sea-Gull or Vostok both cheap watches with tons of style and cult followings.
There are Omegas sold by 3 sellers on EBay (I am sure there are more sellers and on other lesser known auction websites). They are always listed as 1970's Seamaster or Constellation Omegas. Once one is sold, a week passes, and another one shows up that is almost identical. (Does Korea have that many vintage Omegas of the same types?) They claim to be used from the 70's yet there are no blemishes on the cases - PRISTINE. They claim the crystals have been replaced and internals cleaned (reasonable... maybe). The internals are CLONES to the originals. I mean they are so good it they would fool a jeweler. The Auctions start around $30 (WARNING FLAG!) and usually the final bidder pays $350, $500, $700, $900, or even sometimes $1000 for the watch. Would you start an auction at $30 for what you know is at least a $350 watch?
Here is my theory! I think these are being made in North Korea to prop up the regime. This is a Counterfeit that is generating as much money as Counterfeiting money and easier to pass off to the public and around Governments. So, not only are you getting ripped off if you buy one of these FAKE OMEGAS you are supporting Kim Jong-un and Modern Day Concentration Camps.
How do you know they come from North Korea or is this a hypothetical?
I agree it could happen tho
.
I shed no tear for the sucks who buy those..LOL
Don't buy Korean watches off Ebay. Almost all are fake and full price as well. This is why fakes are evil. People sell them as the real deal. Fuck everyone who thinks fakes are ok
actually itis quite amazing how they can produce such a wide variety of fakes for that price, if you pay 40.000,- Euro for a Patek you are ripped off kind off
Rolex and other high priced watch companies are ripping off the customers and they know it, no wonder people are buying fake ones.
April Mae
Eat shit, you clown.
April Mae stfu they have high quality watches that justify the price if you can afford the real and want it you would buy the real ffs
James B & RandMan14: Just stop with the idiotic ideology you blindly absorbed. Swiss makers do have high quality, but their price is FAR FAR beyond what is justified by the quality. The price is mostly based on carefully restricted supply and snob appeal. If you really think it costs that much to make a Patek, you're an idiot.
I sent my fake $20 Rolex to Rolex to have it serviced and a battery change for a joke.. and they sent me the bill for $746 !! and if I don't pay in 30 days they will be sending a bailiff.
xD
oh no you fucked yourself 😂
Are you being serious?
Lmao is this for real?
I'm screaming in my hotel room rn!!! so fucking funny
As you can see each and every brand has been copied, Chinese craftmanship at work again. See why the Chinese dont invent anything lately, they are to busy copying everything under the sun.
Since I'm a shallow person, I have no problem impressing my friends with my replica Rolex. Why paid 10 grand or more when I can get a great fake for $249.00.
$10k Rolex is worth money and hold value 😎
Would you have sex with a creature that looks like a woman but in reality is a man? Think about it. Fake is fake, not the real thing.
I consider to get a Rolex homage, but would never get a fake.
A good fake is still a significant amount of money, but with no warranty. And what reputable watchmaker want to service it?
But the strongest argument not to get a fake watch is that I don't want to be a lyer, and support criminal industry.
Rolex and other luxuary brands may be overpriced, but for the same price as a good fake model I rather get a homage or a high quality swiss watch.
Watch enthusiast here. That "JH" sticker on the crystal of the fake Breguet in the beginning refers to the factory where it was made. Even among replica watch collectors it's known as one of the shittiest around.
